Are you sure it's the correct stock image. I only ask because I had to flash my unlocked UK T-Mobile Desire back to stock ROM. I had the Open Desire ROM installed and am on Vodafone.
Being on autopilot, I downloaded the Vodafone stock ROM and got an error every time I tried to flash it. Then I realised, although it is unlocked, it is still hard coded to T-Mobile. So I downloaded the T-Mobile stock ROM.....hey presto, it installed straight away! <Homer Simpson D'oh!! moment for me>

Recovery Img for HTC Wildfire S

I have a friend who accidentally flashed a different phones ROM onto is phone and can't get past the HTC logo. I was going to try just reflashing the stock recovery.img for his MetroPCS HTC Wildfire S and was wondering if anyone could please link me to this file. I'm sure it's already been asked but I've searched online and I'm tired and want to just fix his phone and get to sleep.
Thank you in advance for any help!

You could try WWW. Shipped-roms.com, look under device marvel. If you can only find ruus, download one and then run it with a process manager. Find the rom.zip that gets moved to the temporary folder. Open it, remove the hboot for good measure and then rename it pg76img.zip (I think that's it) boot to bootloader and try to update. Will leave you with a stock recovery so you'll have to reflash clockwork mod recovery via fastboot in order to do roms.
Speaking of which, have you tried to get to the recovery yet???

[Q] Can't flash ROM, Please Help !!

Hey all,
I have an AT&T One X, CID HTC_621, Main version 2.20.502.7, hboot 1.14.0002, S-On I have unlocked my bootloader and rooted my phone. I installed TWRP recovery, and made a nandroid backup of the stock rom. I then tried to flash Android Revolution. This did not flash, it hung at 30% on the installer. I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of, read every post I can find, and spent over 20 hours trying to recover this phone. I can't flash an OTA, the stock recovery, or get an RUU.exe to work. I can boot into TWRP recovery, flash Clockworkmod recovery if I want, boot to bootloader, I just can't get any ROM to install, either via fastboot or recovery. I get various errors. Is there an ruu I can flash to restore everything to factory? Please help !!
Thanks.
Wrong forum, go to the HTC one XL forum. Don't flash anything from here, you cause a severe brick !
Thanks. I should pay better attention.

stock ROM required for HTC 10 with cid = H3G_001

I need to recover my HTC 10 from ICE custom ROM to stock H3G_001. Can anyone help please? It has been unlocked and rooted with a custom ROM installed. Before doing this I installed TWRP and used it to create a backup from which I was hoping to recover back to stock if needed but although TWRP runs the recover apparently successfully the device sits looping the HTC startup logo. Maybe there is something I could do to resolve this problem as an alternative to locating a stock ROM?

Your phone is s-off or s-on?
It's s-on. I did purchas sunshine some time back but it won't run on this phone -seems you have to pay for it anew for each time you upgrade
I use to have a H3G_001 version. I put all my files (including TWRP backup) in this folder:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B3pbE1dR3uDlUjJzemxHMjJLclU?usp=sharing
See if you can find something useful there.
Good luck!
