First of all I want to give thanks to rlatjs17 and his thread here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1843896. That thread is more about testing where in this one I wanted to provide all of the available options to choose from.
That is where I began my months long search for a good extended battery and case and below is all the info I kept to compare and I decided to share with everyone.
I have posted all of the "off/name brand" extended batteries (above 3000mAh) that I can find. I am not a big fan of Ebay and all the generic batteries so for this thread and am only listing online retailers that sell batteries and cases (and much better return policies that Ebay) with the exception of the only Ebay battery maker that I trust (Cameron Sino). AIRBUS ASH BLACK EXTENDED BATTERY TPU CASE REVIEW - 7/10
The Airbus Ash Black case fits the phone very nicely and all of the holes (headphone, usb and camera) line up perfectly. The case is a little loose on the sides and could be more grippy. The volume buttons are easy to press but the power button takes a solid press to use and that really is the only downside to this case.

Just got my Anker extended battery and blue cover. Fits the phone perfectly and the cover looks good and it's solid. I charged for 12 hours and started using it at about 12pm today checking football scores (go Bears) and listening to music on over bluetooth and 8 hours later only down to 83%. Will see the true test tomorrow when I use it for work. I use my phone as my GPS w/traffic (Copilot) and on the stock battery it's almost dead after 4-6 hours of use. Will see how this one does.

This thing is a beast. I can got 4 days with moderate use. For me thats constantly checking Taptu,Instagram, email and dowloading apps. This also includes listening to music in my car thru aux and a few hours of music thru my bluetooth headphones. Throw in there some calls, pics and 1080p video as well.
Now when I did all of the above plus 4-6 hours of GPS it made it to the second day..I will update this in about a month.
PROS
- Excellent battery life: Minor Use: Probably a week / Moderate Use: 3 - 4 Days / Heavy Use - Should be able to make it thru a day or until the second day
- Excellent fit for cover and battery
- Solid back cover
CONS
- No NFC
- Cover does not have that "OEM" feel to it
I'm very curious to know about the results of the Anker too. I got the Hyperion a few days ago and am impressed overall with the extra boost it gives me over stock but a little disappointed because I am not achieving the similar results as others have with the same battery. I might test out some other batteries as well now and I'm very interested in the Anker brand as well as Onite.

After 2 days of watching scores, listening to music over bluetooth and aux thru my car stereo, 4 hours of GPS use w/traffic, checking email-instagram-taptu, downloading and updating apps and making a few calls it is down to 14% this morning. It's a great battery. I think the key is to charge it 12 hours before you first start to use it. So I will probably get 2.5 days of moderate use.

just so you know you can get these batteries way cheaper. the first 3 listings are just the generic batteries you can find on Ebay for a lot less. the next 4 listings (4200/3300mAh) are made by Cameron Sino one of my favorite battery makers. I have them in my list above ranging in price from $17-$25. Cameron Sino batteries are hard to find sometimes but don't pay more than you have to.

I think I am about to purchase the Cameron Sino battery mainly because I really really love that case. It is the only kickstand case that isnt by sedio.

let us know how it turns out if you do order it. The Seidio is about $55 with the lowest kickstand case and the battery cover. The Mugen battery/case has a kickstand but that's $90. I just can't get myself to pay more than $30 for an extended battery.

this was the cheapest price I found for the Cameron Sino but I have never used the seller before.

just updated my Anker review on the first page. This is a great battery for the price.

I'm from argentina and i needed someone to be able to ship the batteries abroad.
Looked by eBay, Amazon, Newegg, Facebook and Companies Web Pages.
Hyperion, Gorilla Gadgets, Anker batteries.
No one besides Anker (Laptop Mate) were able to help me on this.
So i'm working with them to get this shipped to Argentina. Will update you if got any news.

Mate I hear you, im in Australia and I spent over 2 hours online trying to get my hands on any of these decent brand extended batteries.
I ended up buying laptopmate 's 4400 Anker battery from his ebay store.
I believe after exhuastive searching if your outside USA and Canada its the only one on this planet I could have shipped to me. $21 aud posted I think its worth it. Now to wait a couple weeks and see how it goes

All of the generic cases should be compatible with all of the batteries/covers except for the Mugen and Seidio batteries/covers.
The Seidio cover can fit on the Qcell, Anker and Hyperion batteries (possibly the other batteries as well but someone would need to test that). The Seidio cases only fit on the Seidio covers though.
Some big price drops - the Grey 4200mah from Hyperion is $19.99, the Blue 4500mah from Onite is $18.98 and the Blue & White 3800mah from Onite are $9.80 and $12.60 - all with orders over $25.
