2. go to spen
3. turn off air command
4. scroll down to detachment options and change it to None
5. you can add apps to the menu but only 3. the settings for it does not work so only add 2 or you won't be able to reset it or add any new apps
6. enjoy

1. Install it with your filemanager from the mods folder
2. click it's icon once
3. close it.
4. lock your device
5. pull out s-pen.
6. it should flash the screen on for a second and then goto the memo screen.

How to Flash?
Quick Instructions:
TWRP -> Mount System -> Install -> Navigate to system/mods -> Flash[/B][/COLOR][/SIZE]
Step by Step Instructions:
Step 1, in recovery hit Mount.
Step 2, select system so it has the check mark.
Step 3, hit Install.
Step 4, Make sure you are on Internal Storage and if see a screen something like this, hit (Up A Level)
Step 5, Scroll down and hit system then scroll down again and hit mods.
Step 6, Choose which type of mod you want to install and hit that folder.
Step 7, Now hit the specific mod you want to install.
Step 8, Swipe to flash the mod like you install any other zip.
Step 9, Hit Reboot System and you are all done.

Toggles, Features, Menus, Effects, Unlocks, Themes, Festivals...App Control Options, Shortcuts, Torch, Data, Messaging, Phone, Audio (Dolby, Viper), Sounds, Volume, Launchers, Apps, Camera, Multiwindow, etc etc etc... Hey TEKHD, I messed up the ROM by installing/flashing things that are not designed for URv1.1...
TEKXodus N4 URv1.1 TEKHD EDITION ROM RESTORE FLASH TOOL: "Reset" without a reset... This flashable zip will restore most of the vital files of URv1.1 back to stock. Note that this is ONLY for URv1.1 All your data will remain intact, but all your Phone Settings/SQL Databases/Toggles/Build.prop/SystemUI/Framework will be restored. Very useful for developers testing zips and users that messed up the ROM.

Pre-requisite : If you are coming from KitKat, please upgrade your firmware to the N910W8 Lollipop version N910W8VLU1BOC4. You can download the firmware from

Steps to Install​1. Download the following to your phone
Latest TEKXodus ROM
02_CANADA_DATA_FIX.zip
BioShock_Kernel
Wipe Options
2a. If coming from another ROM, go to Wipe->Advanced Wipe and Select System, Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache
2b. If upgrading from previous version of TEKXodus ROM(N910T versions), then dirty flash should be fine unless recommended by TEKHD(if it's a major update, wiping as in 2a is best for an error free experience)
Flashing the ROM
3. Reboot into recovery and flash the following
a. Latest TEKXODUS ROM
b. BioShock Kernel (Stock N910W8 kernel is also fine, but might break some functionality requiring Permissive kernel), BioShock kernel seems to
provide good battery life and performance from my experience​
Note: If you are an AEL kernel fan, please flash the v13.2 version available, sorry you will have to google for it
4. After flashing, reboot system and wait till you see the Welcome screen(clean flash) or the main screen(for dirty flash).
Note : After you finish the setup in the welcome screen, you will notice that the data/mobile signal is not working, which is normal
5. Reboot back into recovery and flash CANADA_DATA_FIX.zip
6. Reboot back into system and Enjoy the latest work of TEKHD

Quick question though i see you have floating messages in the status bar if I put in my own themed mms apk will that kill the floating messages ?

Well, if you don't hurt too much the XML's and the smali's... I guess it should work... not tested yet... but if the code doesn't suffer too much... (not the coloring part... I mean functional code) no problem in my opinion...
If I don't answer all questions now, it's because I am still working in OP... Sorry everyone...

Alrighty, as of now, I have downloaded and installed the ROM. When I go to add the APN, it will not save the APN. I add everything like the screenshot and the APN will not save. I get this error message:
"Access Point Name settings is not available for this user"

There is a message in the background that says that... but just add apn and hit the 3 dots... then hit save... it works perfectly... done it a million times lol...

-BACKUP EVERYTHING INCLUDING EFS
-USE A CUSTOM RECOVERY
-The recommended installation is the following:
1. (If you are still on a 4.3 bootloader) ODIN Flash a KIt Kat Bootloader (even the I9505XXUFNAD bootloader will do)
2. ODIN Flash the I9505XXUFNC9 Modem.bin (for old bootloader) and non-hlos.bin (for new bootloader)
3. Use a Custom Recovery
4. Make a clean wipe
5. Flash Echoe Rom v20 via Recovery
-ADDITIONAL NOTES:
FOR USERS ALREADY ON NEW B/L: You only need the I9505XXUFNC9 Modem and you can use any kernel offered in Aroma (stock, stock repacked or customs)
FOR USERS ON OLD B/L: Use one of the Custom Kernels offered in Aroma Installation either AEL Kernel, KT kernel, Adam Kernel, Jeboo kernel or talexop kernel. If you will flash the I9505XXUFNC9 Modem, just flash the modem.bin and not the non-hlos.bin.

4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Backup
2. Use a Custom Recovery
3. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
4. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
Note: Even if you are coming from a previous version of Echoe Rom, it is still STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you do a full wipe before flashing!!
5. Reboot and Enjoy
6. If by any chance you have any issues with LTE, do the following:
Using Root Explorer or an analogous app go to data >property>persist.radio.lteon.xml open the file in Text Editor and change the value to true. Save and Exit and Reboot

It is thx to its Developer Not even one bug with this kernel, not only on this TW Rom but with any Rom i have tried sonce ausdim released it...
Also, any benchmark scores I have posted are with stock settings (you couldnt OC v7's CPU, only GPU but didnt touch anything).
Quadrant came at 12466.... Attaching screenshot...

Very correct you are sir. There has to be input from multiple user's experience on how it's running. It's a lot easier to know if there are any bugs present, and the best way to go about fixing them.

I have a weird thing going on (well 2, but the 2nd one don't matter too much)
Wifi and BT work like a champ. NFC probably won't work
#1 My wifi seems stuck on "Obtaining IP Address"
#2 SketchBook doesnt work
I have an update coming already (added back in the SHealth, STranslator, updated WeatherDaemon, and Flipoboard is all) but it can wait, I want to see if I can work out this Wifi thing

Nah, I got it. Problem is its the full app. Thought I could just get away with adding it in from my phone LOL (I only had the stub initially, but downloaded and installed it)

- Power + Vol down to take screenshot (thanks to my friend tn)
- S7 camera fixed Motion Photo
- Bluetooth fixed (can connect more than two)

Well, my GS7 has been stuck in the "Samsung" bootscreen for about an hour now and it's boiling hot. Don't know what went wrong ...
I've been trying to reboot via Volume down + Power but can't boot into TWRP.
EDIT : Got to TWRP spamming buttons, doing my restoration.
I'll pass on Nougat I guess.

Navbar is enabled by default? Thanks for this. But who really needs a navbar on S7 ?

Seems like double tapping the home icon on the AOD doesn't turn on the screen - anyone else noticing this? That would be such a fantastic feature of this ROM for this phone and I'd love to see it as the icing on the cake, this ROM is AWESOME! Thanks for the work man

That's because the S7 doesnt have the Pressure Sensitive home button in the S8

Problem with the ROM. Why is there a navigation bar AND hardware keys at the same time? Would be great if we could just have a navigatiom bar or only a hardware key. Fixed this by editing build.prop and adding "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" This will disable the navigation bar.

Look at the attached. It tells you how to remove NavBar..
Edit: never mind.. you got it .. I was an ass not reading all the way through.. :laugh:
