Problem:
I bought Samsung galaxy grand duos I9082L from Abu Dhabi and i am using it in india. from last 3 years. I did not have any problem till now but unfortunately from last one week my mobile was unable to reach when it was idle(i.e. Mobile is turned on and battery is full, signal is good but still unable to reach) . I use the operator Airtel and when i switch off the phone and turn it on then again the sim receive incoming calls. Apart from that when i make some outgoing calls to anyone then immediately at the same moment within 5 or 10 minutes i can able to get incoming calls. There is no problem with outgoing and internet but i am getting irritated with incoming as many of my friends and family unable to reach me on time.
Steps taken:
1. I have rooted my device and installed stock rom on my device with indian firmware so build number and kernel version changed but baseband version did not change . Does Baseband version need to be changed to India ?
2.I have changed the sim but still issue persists
Can someone suggest a solution for this problem. Any valuable suggestion appreciated !!

Go to settings > sim card maneger > make dual sim always on

my problem with my grand duos is. there is a network signal for both sim but. SIM2 can't able to send messages until I have to reboot my phone to fixed the problem. And this occurred usually every 2 days. I am just amazed is it happened. Also when I call in progress in SIM1 no sms arrived for sim2 and vice versa. After the said voice call the messages starts to arrived.
Hey everyone i bought this S4 mini from kijiji and it was locked to a Canadian carrier virgin mobile. So i got it unlocked (by buying an unlock code) and i am trying to use chatr (cell phone carrier) here in Canada. When i go into search for mobile networks it does show me "chatr" and it does say registered on network but i am not able to make any calls because its always on "Emergency calls only". I have tried all the settings and i have also factory resetted the phone but still no luck. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the sim card as it works n the other phone. Also sim slot seems to be fine as well since it was asking for the unlock code. Please let me know if i need to flash the phone or what can i do to it to make it work. Sorry i am not that tech savvy. Same problem happened to me... I tried all the possible ways.........but unable to succeed.
I suggest you to go to service centre...(they will tell u motherboard of phone has gone... and they will replace it.)
Hey bro you should root your phone and flash any custom ROM recommend carbon lollipop

That has to do with the beta OS, restart the phone with the Sim tray empty, boot it up, power it off, place the Sim back and power it back on.
The beta Roms are region specific, ensure you pick either the world ROM or the Chinese ROM, whichever region your phone was manufactured to run on.
try to flash with miui fastboot rom..and l think the problem from the custom rom..try to switch off and exchange your sim and turn it on..
