Hello , My device is not entering into the recovery mode , even after installing CWM , i tried with stock , and TWRP also , but it failed .... When i highlight recovery in fastboot and press power , it rolls back to hboot screen ,
Any one help me , i want it to be factory locked ... i had unlocked and rooted the device , im unable to get Updates.
Please help me

To be rooted user you've to install recovery and update supersu. To relock your boot loader you will be charged 25 dollars. no need to relock bootloader for update. please clear your problem

no you're not. unlocking and relocking the bootloader is free. but removing the Tempered sign needs S-off which costs 25 bucks
but ofcourse, no need to relock in order to get updates. you just need to unroot in supersu and flash your stock recovery image

if you flash stock recovery, then you won't need to enter it! you just boot to you ROM and update via OTA
When i try to unlock my bootloader , after giving the unlock code bin ... !!
I will get a menu like this and if i select option YES , but nothing happens ... it just shows message as Entering Recovery and nothing happens , !! again i have to select option NO to reboot , I Think this error is the main reason for failure of flashing stock recovery

Hello Naveen, I came to know we have to install Stock RUU again and try back. Me to has the problem exactly you have. Do you have any update? I'm looking the Stock RUU for our indian desire 816? PLz share if you find anywhere?.
For my HTC 816 i have followed the steps from htc site to unlocked the bootloader. next when I try to use the CWM instructions once my cell goes into recovery mode nothing happens nothing happens. I have to press the vol up+ power to boot again. Please suggest whats going wrong as now even if i try reset phone to factory default it is going into recovery mode and as above nothing happens.

Try TWRP instead of CWM. Some people have problems with CWM.

I just bought my One X today. Since it is my first android i am quite noob in all the issues regarding flashing/rooting.
I already unlocked the bootloader, install the clock recovery and then when I try to flash the new rom, i forgot not to extract the zip file so things start to mess up.

OK so as a noob you thought you'd try too root your 1st android phone after having it just one day??? oops! Lesson learned, next time read up loads first and maybe get used to the phone first before trying too root it. Anyway. . .
After installing Clockworkmod did you (as instructed in all the manuals I have read!) do a backup? If so just remove the usb, turn your phone off and go to the cwm boot menu and select restore. Fixed

i see you have flashed recovery..
can you get to it??
Press POWER + VOL DOWN until it reboots and keep holding until u get to HBOOT..
from there select recovery and see if that shows up..
if you can get to Recovery, then you can either flash a CUSTOM ROM, or go back to STOCK recovery and then run RUU (a program provided by HTC that will restore you phone to stock) but you also have to relock the boot loader..
based on your choice more info may be required to help you
My best guess is that you have a messed up kernel...
Ok so guys i had just rooted my htc wildfire s (or atleast thought i rooted it ) and was trying to install a cyanogen mod ROM , it would not install ,if it would install it would be stuck at the htc logo screen , now i thought this would be the fault of recovery so i decided to install another recovery and flash that with cmd (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img) but then when i booted in recovery it would show me the pink recovery, i got a little scared and flashed another recovery and now the recovery will not even boot . it will just go on htc logo and black screen , i tried many different recoveries but no avail , it is in s-on right now , please forgive me if this sounds noobish i really am a noob at this .please provide me with a solution and tell me if it is bricked and if i can repair it by taking it to a software shop and asking them to do it for me (Just advise me if i can come back from this)
Flash the first recovery, which actually worked, and if it installs, wipe everything and flash a basic CM7 rom. It'll work. It's just soft bricked don't worry.

actually i gave it to a software store , he said he couldn't do it as the files were not to be found ... i think it might have been bricked but seeing as i can access h-boot only and when i turn on the phone it only stays on the htc logo screen and does not proceed can you call this bricked . ? i tried the first recovery as you mentioned but it was no use ... i tried relocking and unlocking bootloader again but it seems as if that was unnecessary as nothing different happened .. im still waiting for an answer

thank u for the quick reply but i donot know how but i just flashed an old recovery and voila it worked .. now i am a little scared to proceed please guide me what to do to bring back the stock rom ...

I wanted to unroot my device to send it back for repair ( screen shattered).
I made a backup, flashed this stock recovery(https://basketbuild.com/uploads/devs/Grarak/oneplus3/recovery.img) locked my bootloader, wanted to enter stock recovery to sideload stock rom, but fails .
When i enter recovery mode, Oneplus logo flashes 3 times then everything turns black except notification light turns on.
Now I want to try to unlock the bootloader again so I can flash another stock recovery. But it says : (remote: oem unlock is not allowed )
I know that i have to enable it in settings, but I cant boot my phone to the rom / software. So now i am stuck, I can't enter recovery mode because I messed up, I flashed a "wrong" stock recovery before locking bootloader.
Any suggestions?

Why do you want to lock bootloader, you dont needs to do this when sending back...
and it would be more logical to flash stock rom THEN relock bootloader...

I didn't know. I have searched on other threads from other phones, and a few of people have the same problem. It looks like there is no fix for this problem. I'll just send it back bricked...

Hello XDA community, I have a HTC Desire 526G Dual SIM as is stated on the title, I was trying to root the phone with KingoRoot before and its works fine, but the battery was draining too fast, so i removed the root access, when I did this, the phone stuck on BOOTLOOP, but the problem here, is the phone is only able to show me the HBOOT screen with the options
1. Recovery
2. Fastboot
3. Boot
But when I select recovery just restart the phone and go to the HTC logo screen, and that also happen with all the options, just allow me once to select fastboot but then during the process it restart by itself again, please I need help!! is my work phone and right now I dont have any way to get another phone, so I really need the help!

Flashing Instruction
1) Flash without battery
2) Select scatter file MT6582_Android_scatter.txt
3) Make sure download-agent is DA_SWSEC.bin
4) click on download button of sp tool
5) Press & Hold volume (+, -) of the device
6) Connect USB cable to device holding with volume keys (+, -)
7) Wait till flashing starts
8) After completing flash Disconnect the device put the battery & turn it ON
DONT Forget To Press Thanks If It Works For YOU

still not work dude flashing done as your instruction but still ; bootloop, fastboot not detected, and dead when go to recovery mode omg :silly: i guess the only way is make some bootable recovery from sdcard so i can do OTA update, do you have more solution ? and my bootloader is unlock

if bootloader is unlock then try flashing twrp/CWM for htc 526g and try with custom roms
or try again with selecting Format All + Download in download section but it deletes your nvram also after flashing you to write your IMEI again hope it will work

Then I lost recovery as well as backup. I have downloaded my version firmware from mt. When I try to boot to twrp I got error mode with func 10: no recovery and boot failed. Then I relocked bootloader. Now my phone keep restarting when I plugged USB cable as well the phone didn't boot to bootloader nor recovery and not even twrp. When I plugged it to PC it keep restarting. What should I do? Please guys help me

you are pretty much left with useless device. Maybe paid service like dc-unlock could help, not sure.
You intentionally locked bootloader with phone in a no-recovery non booting condition.
The unlocked bootloader was you rescue method if something goes wrong, and now you don't have that option.
