Hi guys i edit the systemui (notification panel) because i dont like the touchwiz style, so i want to share it with you, my phone is the G530H, dont know if it works with other models
Dont forget to do a backup before installing
You need cwm or twrp to install the zip file or if you want to push it by yourself to /system/priv-app (you have to delete the systemui_ess.odex too) the apk is attached
Some screenshots attached too and hope you like it guys

Yes, i think its modding the framework-res because those are the same colors on settings, contacts, msg, etc.
Im trying but getting problems with java and my pc (a little old )
Wow the notification is rock , but unfortunately it requires Root and CWM .

Hi i just deleted the /system/priv-app/SystemUI_ESS.odex and installed the apk but its not getting installed and also my notification panel had been just gone..
Wat to do pls help me..

Hey guyz ! i want to make my Grand Prime Status Bar(Notification Panel) look like Galaxy S6 Touchwix Lollipop Like ! i also tried Wanam Exposed but i cant figure out how to do make this possible ! i cant theme it properly !! can someone help me out to make this possible ??

Hi all,
I know some of us are not comfortable with the black font color on the buttons in Rio's Hybrid2 ROM and also for XXLM6/8 ROM.
With the guidance of doles, I managed to modified the framework-res.apk making the font color white and also adding ICS sense to the progress bar.
This mod is similar to the mod theme provided by doles but mine is mainly for Hybrid2.
Simply download the framework-res.apk and put it into ur sdcard. Replace the one under /system/framework by using root explorer. Then Reboot. DONE~
I have added a flashable zip Hybrid2_ICS_button+progressbar+extended_menu.zip for convenience. It is together with extended menu.
Remember to do a nandroid backup just in case.

Yes, of course. This framework-res.apk is based on DXLC1.
U need to pull and decompile ur framework-res.apk by using apktool.
To change the font color on buttons
Go to res\values\ and open styles.xml by using notepad then search for
style name="Widget.Button"
change <item name="android:textColor"> to white
Code:
<item name="android:textColor">#ffffffff</item>
To change the progress bar

I have edited the framework u gave but I do not have the same ROM version for testing. U backup ur original framework-res.apk 1st and the replace it with the one I give.

the problem was that after the overwriting, phone stuck on confirm panel, pulling out the battery and powering on, the phone remains stuck on blank screen after the boot animation, so i didn't know how to put the old file, so i wipe all and reflash the rom

You can use root explorer to copy systemui to your computer. Open it up, and then replace the battery images with the ones you want. then push it back.
Are you flashing a theme as well? Just go to the theme your flashing and open systemui and then replace the images you want and flash the theme.

Hi,
i also want to change my battery icon with anime customed icons, but after i have the folder containing the battery icons i dont which icons will i replace , there were two types of icons with two different filenames.. other starts with "ic" (ic_sys_bat.png)and other with "tw" . (tw_sys_bat.png) which one will i replace?

I get this after clearing cache and Dalvik - it's caused by odex files.

You're not supposed to install system apps, you should replace them manually.

On What ROM you have the problem?
What you should do is not to install, but to copy the file. You need a file manager that supports root. Mount /system as writeble. Move/rename old /system/app/sytem.apk. Copy the new one. Put the right permissions (rw, r, r). Reboot.

Then reinstall your backup and start over as you seem to have broken something trying to mod.
the only backup I have of my rom already has this problem, I reinstalled the backup and still the problem.

its totally safe..i myself using it..and if it stuck on the boot there is a xposed disabler zip..you can flash it by cwm..

by permissions u mean 0644?? and did u manually changed each .png icon in systemui.apk??
