Mobile Data not working
Hi guys
I'm looking for a little assistance, i purchased one of these phones off ali express ( after the screen went in my old 800i),
when i flashed this rom for the second time around on my new phone everything is working except for the mobile data.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to fix this issue ( i live in ireland and the phone came from god knows where) the data did work on the stock rom so i think its the tft or firmware,
im not a beginner at flashing ( i could follow and install any suggestions and files) but i would be a novice. I dont know anything about terminals or scripts.

I'm not 100% sure will it help, but try this:
-download file from attachment and flash it from recovery
If for some reson you can't flash it, extract file named apn-conf.xml , put it in /system/etc and set permission to 644
In that file is the list of apns for various networks (but it might not have your network).

I just tried this but unfortunately still nothing ( install from zip worked perfect), could it be anything to do with the files i flashed.

In Ireland we use GSM could I have flashed a cdma variant ?

i just completed a complete re-flash of the kernel rom and firmware ( i did just notice that the phone originated from japan i wish i kept a backup of the original roms etc but as most of the text was in Japanese i didnt see the point lol
Fixed this Issue
Hi Guys this was such a simple fix basically
Go into your phone menu, and go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Data > Access Points
then press menu, and create a new APN with the following:
Name: EE
APN: everywhere (all lower case)
Then press menu, then save. then tap the circle next to the new apn, and restart your handset.
Job Done All Done

Cellular Data issue
Hi there
I'm having an issue with cellular data not working, does anyone have a fix for this?
I can see the 2G / 3G next to the signal meter but there is just no connectivity. My APN settings are correct and data connections are enabled.

-verify if mobile data is checked (from settings no from status bar)
-pull out SIM card and put it back
-try to select manualy network operator(settings--mobile networks--network operators
-check APN --or add new APN with settings from your operator and delete the existing one
.....tell me if the problem is solved ....it was the similar problem .....wind carrier italy.

Thanks, I have checked all the above and all is correct. I remember having the same problem with earlier firmwares (ones like B506/7 if I'm not mistaken, was quite a while since I encountered that issue)
On the one hand I was wondering if it may be something region related, maybe to do with different base frequencies but I'm not so confident in that as I can still call/SMS
For the time being I've reverted to B513 and that works fine, but I'd really like to try out the new version to its fullest. If it makes any difference I'm in South Africa on MTN network

Cannot figure out what's wrong because i don't have this problem. Try to uncheck from settings--mobile networks--data enabled...then check it again...........because it's the same problem with battery percentage: it is checked but on status bar doesn't appears...from settings---battery--battery status-... if uncheck and check again ....percentage solved and i think that here is the same problem

WLAN on but no Internet Connection after some time
a already searched for the internet connection problem in this thread, but can't find a solution.
I have for several days, the LRS 2.5 installed on my G Pad 8.3. Clean install with clean data, system, cache, Dalvik.
Now I do not, however, noticed that my Internet connection via WLAN, after a certain time no longer works. Although I am connected to the wireless network, but it opens no websites, Youtube does not work ...
On my LG G2 Wi-Fi Internet works at the same moment fine.
After I turn on the WiFi on the tablet off and on again, the Internet is back, but after about 5min to 30min, the problems start again ...
I have uninstalled the adblocker Addfree already, the host file placed back to stock, full wipe again, new ROM install ...
With the stock firmware Android 4.2 I had no such problems.
Did anyone knows the problem and has a solution for this?

I used CWM recovery to flash this ROM, the ROM works fine but now my GPad will not boot into recovery. It just loads the android system. What can I do to fix this?

Hi, is possible edit multitasking button present on stock LG Rom like that present on G3 or new G Pads?
PS. I tried to use Xposed but if I activated "G2 tweakbox", Lg apps crashed when I was in landscape mode

Which recovery are you working on? I had the same problem with older version of TWRP.

I dig a little bit and I found a solution.
If you don't have 'Users' tab in your menu download MoDaCo Toolkit for Xposed Framework and enable multi-user in Google Nexus (all) section.
Works with my P5200.

As my kids now also stumbled over this: Is there any solution to make the home button work as expected (= return to home screen)?
I couldn't find any settings for home button configuration, so I think, it needs some tinkering in any .prop file, maybe?
Any hints?

I am also currently dealing with this issue on my new t989
I had solved it before on my old phone using a combination of WiFi fixer and sqlite editor (Setting Storage>global)
I have tried wiping and adding back (from backups) of files in /etc/wifi and /data/misc/WiFi
I have also tried adding files from another phone to /etc/firmware/wlan/prima and to /persist (both of which were empty)
However the files added to /persist keep wiping themselves
If someone can please give me the correct files for those folders (especially /persist and /etc/firmware/wlan/prima) it would be greatly appreciated, also if someone can tell me how to force the files put into /persist to remain that would be good

I have a problem with my T989. In Poland, the PLAY network uses the PLUS and T-Mobile network. When the phone does not use roaning, it displays just as you would with roaning.

Phone reset does not help, delete the data to the default settings helps, but a few days back ill display the name of the network.
What can I do to properly display the name of the network?

Wondering how this rom performs now. I do use tethering alot along with speaker phone and GPS. Are these functioning correctly?

Wierd graphical glitches and freezes.
For some reason, on the 2016/01/11 build, I get occasional graphics corruption when swiping from the lock screen and I return to the home screen. The icons or background show as very corrupted, and it sometimes hiccups for a second then returns to normal. Also, in several OpenGL games, such as Sonic Dash 2, I get this strange screen flickering (the screen flickers black).
The last issue I get, is sometimes the phone will hang at a black screen if I try to turn the screen back on after it had shut off due to inactivity. If I wait a while, sometimes 5 minutes or more, it'll begin responding again, but I don't understand why It's hanging to begin with.

Does it resolve the lag? I use it for studying medicine and viewing slides and I hate that lag feel and too much bloatware inside.
Any known bug?
I'm not a newbie in rooting and modding but I don't want to listen my mother's screams if it crashes or photocamera doesn't work or something like this.

Everything works but for necessary apps such as, camera, calendar, calculator etc, you must install alternatives from the Play store

Is it possible to get back the samsung alarm widget somehow?
This has worked good on my sm-t311. But i miss the alarm widget. No widgets from google play is as good as the samsung one.
Is there some apk's i could put back in the system/apps folder to make it work again?
I found an alarmwidget.apk in some other place and got the widgetback, but it just throws an error about alarm closed when i try to click on the widget.
Can I flash this firmware to my device via Odin? My PC is currently unable to load files to the internal SD card.
