[Q] People Edge not dimming the background? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

So when I first got my edge, pulling out the People Edge caused the background behind the edge icons to fade to black to make the icons easier to read. However, I noticed recently that that doesn't happen anymore. The icons still pop out, but they get overlaid on top of the background, which can make them difficult to read on particularly bright colored patches of screen. Has anyone else had this issue?

[Theme] Alternative of bluestar 5

Thanks for Stericson's Transparent Tab and Icons and Manup's Icons and Status Bar. Here are some screenshots...See if anybody wants it then I will redo a update seriously...
I change the program title from grey to black and some colour tuning for status icons, the battery icon will also show as light blue and light yellow with shadow respectively
I actually really like this. The only thing I hope you can change is the menu tab. I prefer it visible, apparently unlike everyone else. I don't like the blank gap at the bottom of the screen, and I like to see the tab to re-assure me that it's there and that I clicked/dragged it.
Hey not 2 shabby
I Want It!!!!
Out of curiosity, why do several of the menu bars have diagonal lines on them? Is this an issue with resolution? I know the Stericson's first one didn't have it, but the new one does.
That's the image. It's supposed to be there.

Transparent tabs

I'm hoping someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I also hope I get the terminology right - but apologies if I don't.
I'm trying to change the appearance of my HD so the image on the home screen is visible behind the tabs at the bottom of the TF3D screen. I've installed Singh's transparent slider. I've installed the associated "fix". I've installed "no curtains".
What I now have is a clean screen (as I want it), the "box" around the icons at the bottom of the screen appear to be translucent, but I can't get rid of the black band that runs the width of the screen, behind those icons.
How do I get the image that covers most of the screen, to be visible behind the icons.
I hope that makes sense. Is there a tool or .cab that does this?
Sorry for my very basic understanding.

[Q] background picture locating issues when moving icons between screens

I'm having this problem when I try to move icons between different homescreens when in multi background,
background picture gets shifted either to right or left and stays that way until i reset it.
Also getting lot of screen shakes/ white screen outline shakes when i try to move one icon to the other.
am i the only one?
anyone? D:

Notification Bar

My notification bar has a weird lighting issue, it only happens on the home screen. I've only had the phone for 3 months, has anyone else experience this or has any suggestions on how to fix it?
Are you talking about the yellowish tint on the top edge? Is it part of the wallpaper?
It is normal. There is a gradient to allow the icons/clock etc to be seen regardless of wallpaper. I don't believe it can be disabled on the stock launcher.

Lockscreen Text

Ok so on my Galaxy Note 10+ my lock screen text is white and I'm using the default samsung background which is bright blue and white. This makes it hard to read my text. I have tried detailed view, and brief view, turned the auto reverse text and so far the text has stayed white.
Any clue where I am screwing up?
Figured this out. For anyone else if you have Samsungs Quick Star in the Good Lock app don't use the transparent theme as it turns the lock screen text white as well.
