You have to install xposed/gravity box to get "LTE" or install custom ROM (CM, etc).
By the way, 4G is LTE. LTE is the only true 4G. H+ (HSPA) is still 3G, no matter what AT&T and T-mobile call it.
In other countries they are not confused about this like in the U.S. Their carriers did not lie to them like AT&T and T-mobile, telling customers that HSPA is the same as "4G". It's not. So, in other countries when they say 4G it really is 4G -- because it's LTE. LTE is the ONLY real 4G.
But, using xposed/Gravity Box you can change the signal indicator to say "LTE" instead of "4G", if you wish.
But no, you can't have "4GLTE" on the Moto Maxx XT1225. That's redundant, and only Verizon is stupid enough to do that. (That's like carautomobile. It's a car, which is an automobile. You don't need to say BOTH at the same time.) But you can have "LTE" indicator to replace "4G" if you install xposed/gravity box or custom ROM.

Sony branded this technology to work only with Xperia Phone WITH LOCKED BOOTLOADER because even an Xperia with unlocked bootloader loose Bravia Engine because they loose something called DRM keys and even if you relock it you won't get it back. Every DRM keys are related to a single phone so you can't even copy it from an other phone
Sorry to say but I think it's really impossible to make it work on any other phone than a traditional Xperia with locked bootloader..

I just found this apk, and a way to make it works on our moto G
Install steps:
1.- Uninstall any walkman mods. or leave it insalled, just for test (?)
2.- Push apk on /system/app and reboot.
2.2.- Also, you can flash the zip using recovery

Try to clean OTA download folder

One but major issue - screen off tie on the lockcreen overrides screen off time in the system (after unlocking the device). So basicly if you have screen off set on 2 minutes in the system, lock screen will stay on laso for 2 min (despite the setting which is set for 15 sec) when you receive a notification.

Already mentioned in 2nd line of OP..
Custom ROM has their own apps with their own tweaks. It's STOCK ROMs that lack of updates and features...

is the moto actions safe to install? meaning, it wouldn't conflict with existing package and cause the whole actions to disappear?
When i swipe up to open an app in moto display, it does nothing. Is anyone else facing this?

hi sir, i am using motorola moto g5s plus and want to tell you for a little help... can you make a modified or customized moto app launcher for us because of motorola's inbuild launcher has no other features.... we can't hide our apps, can't use themes, and many more features are not available in our official launcher so please bring us a comfortable moto app launcher so that we can use it without using other launcher..... now i am using customized pixel launcher and i am satisfied with this launcher but i want to use our own official launcher with great features.....thank you...

I have made some dualbar designs for our Note 10+ if you using Infinity Rom o other one whit Dual bar mode this is for you (ROOT ONLY AND A CUSTOM ROM)

Well you can try whit some editing app if you want to apply this dual , like adding to a wall paper . But like I mentioned this is for those who have a dual mode in to the Rom (root requires)

I'm also new to the Note 10 as I smashed my Note 8 to smithereens. I did have DeluxeROM on my Note 8, but the Note 10 seems confusing as to what's available and their limitations, bugs, etc. on XDA. Can anyone provide a list of available custom ROMs, recovery (TWRP?) and root apps (Magisk?)?. I have a Note 10+ , SM-N975F/DS, One UI version 2.1, Android 10. Thank you much.
Notes: I can hardly wait to get dual status bar back. One thing I do not like about the Note 10+ is the lack of notification blue LED. Is this a software or hardware issue on stock ROM?
