How do I find out which Android version a PA ROM is based on?
N00b here, looking at rooting my N4 with PA. I can see the latest slew of PA releases are marked as v4.5, which I assume is PA's own version release number. Where can I find out which version of Android they're based on, though? Do the betas differ in Android version number from the last stable release, too?
We are always on the latest Android version. We are actually on PA version 4.6. We have been on Android version 4.4.4 since it was released. We do not change Android versions until Google does. #stayparanoid

No, the Stagefright bug wasn't removed (for more information read Answer #1) 3. It's not ported from any device. It's pure AOKP built by @FrOz3n.

Does the latest official android version go by the firmware?
The latest stable firmware version is 8.0 and the latest weekly is 9.0, does that mean 8.0 is still the latest official android version?
Weekly is developer version, 8.0 is stable. They both are official. One is with less bugs maybe bugfree
