Can I dirty flash the ROM instead of clean flash everytime?
- You can dirty flash but if anything wrong happen, you must do a clean flash first to see if the problem still there before reporting anything here.

- It's stock kernel compiled using linaro toolchain. You can have the source here: https://www.lg.com/global/support/opensource/opensourceList?types=ALL&search=G2
I'm using LS/VS980 and I have some problem...
- Remember that you're using international base so you will have some minor bugs (your variant is CDMA specific). For exp you must use 3rd party app for MMS, visual roaming issue.
I dont have 4G/LTE option in network setting?
- Delete LteConfigs.apk in system\app (D802/5/6 only) then reboot.
LTE doesnt stick after reboot. How I fix that?

Why my data network doesnt work? Or slow data connection?
- Please check your APN settings to see if it's up-to-dated yet. If you need to adjust it, remember to remind me about the new config so I can include them next release
Whenever I select ART runtime, the phone reboot and still using Dalvik?
- You're using Xposed and that's the problem. Xposed doesnt support ART at the moment, it will force your system running in Dalvik mode.

Tested the ROM before the Release, and here are some small facts:
- Downloading apps from the store is superfast (like "on the fly")
- Scrolling thru settings is without any lag
- Apps are opening very fast
-> Facebook first start: around 5 seconds
-> Tapatalk first start: 2 seconds
-> Camera first start: not even 1 second
-> Boot up: 12-14 seconds
That's my first impression and for me, best stockrom out there, it's like i'm having 4.4 already

I really would write my own answer, but cloudy beg's me to not fight (good guy, such a good guy, that's why i love him so much, he's calming my nipples always <3 ).
No it's obviously not 4.4 (Having an D802), but it feels like 4.4/KitKat

looking forward to flashing this, im an aosp guy but there is not one rom out there that doesnt have a bug of some sort.

I'm pretty sure it'll work and it comes with the original non transparent weather widget... I just flashed the flex theme over mine that's why the widgets different

When you first install this ROM, you may ask where everything is. What about the calculator? The calendar? Doesn't everybody use YouTube? Why not include them then?
Verizon, Samsung and Google should not tell us what we have on our phones. That should be our choice!​

The S-Pen itself works perfectly, but the special features are simply not there.

So what exactly IS in this rom? I see no details in the OP at all aside beanstown based

The entire idea of this ROM is that there is nothing in it. You are not limited by Samsung, Google or Verizon by what you can have to have. You choose.

it is 100% stock UI mate

Been running this rom since this morning. Very smooth and fast like many of the other roms. What stands out is the snappiness. Very impressed. I am running the kernel that came with the rom. No FC's as of yet.

we have tested the ROM for like a week and no FC's at all!
worshiprom ROMs are created in a goal to have 100% stock rom with some tweaks and more Debloat and we certainly take care to have absolutely no FC's or system and functionnality problems. so yeah it should be fast and snappy

Outside 100%-inside 20~30%, GPS off, wifi/3g 80/20 without greenify smthing. No u can't hide front buttons ☺ but very smooth/fast experience for this rom. I"'ll be glad for small update with 20f version @ahmed534 ?

it's highly reccomended to do a clean wipe if coming from 4.4.x Touchwiz rom! but it itsn't a must!
Coming from any AOSP/CM/ NON-TW roms a wipe is needed!

If you have have an extra android phone that can do Bluetooth tethering you can connect it to your wifi then tether the internet through Bluetooth.
Now you can install and use this wonderful Lollipop Rom and still have internet. This is what I did.
So now I use bluetooth tether my home wifi and when outside the mobile data is more than enough for me.

[Strike[Wifi not working (need new kernel)[/strike]
Power saving mode doesn't turn off keyboard vibration until you actually goes into the power menu in settings.
While turning off the power saving mode the vibration will be gone. And you can't re enable it
Edit it seems like you have to untick the haptic feedback option to get the vibration on keyboard back!

where did the leak came from? i dont see it in the chinese website doe. since 9508 came from china. waiting for mega.com

[D800] [STOCK LP] Serenity ROM v3

UPDATE: Fixed all FCs. Everything seems to be working fine. Please check my most recent post in the thread.
This is based on stock LP for d800.
It is based on the D800 LP stock firmware. It comes pre-rooted and most bloat removed.
THIS ROM IS D800 ONLY

Bugs:
Some apps will show up as blank icons such as "Isis Wallet" on the homescreen on first install. (If anyone knows how to fix this please PM me!)
Just delete these apps off the homescreen!
Lockscreen weather doesn't work.
To-do:
- Working weather app (if someone has stock LP weather apps from d800 please inbox me! (LGWeather, LGWeatherService, LGWeatherTheme))

Rolled back to a previous update.
Tweaked battery / performance
Lightened up system load
Removed a few apps that aren't necessary.
Removed G4 weather (Will not be adding back)

Removed Carrier IQ.

Fixed the FCs I was having

Could U build one while U are at it?
I like to use the LG Weather app.
Perfer Odex ROM for performance.
Will also test drive Serenity. The only bloatware I remove are just AT&T stuffs.

I too have been looking for a D800 stock Lollipop rom for a while and this looks like it might eventually be just that! I prefer 100% stock except pre-rooted and anything with AT&T's name on it gone. As long as the rest of the apps on the rom allow for uninstallation (not just disable) it would be sweet. Kind of afraid to flash this just yet as it seems to be very early (Alpha) and haven't seen any users post stability reviews so I'll keep an eye on this thread and flash when it looks stable. I don't think LP roms are able to be odexed.
I'll put a zip up to add back LGWeather & Cover in a little bit

It's stable. Only reason i have it as "alpha" is because there are no features. Very stable. I do have one FC though and I'm fixing it now.

This is a flashable stock rom with all of ATT's bloatware removed. It disables OTA updates. I contained the G4 weather in v2!

So, in order to restore a backup of a previous rom, we could simply flash the jb bootloader you included in op, reboot recovery and restore per normal process, correct?

That would be correct.

Any chance of posting the md5 check sum so we're sure we have a good download?

There's two permissive kernels on that page and the 30f ones removed right now, that the one we need?

Use the devnull package

If we were to flash the rom, then @blastagators any rom patch from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3124809), would we be able to forego flashing the bootloader and kernel?

Read the instructions. Flash Rom then blastagator patch then kernel

Posted the MD5 checksum for v2. I don't have the v1 file anymore
