Hi, i've been rooting my phones for years, but with the purchase of the samsung S6E i want to put a cutom kernal. This would be the first time for me to flash a Kernel. I am confused, because at the moment i do not have a custom recovery , TWRP isn't available for thsi variant yet. Is there another way to flash a kernel? i would really appreciate your help. Thank you

personaly I think ktoonservitive for cpu is the best, that's what I use and im good with the battery usage..3 days on single good charge, now Im using the 5/18 release kernel I didn't like the new one so I went back, the new one for me was battery drain small but still there, and issues with stock music player going in and out .... but that's me

abcdjdj - Have you released the kernel update for 4.4.3 yet? The current update provided by Sony sucks and reading the earlier comments about this kernel has made me anxious to get this one. Let me know I can help in any way.

Isn't T2 Ultra cpu made to run @1.6 GHz? Did Sony underclock it to 1.4 GHz? So overclocking it to 1.6 will be just normal right? It won't damage the cpu or phone?

Nah, the phone originally running with 1.4 GHz but Sony underclocked the DUAL version to 1.2 GHz on KitKat (if I'm not mistaken), the clocked it back to 1.4 GHz, so if you overclock it to 1.6 GHz it will run faster and will drain faster too, I think,...

NO WiFi
Hello, is not possible enable WiFi on this Kernel or another Custom ROM - WiFi works only in STOCK ROM or Cyanogenmod 11.M7 and after upgrade in newer too (11.M11) - but if install 11.M11 as clear install then WiFi NOT work...antoehr WiFi chip ???

I had this issue with r17 even though franco insists (he's probably correct) that it is not the kernel. All I know is what is. No problem on the N5. ElementalX worked fine on N7. This was on 4.4.4 stock running Xposed.
Fast charge not working

crash over 172800 on s3t999l
Running 10/29 build with pac rom nightley tryed on different builds but using tiersevative my battery lasts probobley 2 or 3 hours longer than before awsome job any help thanks. is it because PAC isn't actually aosp? Did get up to 183 with voltage increase but I can max voltage and won't go past

Hello, I downloaded your 3/15/2015 aosp kernel and came across something strange where I would randomly have extreme lag to the point of the phone freezing at times. I tried switching to different governors as well as different congestion control and scheduler options and still ended up having the issue, though, at times, not as often.
Do you need a logcat? Or do you have any suggestions as to what I should do, or settings I should try. I have flashed on an existing ROM, and I have flashed along with a clean install (ROM and all).
I also tried installing that other dkp zip in your thread along with the kernel as instructed, but that zip fails to install for me.
noob question would this kernel work on carbon 4.4.4 rom??? has anyone tested it?
ambient display
First off best battery life I've ever had thanks. Can I change something to get ambient display to work. I thought it was a ROM problem but did an update today pac-rom 7-8, and forgot to add kernel, ambient display worked, flashed kernel and quit working, not going to stop me from using this kernel but if I can get it to work cool

Dirty unicorn rom
I have been using the kernel on the Dirty Unicorn rom and so far it runs smoothly. I will post again after a full week of heavy usage so that maybe it can be added to the list of compatible devices.

This kernel works wonders super smooth and it fixed a WiFi connecting issue I had
Me and my brothers phone are rooted and for some reason the WiFi or frequencies where interfering with each other making it impossible to use the internet but this kernel did the trick.

I'm still fairly new at this, but having the wrong kernel is what is stopping the camera from working right? If so which kernel actually works with this ROM?

I haven't heard of any camera issues with this phone and ROM, only the Nexus 4 (mako). You can try Solid Kernel [LP][KK] and let me know if it fixed it.
