This is always a personal taste.
But I would say Resurrection remix and Blisspop
With Blisspop being my daily driver as this one has allot more features and was more stable.
But with the latest updates of Resurrection remix that one is also one of the better ones

Resurrection remix rom is a highly stable rom for the redmi 1s but the problem is the because of some reason the clock speed is stuck @ 998 MHz from the time i flashed this rom so to test out other kernels and eventually solve this problem can anyone suggest me a custom kernel which will work on resurrection remix

Beast kernel
Beast kernel works pretty well on Resurrection Remix. Xcelerate works as well. So does Carbon kernel. Personally, I use Beast kernel because it supports Viper4Android. Other kernels show driver status as 'Unsupported'.

I personally prefer CM 11 its bugless and supports most tweaks and custom kernels. But CM 12.1 is great as a daily driver too
Plus FLEX OS has great customization properties from most roms

Where is MIUI V5 ? Trust me,official MIUI V5 is the best.The most stable,good battery life(if you remove all the xiaomi stuff which you don't use and manage the notifications so the phone doesn't have wakelocks),very good performance,good ram management and so on.The minus is the UI,but you can customize it with themes/launchers and so on.Also,it's very annoying that is asking you everytime you want to make a call/text someone to choose between sims,there's no option to set a default sim.Also if a text comes on sim 2(or sim's 2 network) and you can send texts only from sim 1,if you want to quick reply it will send it from sim 2(even if you don't have any money on it,nor free texts,calls,etc).If you feel like the phone lags after it heats up,you can replace the thermal config file in system with another,better optimizated.But also switching to performance mode helps too.But that's about all.If you don't believe me,try it.All the best!

All of custom pure's roms are ****, plenty of bugs everywhere i tried all, less functions, etc.
The best is stock or modded sligty with agni kernel...
Cm 12 works find for me I have no problems so far

Ressurection remix rom is best rom..
Go for resurrection remix rom.very beautiful rom with minimum bugs
if you want lot of customization...go for rr
flash cm12.1 if you want more stable rom but less customization

i have been using 5.1.1 rom for the last 10 days and almost tested most of the daily features , the rom i was using is 12.1 based on 5.1.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2/orig-development/cyanogenmod-12-alpha-1-n7100-t2949644 i would suggest you to install this one , it is very very stable thus far , earlier i was using similar rom but that was laggy as hell had to uninstall it . but this one is buttery smooth till now

xosp latest version using it for 4 days n just awesome the betery the performance , even with xposed it works like butter
