have lg d722, worked great until i go to the hidden menu and turn LTE on
now i getting 0.02 mb downloading.
tried to get it to 3g only but still no good.
tried to factory reset and didnt help.
help!

why you post this on G4 section man? your not gonna get much help here.
are you on custom rom? just reinstall it. maybe its something with your carreier?

I flashed Sonic 4.1.1 right after I got this phone (in November), and it worked awesome until last week when I tried to flash 4.2 on it.. I lost 4g and now it mostly stays on Edge.. Any ideas...? I did all the fixes I could find on XDA, I flashed back to factory,, Factory reset it, and everything I could think of... I'm stumped and my phone is slow..
Look at this thread. It may help. You will need to be on a Tw ROM.

Thanks mrhaley, I tried removing the RAT restrictions, and switching to Automatic, then choosing all lte, but still no good.. In fact All lte made me lose signal completely.. Any other ideas before I call At&t? haha

Try going back to stock and start all over or flash your current modem/Baseband and see what happens

Choose all lte first then automatic. Since your stuck on edge select all wcdma too. Just select automatic as the last thing you do before exiting that menu.

Great directions guys! it's working now.. Whew, I missed my 4g...
Well, you all helped me figure out how to get 4g, Now how do I get it to stay connected.. It will only stay connected for a few mins now, then it goes to E.. I can get 4 g at will now, but it won't stay connected...

hows the ol' IMEI? i'm mentioning it because i havent heard you specifically mention whether or not you lost/restored it

Thanks for asking... Yes I did lose the IMEI, and had to restore it.. I also went to radio shack and got a new sim card. I have factory flashed and reset it and did all the steps on the link above..
Hi,
Out of the blue, I can't find any WiFi networks. NONE.
ALTHOUGH, if I enter my network's ssid and p/w manually, it will connect.
What the heck.
I just recently flashed stock, but when I did that it worked flawlessly. I also edited build.prop and deleted some bloatware, but I restored everything back the way it was and it still fails working.
No WiFi network is found. Anywhere.
The weirdest thing, is if I download some random WiFi manager from the Play Store, it finds every network available..

Another wifi problem
Hi and happy new year,
I have a problem with the Wifi but not the same as you.
It's very strange because I can see all the neighborhood but I can't connect successfully on known networks.
I've tried with many networks with no success...
Sometimes, the wifi disappears and it shows disconnected.
Maybe it's a hardware problem.

Have you tried not synchronizing your phone with google account after reset? It pulls list of known networks from server, it may have had affected searching of new networks...

I hadn't.. Do you think that could really cause it not to find any networks?
Also, is there a way of erasing that now? Or do I have to reflash?
Either way I'm going to have to use TB to get my apps and data back.. Do you think maybe that has something to do with it? (I only restore user apps though)
im having trouble with my phone, ive already posted on here a couple times but still no luck,
lg g3 ls990, was locked to sprint but unlocked now on the fido network. so my problem is i can not get any data, ive tried a couple of the correct apns, factory reset, reflashed tot file, rtn reset. and still nothing
i took it to my provider but because it was a sprint phone they can send it out to get it fixed. so now im stuck with a phone that does everything except get data.
I really like this phone and do not want to purchase another phone. i would rather get this one fixed somehow. does anyone or has anyone had this problem before.
when i flashed the tot file it was zv4, do i have to get a newer one or should that one be fine. also before the data did work. but after i flashed it the sprint logo doesnt come up anymore and none of the sprint apps are on the phone?
any suggestions and helpful advice???

Ive tried that before but it never does anything. Also if i go into settings and try to update prl and profile manually i always get an error.
Is there a way i can do them manually through a pc?

I've searched and tried the suggestions here and installed creepers (very cool) and still only 3g I'm on the latest Emotionos on my 910v with newest twrp. This is a great rom and I donated anyway but has anyone had any luck getting the 4 g back?

Do a full firmware flash. Use the clp1 without recovery and aboot. That's the god fix. Then flash your rom again. All good.

flash this then in settings go to more under wireless & networks then mobile networks then access point names then in the three dot menu reset to default and reboot your phone

no, its not necessary for this.
Worked for me as well(!)
Flashing LTEfix.zip, then resetting networks to default worked for me as well.
Samsung N910V (trtlevzw) EmotionOS 20170129-OFFICIAL Baseband (modem) N910VVRU2CPF3.
Was only seeing 3G, now see 4G. Not sure if that's a change in indicators or actual 4G (LTE-A), but it seems to have worked.

There are no words, weard1212! I owe you a beer or pizza! I was gonna have to buy a N4 off swappa since losing 4g a week ago. THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR! The ltefix got my 4g back!!!
I do have a new issue though. I'm on emotionOS build 20170328, baseband cfp3 as well. In global network mode I still only get 3g, but 4g works fine when I switch to wcdma/lte. Even weirder: in the expanded pull down notification bar it says "no service" where it should say "Verizon wireless" under the cellular data quick tile button (4g still works though). Any ideas, I'm almost back to being perfect! Thanks again friend!
okay so I can't send texts over lte/cdma? They work on global/3G but not when I have 4g. I'm certain this can be fixed and that's it not hardware. Please, anybody have experience or opinions? Ran the flash twice now, reset apn, network settings and restored nandroids. On global mode under apns it's blank, "the apns for this user cannot be displayed". Flash a different modem perhaps?

I bought this phone off of a local guy on FB and factory reset it. Well now it will not connect to my mobile network or wifi when trying to set the phone up. I tried booting it into recovery and nope. . When i restyart setup it with my sim card in it it tries to connect to mobile but just keeps trying until it times out., same with WiFi. I can't make it any farther than that. The phone worked before the reset just fine , it just had all his crap still on it. My sim card and my wifi both connected to it prior to reset. I am stumped and i need this phone bad with a daughter sick with COVID 19 in Ohio( I am in AZ) i need it badly:. plz help!! thank you in advance.

thx for your reply. Since I cannot ACCESS ANY OF THE SETTINGS , can I still install firmware. I thought I had to enable USB DEBUGGING and unlock the bootloader before i could do any of that? I am asking because I am not completely new to this but I am far from knowledgeable either.
I can get it into download mode but no farther. it does look for the network but the mobile network signal bars have an x on them and signal bars are faded. , the WIFI network icon never shows up at al i am going to try what you suggested now. thank you for your responce
fix you suggetsted says don't work with TMOBILE.

Oh t-mobile is a problem. Maybe the seller had unlocked it or something. You will have to contact the seller.
