[Q] Changing Sony Stock 5.0+ status bar font - Sony Cross-Device Development Themes and Apps

Has anyone figured out a way to change the system status bar font style (clock, battery, notification ticker) for stock 5.0+ ROMs?
Tried ifont, font installer, etc. which were able to change fonts used throughout the system, but all of which leave the status bar font unchanged

thanks for the tip, checked the post out. it's not what I am looking for, though
I'd like to be able to change the status bar font to a custom font, without affecting the other system fonts. the Xposed module Xposed Statusbar Text can do this, but I'd like to be able to do this manually so I can set the font size

Backup all family font of Roboto in internal ou sd card (/system/fonts).
statubar fonts are Roboto-Medium or Roboto-Regular
Roboto-Regular,Medium,Bold and RobotoCondensed-Regular are important.

do you know if there is a way to change ONLY the status bar font? Xposed Statusbar Text can do it, maybe I need to look into the code there ...

[Q] Transparent StatusBar

Does anyone have any clue how to change the transparency of the statusbar on 4.2.2?
I have tried without success with uot kitchen. I donno what i did wrong cos it caused me boot loops. I used to do this on CM7.2 without any issues..
I looking to make the status bar more transparent than is now, so i can see through it (very helpfull and cool)
Thank you!
Install Xposed framework , then add the GravityBox module. It will give you transparency settings for the status bar.

I've tested it. It does not work on 4.2.2 roms.
Thank you soooo much Chromium!!!
Not only it worked, but i could do so many other things, like adding a specific background image to it!
Thank you very much!

Gradient Navigation bar with 3rd Party Launcher

Seems like a weird "problem" for me. I like Nova very much and configured Blinkfeed as a swipe gesture in it. Thats enough for my Sense needs.
But the inbuilt gradient just works with Prism Launcher / Blinkfeed, in Nova I have a half transparent black background most of the time, but sometimes it is a gradient.
Sometimes (and how I would like to have it) is the first atteched picture. Most of the time (and how I don't like it) is the second picture.
Does anyone have a 3rd Party Launcher like Nova running with gradient navigation bar? What could be my problem?
Thanks!
Today I deactivated / deinstalled everything that could interfere the gradient navigation bar (Xposed etc.), still no luck.
I hate this semi-transparent BG!

The solution is in the link in the Post above yours.
- Do a backup
- Check if there is an image called "navigation_background_transparent.9.png" in /res/drawable-xxhdpi/ inside SystemUI.apk, which is NOT gradient but fullcolored
- Replace it with the image attached
- Push modified SystemUI.apk back to System
- Wipe cache/dalvik and Reboot

dude teach me ! i have been looking for a way to do this . i see you explained it but if you would please explain in a little more detail ??? i dont know about updater scripts and what not . can you walk me through the process and maybe tell me if i have to download an app from the playstore to assist me or something ? please tell me how to do this step by step if you have the time to help out.
where do i find the nav background ? use root explorer or something ? i need this that dumb navbar tint is annoying me . the only way to not see it is to have a solid black wallpaper
Easier solution !!!
I have the same exact problem with Google Now Launcher installed on my M8 !
The weird thing is that when I am on BlinkFeed Launcher the navbar is totally transparent , but when I switch to GNL it is getting that darkish tint to it. I mean so far wherever I installed the GNL (with KitKat) the navbar was as transparent as it should be.
I just read the post by shorty1483 here and also in the ViperOneM forum and looked at the results. I should say that it's a nice solution, but as I see here from some of the responses, a bit complicated to follow.
So here is an easier solution to this problem with a similar result.
So if you are ready to modify some system data in order to achieve the desired transparent result I am assuming that you have your phone rooted (Unlocked, S-off,,,) . So then you can very well go and install the Xposed Framework and then install and activate a module called "Translucent Style", where you will have several options to choose from for your navbar, but the only options which give the desired effect are the once which have the KitKat name in it "KitKat gradient " , "KitKat gradient dark", "KitKat gradient light",, so choose one of this and you are good to go.
Note: one of the requirements for this mod is to have BusyBox installed !

Try this in Hex Colour Code Text Box : #00000000 [Colour code for transparent in Android framework apk].
I will try to add Transparent option in next update.

Rooted - change statusbar & navbar....possible?

Now that I've managed to root my M9, is there a way to change the look of the status bar and navigation bar (icons)?
Do I need to be S-OFF?
I have done something similar on a previous (Sony) phone using Xposed. is Xposed compatible with the m9?
Thanks
PS. I'm using Stock Marshmallow rom
Change the theme... I think some themes change those too..

I've tried themes but they only change the nav bar icons.
Thanks
Xposed is running fine here, but I haven't used it for changing status or navigation bar.
Why not try substratum?
