Failed TWRP Install on S6 Edge
Installing on the Galaxy S6 Edge build G925PVPU1AOE2
*Rooted using PingPong Root
*Kernel and Rom are stock and unmodified.
After installing from TWRP Installer on the app exchange the following happened:
1. TWRP Install was successful.
2. Busybox Install was successful.
3. TWRP asked to patch the SD path and Reboot
*Reboot was a success*
4. Selected the Galaxy S6 Build
5. Installed and rebooted to recovery.
...and got a bright white screen with intermittent green lines.
I can almost read letters behind some of the green and said green lines will fluctuate when touched...it will hard reset and it reads when plugged into the PC.
Would pushing the .img through Odin be the best next step to try to get this working?

TWRP Failed on SM-G920I
Hello, I'm from Australia and I got my Galaxy S6, model SM-G920I from Optus. Currently running stock kernel and lollipop 5.0.2 and I was unable to flash TWRP recovery on my device;
-Rooted with CF autoroot
-flashed twrp-2.8.6.2-zeroflte.img via flashify => stuck on boot logo
-flashed twrp-2.8.6.2-zeroflte.img.tar via odin3_v3.10.6 => stuck on boot logo
If anyone was able to help me flash TWRP recovery it would be greatly appreciated!

freeze on boot
I flashed the Stock Firmware Image. Odin flashes the file successfully and the phone reboots but it stays stuck on the samsung logo
If the firmware tar file does not include a userdata image (which most Samsung firmware do not) then your userdata partition will be left from your previous setup. If this is incompatible with the new firmware because of build or something else then your system will freeze on boot up.
This is easily fixable by holding the Volume UP, Home and Power buttons all at the same time for about 10 seconds until the device reboots to the Stock Recovery screen. Use the Volume Down button to scroll down to 'wipe data/factory reset' and press the Home button to select it. Go down to yes to confirm and your userdata partition will be wiped. Your device should now boot fine.
This is my exact problem, phone will freeze on bootup, I can get into download mode but can't get into stock recovery mode. Any advice? thanks

be sure you're flashing the odin packaged file when flashing through odin.
be sure you're flashing the recovery flashable package when you are flashing through recovery.
on the md5 you can remove the .md5 extension and flash.
all recoveries have been tested and proven. refine or revisit your process.
Additionally read the OP and relevant entries/post in thread completely.

You are probably installing the wrong bootloader version. Which file are you flashing with Odin?

please help,
i gave root access to my phone few days ago and was running the stock lollipop rom and its stock recovery, so in order to install custom roms, i tried to install the twrp recovery with the help of the twrp application. now after installing the app i opened it and it asked for busy box installation and sd card patch to be don in order to write on the sd card. i installed busy box and did the sd patch and after that followed the instruction for the installation, after downloading it asked me to install it and i installed the recovery but strangely it didnot boot my phone, anyhow after few secs it told me to reboot the phone, my phone turned off and while turning on, it is still stuck on the "downloading, do not turn if the target" screen. i can access the download mode only. it is not going either into recovery or booting up or boot loop.
please help..!

No SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it.
Hi all!
I've used the method from Munjeni to root my Z1 compact, which was already updated to Lollipop using Sony PC companion. I've unlocked the bootloader (using the code provided by Sony) and I've used the boot.img sent by sharonliu. Everything worked perfect, except for the fact that I see this error when opening SuperSU:
--
There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!
If you just upgraded to Android 5.0, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!
--
How should I fix this? Is it possible to fix it without wiping all data again (I've just re-installed everything again).
Thanks!

Hi, I just wrote my own version of the busybox, root and recovery (CWM or TWRP - aroma selection) -> for Lolipop, sharing it with you.
How to install:
- boot into recovery (if you don't have recovery than extract boot.img from any cm11 rom and boot it with "fastboot boot boot.img" , press volume button to enter into recovery mode)
- install zip package trought recovery
Enjoy!

No need, if you allready installed it, your installation choice was twrp or cwm munjeni, so simple reboot to the one of these recoveries and simple reinstall zip again, reboot, done
im using z1c stock 5.02 lollipop. unlocked boot loader, can i use it now.....please help ..
