my phone is a f180k model. when i flash cm11 , mahdi and omni i got no service even flashing the modem and restoring efs. i edit my build prop.

i already try that. Im saying is when i flash the custom rom CM11 , Mahdi Rom and OmniRom i got no signal but recognized my carrier

Go bavk to original and suggest not to mesd withcustom roms u will encounter with tons problems only..
It is not good have L version tho..
U ll never get 4G/LTE tho ..
It is equipped with 850MHz LTE band omly which is used in korea and near by countries...
And CDMA network (sprint uses in usa)

how about my e975 aftr hard bick no 2g line.only 3g. i tried stock rom and custom but still same.anyone know how to solvr this?

hi friend i cant turn on 2g network in s4 mini i9195 when iam chose (2g only) i have no signal and i see emergency call only...1:i try wipe data cach an dalvik i do factory reset and the probleme stayl her...2 i try this in stock rom and no stock rom(cyanogenmod) and same probleme please help me pleaseeee
note:3g work normal

Change your modem / firmware and see if its better.

i change the modem i try 2 modems the probleme stayl here....any auther solution...note:iam at official 4.4.4 cyanogenmod now...iam from morroco note that morocco have juste android 4.2.2 the kitkat not her from my region.is that the probleme???

Region and modern are not exclusive, you can use any modem in any region.
If you have Knox bootloader you can't downgrade modem use only same family modem or latest

please post me a modem ...because i try 3 deffirent modem and i cant solve the probleme i canant turn the on 2g.iam in cyanogenmod 11 official.in the first iam at stock firmoire 4,.4.2

Are you under warranty and have knox 0x0 then send it to repair
If knox 0x1 try one of these thread

i dont have 2g network when i chose 2g only its sée emergency call only.but when i chose 3g its work fine.i try to change the modems ans i try over 10 roms but 2g not working help me

When you change modem has your baseband changed?
Its in Preference/about screen
Whats your baseband now?
How's your download screen looks like?

If you tried many modems and roms and still 2g does not work then its better to go to samsung service center. They will figure out if it is software or hardware issue.

yes when iam put a new modem its change the modem...iam now at (i9195XXUCNK5)....i try many basband no one work...when iam at 4.2.2 every thing its work but after a update to kitkat i lose 2g connections i see (emergency call only) and i have not bare of signal....but 3g working normal...can i try to download a MoDem from 4.2.2 jeally bean and flash it at m'y 4.4.2 kitkat????

hi i use the rom comming with the phone in the first witch is the 2g work normaly.and after that i use the rom in sammobile

Enable data connection than try to set manually on 2g.

Do you have a backup of your EFS folder and Modem? Flashing a backup will bring back the IMEI.

Exactly what rom was it on before? stock or custom...and exact base version : ex: 4.4.2 N7100ZSUFNL1 .... so we know which android version and baseband/bootloader NL1.
And what country are you in? ...to make sure you are flashing the right stock rom for your phone.

No this is my friends new phone and we don't have backup

it was stock original ROM, Version don't know. he flashed once before with stock rom. i am from kuwait. and i don't know which is our default ROM, Saudi or UAE?

hmmmm well it's a little problematic not knowing which ROM version... because if you flash the wrong one, you will add to the problem.
Can you get Phone info installed (not sure if you can use wifi -- in most cases wifi can still work)... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo&hl=en
if not from playstore, then you can probably find an apk somewhere to load from pc.
I believe you are UAE... but there are 2 versions. LYS and XSG (I don't know which you should try)... maybe LYS - but would be better if you can get Phone info to see more details.

***You should flash the latest (newest version) 4.4.2 ... because if you try older one and the one you have now is newer, that's a nice bricked phone. Good luck!

LG G3 Rom Messing Up Signal

I installed some sort of stock rom debloated and it seems to be giving me bad service. Dropping calls in my house and such. That hasnt happened before. Any suggestions?

How to convert the SM-G920P to SM-920F

i have bought S6. Phon i bought was sm-g920p with sm-g920f rom(6.0.1). I upgraded my phone, It changed to sm-G920P usa version. My phone is now compromised. I tried lot of things. Is there any thing that can change to international device. My phone has 3g network only now.

That's because like mine, the s6 you bought is actually an S6 Sprint model (G920P) and not the international model(G920F). If i remember correctly the rom was modified with G920F baseband. I'm guessing your cell provider is using Band 3 LTE like mine. That's why u cant get LTE to work. This is link to that firmware. Its android version 6.0.1. But i cant remember if you need to flash by odin or twrp. You can check the zip after you've downloaded.

Is it ok to install this rom. btw is my device no longer compromised? i didmt root this phone, but samsung internet says your phone is rooted??

i found another website with a rom to convert to G920F. Tried on my phone. it was successful. now my G920P can get 4G band 3. If you are brave enough and know what you are doing, then you can try. But still, its marshmallow (6.0).

You sure you are getting lte with your G925P ? as I know the G925P doesn't have the hardware support to receive the band 3 (1800mhz)...it supports other lte bands like band 4,5,12 etc.

Changing G920P to G920F can fix Hotspot option to show on settings?

I'm guessing that file is just a patch because it's 58mb?? Is it going to work on android 7?

you have a refurbished phone with g920p board and g920f baseband

use the mini space rom for 920P to get 920F Android 7.0

just thought i should update everyone. i did a bit of digging. and guest what, i think the convert rom are all fake. Even the one i use is actually a modded g920P modem. the 4g signal is actually just a system ui mod. Just out of curiosity i contacted 1 of the converted rom seller out there in the internet. and he admit that its actually just a rom with modded system ui that will show h+ signal icon as 4g. it wont actually allow you to use band 3 lte.

Just flash any stock nougat rom using odin. then try flash this modem via odin. this is the so called "converted" modem. LOL :cyclops:
