I used the one for the note 4 tmobile. Version 2.8.5.0
After i flashed through odin, it was recommended to boot into recovery then
go into settings and then screen settings and uncheck the checkbox and set
brightness to 10%.
The file name is openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-trltetmo.img.tar

@starbucks2010 dont flash twrp for T-Mobile. Dont use same data and system size. You can brick your phone. Use twrp for trltexx

Thank you guys. Yes, indeed I flashed the one for Note 4 (trltexx) mention by @micky387 and is almost ok. I still have 2 very bright side bars (left and right) but the rest is working well. Except Aroma. Actually, I think that Aroma is broken in all recoveries for Note 4 and Note Edge - recovery background writing is overlapping with Aroma messages. I hope that @amarullz will find a solution.
Best regards.

Some recoveries won't flash it because of signature verification. I recommend installing Philz Touch (CWM) recovery and using that to flash the Air Command mod.
Download the latest Philz zip from this thread, boot into recovery, and flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2552657

Did you flash the latest mod and the correct version? Might have to do a restore and flash again using newest and correct one for your device. The original mod broke Wifi on 5100 it seems.
My suggestion is to just flash civato's rom. It has the kernel fixes you need, SPen accuracy is spot on (unlike stock), has Air Command install option, and many customization options. Still based on stock rom so everything works.

[Q] TWRP on Note 10.1 2014 WiFi - Touchscreen not working

I installed TWRP on my Note 10.1 2014 through the play store app. Once I installed the recovery image, I tried rebooting into recovery and it would only boot to the OS.
I went into the app and rebooted to recovery from there and it did go into TWRP, however, there is no response on the touchscreen or any other button but power, which causes it to reboot back into TWRP.
I haven't been able to find a way to get back to the OS or do anything else.
Can anybody help me out? I'm very new to this, I had it rooted and tripped the warranty bit a while back but that's all I've done. I just want to upgrade to KK, which I can't do since the warranty bit has been tripped. (I'll go to Lollipop if I can, but I have a few apps I want that need at least KitKat.)
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!!

Yes, it was 2.8.7.0. After doing some more searching, I found out how to flash TWRP with Odin and got 2.8.6.0 working. I now have it fixed running Lollipop.

Thank you sir. Exactly the same problem here: No touchscreen on SM-P600, stuck on recovery boot loop, and had to flash TWRP through ODIN to get out. Now in 2.8.6.0 and everything is working now.
Hi.
Anybody could tell me how solve this problem?. Me too installed TWRP 2.8.7.0 in my Samsun SM-P600 but touchscreen does not work. Shutdown the tablet doesn't work, only return to TWRP.
Ashade mentioned: "had to flash TWRP through ODIN", but, if there is a guide let me know, because I don't wanna break my tablet more.
This of root and flash is new for me.

Go here and read thread #6 and #7. After you flashed twrp 2.8.7.0, you need to use your spen to navigate and it's very sensitive so be careful not to click on the wrong option. Good luck.

There is a version of 2.8.7.0 with fully working touch and other tweaks. This one: https://basketbuild.com/devs/Joshndroid/TWRP/lt03wifi which is compiled to support F2FS, but works just fine.

Has anyone used FlashFire yet to make backups and/or flash anything yet?

I want to download FlashFire to make a Nandroid backup before I try some of the Xposed stuff androidfreaks35 posted, but I want to make sure FlashFire works properly on the G4 before doing so.
I haven't used FlashFire, but we don't have custom recovery so I don't know how you expect to flash zips or install Xposed.

Flashfire is a way to what is done in TRWP without a custom recovery. It is what I used to flash roms on my S6.

I think you're confusing Flash fire with Flashify. I can confirm that Flashify works for kernel and recovery (and successfully restored recovery after I flashed the TMo TWRP). I'm getting the same results as the OP with Flashfire. My screen goes black and I have to force a reboot.

This is bc the kernel needs a hijack of some sort. It just doesn't work bc of the app.. with FlashFire or SafeStrap. There needs to be more to it.

You should be okay to flash that mod (I don't know which one it is exactly so don't hold me responsible); but I'm pretty sure you should be okay without worrying about slots, for this at least

Yes, if your still on 8.1, there's no trouble with it at all. Fastboot the new twrp.img, enter twrp, flash the twrp.zip, then kernel.zip, then magisk.zip. I would, for this new update, still remove your screen lock security just to be safe. Then add it back in, and you'll be fine :good:

Go ahead if you'd like. I Was merely pointing out the safe and tested method that I, and many others use to upgrade. The P2XL is a little bit of a finicky beast. I've read too many stories over the last 3 months with bootloops and soft bricks by others doing simple flashing procedures that worked fine on other nexus devices, but crap a brick on this thing. Therefore, I don't take chances

[FIX] No More annoying Red | Blue Blink on Status Bar

ColorOS users with device decrypted or rooted should have Red blinking on status bar which is quite annoying. So here is the solution, I have patched SystemUI.apk which shouldn't display red blink.
Bonus: Upon request by few users I have also removed Blue Blink too which was supposed to be triggered when Hotspot is enabled.
The below zip file works for A20, A21 & A22. Download, reboot to recovery & flash. Enjoy
SystemUI_R2Pro_Patched.zip
Thanks @gt_ablaze for testing

There seems to be issues with the custom recovery, zip isn't getting installed. Only way to confirm that the zip is installed is to check /system/priv-app/SystemUI/ oat folder shouldn't be there.
Follow this, freshly boot into recovery then flash firmware, then install zip & flash magisk reboot. This is how other ppl did.
