Android 5 with working Xposed - How to? - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello there,
tried yesterday to install the xposed framework on unofficial CM 12 and CM 12.1 versions because of using xprivacy on this rom. Tried a lot of different xposed files, but had no success getting it work. Can anybody help me, or say if or how it works? I just want a Android 5 Version on my Note II with a working xprivacy on it. Had anybody success in installing this on his device?

Hello ,
First it depends of your android version : 5 or 5.1 ?
For android 5 you must install the official Xposed from here :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Download xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430.zip on your SDCard and install it with your recovery > then install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk .
For android 5.1 you must install the unofficial Xposed from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
Download xposed-sdk22-arm-20150514.zip on your SDCard and install it with your recovery > then install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk
I hope that can help you .

Think i have to try it again. Know the mentioned files, but what about this alpha4 file of xposed? Is this the newest xposed installer, or still a version for some selected devices?

The last time i used xposed, i bricked my phone. I was sure i followed the correct procedures in installing it but in my second attempt (after flashing stock firmware) it worked. Didn't know what that was about.

Tried XPosed and XPrivacy for Android 5.0 on my Note 2. Could install it and it seems it works, but after a self-reboot the sd-card is no more available. Rebooted the device by myself and it stuck at booting. Looks like 5.0 doesn't work that way.

Which are the bugs or this ROM?:good:
Hi, Dev.
I tried flashing your ROM, I got it working too. But there is some issue with few apps, They say "SD card is read/write protected"
2) Major problem is that, If i switch off or i try to reboot from power menu, Its a perfect boot loop. And if it boots after removing battery and trying lots of times all apps are gone, apps which are in data/app i:e user apps.
I flashed Kitkat CM11 and yours also both of the rom gave me this issue, I am a bit confused here coz i flashed ROM with CWM recovery, Is there any problem with recovery coz i did not find TWRP earlier, And now i flashed stock ROM somehow and m afraid to flash ROM till i can here something from any dev here.
Thank you.
internet not working
I tried all the ROM but i am not able to grt the net neither 2g or 3g .please sugggest whats wrong.

Anyone have 5.1.1 with xposed installed?

Does anyone have lollipop 5.1.1 installed with a successfully installed xposed framework?
I flashed 5.1.1 and it is cool. But my twrp recovery 2.8.6.0 fails to flash xposed. Twrp 2.8.6.1 will do it on the nexus 5, but that version doesn't exist for flo (nexus 7 2013 wifi). I was told that some earlier versions of twrp will also flash xposed framework. So if anyone has xposed installed in 5.1.1 on a nexus 7 2013 tablet, please let me know which twrp version you have running.
Thank you.
I have Lollipop 5.1.1 and xposed installed. I'm running TWRP 2.8.6, and I'm using Grogg's Way as my ROM. I was able to flash the xposed-sdk22-arm.zip and the xposedinstaller_3.0.-alpha.apk with no problems. Which xposed zip did you install?

All work fine!
Latest "Grogg's way" + ElementalX core, TWRP 2.8.6.0, xposed-sdk22-5.1.1-arm-20150514.zip + xposedinstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk
Goodluck!
Finally got xposed installed. I had the wrong version (64bit instead of 32bit arm). Used sdk22-arm-20150609.zip Works fine with xprivacy and gravitybox.
But, 5.1.1 is so laggy I'm going back to 4.4.4.

Hi!
"Grogg's way" - is AOSP rom, so the kernel is ElementalX-N7-4.01 for Stock/AOSP.
installed
rom; cm12, kernel; elementalx; installer; sdk22-5.1.1-arm-20150514, apk; alpha 4

Xposed Framework Results to Bootloop on Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML

After updating Zenfone 2 ZE550ML to the latest firmware version Z008_WW_2.20.40.130 I rooted my phone and everything went fine with normal boot.. But after that I tried installing xposed framework.bat file which rebooted my phone and then resulting in a bootloop..Tried to remove xposed framework but still stuck in the bootloop. So had to flash an older firmware and recovery and then updated to th latest version via OTA update..It used to work perfectly on firmware version Z008_WW_2.20.40.88 without any bootloop. I enabled usb debugging and everything that needs to be done but no luck.
Is there any other way to install xposed framework on my current firmware 2.20.40.130 without bootloop ?? Please assist.
I have a same error
Asus has released security patch at 01 Nov 2015. So I think Xposed need to update

Which version works? I've tried xposed-v78-sdk23-x86.zip with no luck, still getting bootloop, and I've reflashed firmware 3 times.
Nevermind, this morning I tried install xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip and it works, so I think rovo89 makes 3 variants for different OS. I assume:
- [5.0 only] Bootloop on ROMs where the vendor has merged a recent security fix from 5.1 (sdk21)
- [5.0/5.1 only] Backports of a few changes on Xposed that I had initially done for 6.0 (sdk22)
- [6.0 only] Fix XModuleResources.createInstance() API method (sdk23)

Hello Guys!
I got my brand new Xiaomi Mi5S. I have already unlocked it and installed newest rom from Xiaomi.eu
Now I wonder If I can safely Install Xposed module with all my addons? Won't that cause brick or sth?
I remember on my Xiaomi Mi Note Pro there was special modded file for Xposed.
Anyone tried?

I got mine for 2 months now.
I installed material design xposed and install the miui x64 version from
Download from :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
If you want a cool module, I recommand the MIUI TWEAKS 8 from the play store for less than 2€
Another useful module, try xMIUI https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=software.solarwarez.xmiui
It's similar to MIUI tweaks but has a few extra features.

Xposed on Nexus 5 and LineageOS 15?

So i recently re-installed Lineage OS on my old nexus 5 and i was wondering, how can i install Xposed on to it, with framework and app and all that? With the search results online i am not getting really far, i don't quite know what version to install , how to do it etc....
Note: i need Xposed specifically to install multiple custom watchfaces on a huawei watch GT2.
I tried installing a version, but it just reseted my phone, and when i check the Rooted sate of the phone i get "not rooted" or something like that.
I installed LineageOS via TWRP on the phone.
Can you guys help me out here? i did not root or install custom FW on a phone in a loong time and i am out of the loop of recent hacks and stuff.
Thanks in advance
