[Q] Rooting LG G3 T-Mobile - T-Mobile LG G3

Could someone please walk me through STEP BY STEP how to root my android? I've done a bit of research, and I've either found tutorials that users report no longer work, or I find a tutorial where users communicate with one another in a tech jargon that I can't follow; I'm new to the android world.
Any help or redirect to a thread that will help me would be much appreciated

This method here is by far the best and easiest way to root on the G3. It works on all firmware.

Ok, ok, ok.. So many of you are instantly going to jump on the new guy because this thread has probably been posted at least a million times today. Thing is, trying to find an explanation, an easy explanation, of how to root my HTC Hero G3, without using developers lingo is nigh on impossible. Would someone have mercy and please, for the sake of the Gods and my sanity.. HELP ME ROOT ME BLOODY PHONE??? Please
What do I need to download?
Can I still use the android operatin system after gaining root access or do I have to install a custom ROM?
Many many thanks in advance for any help or advice given.

Firstly its called the HTC Hero, the G2 is the T-Mobile branding not G3, why don't you go in the Hero section then the rom development sub forum, guides at the top in the wiki in plain english...
Advice appreciated man, I kinda thought I'd get someone telling me that. Thing is, I tried all three of the rooting guides up there and none of them work. Checked the USB Debugging box.. then windows searches for ADB, then my problems begin.

Explaining the root and flashing process to a noob

I'm hopefully going to soon be a Galaxy S2 owner and would like to install MIUI or Revolution. This is my first experience with flashing/rooting and am slightly confused with both the process and also the terminology.
Being a Mac owner I'm somewhat confused with what software to use. I have read about Heimdall but again I'm not sure as to the step by step process of how to work it. Also, could someone explain what clockworkmod recovery is and how to also install that?
Sincere apologies for noob questions.
Oh this is my first post so hello to all btw

That's a great start. Much appreciated.
Well it's all making sense now. I'm glad I have a few days before I get the SGS2 so I can read up on here.
One question I now have is,
I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate via bootcamp on my MacBook. Will this be ok to run in windows mode and use Odin and kies?

I don't think there should be a problem since i know someone who does exactly that and has no problems with the process.

Q's and help regarding Optimus Sol and rooting.

I, of course, searched around for the answer to these questions, but didn't find any - here or on the internet.
I spent a long time working on my custom theme/appearance, and have also considered rooting my phone (LG Optimus Sol) in order to be able to customize all aspects of it.
My questions:
1. Theme problem: Like I said, I spent quite a while on my theme, if I root my phone, will my theme and/or widgets be lost?
2. Rooting: I use Gingerbread as OS and would like to know which rooting program is better/safer: Gingerbreak or SuperOneClick?
3. Brick solution: I know the risks of rooting, and I would like to know if there is any chance to un-brick my Sol if the horrible thing happens.
I hope this thread doesn't get ignored. >.<
Have an awesome day.
Thank you in advance for the answers.

Of course, ASUS-Support won't encourage you to root, so they won't help you.
Don't forget: for EVERY Android device ever made, there is a way to root it. You just have to use the right method.
I looked on the internet, there are no specific root methods for your tablet, so you need a universal method.
Try SRSRoot, browse for it, download and install. Just try, it won't harm your device.
But before rooting don't forget: Are the proper drivers installed? Is USB-Debugging enabled?
Those 2 things must be done before rooting.
Hope this helps you with rooting your ASUS Fonepad.
SRSRoot - does not work
OneClicRoot - does not work
Framaroot 1.6.1 - does not work
Kingo Android root - does not work
we must looking for something else.
Rooting Asus Fonepad: http://fieznur.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/asus-fonepad-root-tutorial.html
Now, does anyone know when the damn thing will be available in the UK? Asus won't tell me. No-one will tell me. Or maybe someone's took a chance and bought from Germany or Taiwan...

Oh right, I guess botto00 will create root for 372 if asked politely. I suppose the second method (Cydia Impactor) is the same.
If I couldn't root 372 I wouldn't bother buying it.
Thanks for your posts. I hope there would be a possibility to root that device, soon.
I need a way to make a complete backup.
NEW ASUS Fonepad 7 (me372cg) (k00e)
are you tellin me ASUS is more sophisticated than Samsung devices?
Ähh I will say it so:
Samsung is good in repairing their devices. ... Other Manufacturers don't need to be that.
