Hello. I have just gotten my LG G4 and was eager to see if they had fixed the jackstick issue with voice mate getting activated beacuse it thinks it's a headset with mic and I tried my regular headset and it did the same thing and I am now wondering if this is due with my headset or LG has not fixed this.

Hi, recently my HD started giving me alot of problems
whenenver i call some one or if someone calls me, the other person cannot hear me and often complains of very low voice
even during normal voice recording i cannot record my voice at a decent level
if i use headset it works fine bt using inbuilt mic is not possible
this was not an issue before but only started recently

Hey all, I couldn't find a solution online, so thought should ask here.
So gurus, could i borrow ur brains here for a sec. The problem I'm facing is, sometimes sound from my g pad suddenly stops working, i mean no sound at all from the speakers, but starts working after a while or after a restart or if a skype call comes in and u receive it, then starts working again.
I'm thinking skype might be the culprit, I mean i havent tested it heavily, but last night either i was calling someone on skype and the otherside didn't pick up and call cancelled itself or was talking to someone on skype and then noticed after a while, the same no sound issue when i turned the screen on and what i did was bring up recent apps and clicked clear all and magically sound is back
The problem is, can't seem to find anyone else having this problem. And it seems intermittent, sometimes everything works and sometimes there's not sound when i turn the screen on and there are skype missed calls
sorry forgot to add, its an lg g pad 8.3 v500 20d, non GPe
and has got latest official 4.4.2(wonder why isnt there any 4.4.4 out there for this) and latest skype

i have LG g3 D855 sprint version.
i found the microphone not working during call but if i use speaker phone it works flawless even for video recording it is recording the voice.
except for normal call and voice recording the microphone not detect the sound or what i dont know.
i checked with other sound recorder also not sensing the sound but if i blow on the mic area it sences the sound.
what could be the problem?

This just started happening to me today out of nowhere. Were you able to resolve this issue? It had been working fine for 6 months prior.
I've same issue but inverse. My MIC does not work when in Speaker mode

Hey everybody,
I am a verizon G3 user who recently turned on HD Calling (VoLTE) that was installed OTA by an update. Ever since I turned it on, there is no sound coming from front speaker unless speaker phone is on (i cannot hear the person i am talking to unless speakerphone is on). The mic still works fine in both cases. Is this a known bug? Does anybody have any suggestions?

So as the title states, my microphone suddenly stopped working during calls, it works sometimes and when it does the voice is too low anyone with the same issue out there?
