S6 edge Roms on s6 - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6

Can you flash s6 edge Roms on s6 what will not work if it will work at all. Also T-Mobile Roms. Do they work on sprint? Possibly just a radio and kernel flash to get them working?

Bump. I'm currently on 920V (Verizon) where roms are interchangeable. Does anyone know if 920P follows the same suit?
Edit: Found my answer. For anyone who still has this question. They are interchangeable as long as you flash unikernel afterwards. However since 920P & 925P are compatible, it doesn't mean you can flash other roms (outside of Sprint) without the dev's verification. So keep checking OPs!

I installed 2 different tmobile roms to my g920p sprint thats gsm unlocked . But baseband is unknown and imei also. Have you had any luck getting a gsm rom on these cdma devices?

Roms

Does anyone know if rom for the korean version of this device would be compatible with those for sprint at&t or international.Cuz they all have the same hardware!!:silly:
Different camera, different modem, that's enough for a gsm rom not to work on the sprint phone.

4.3 Ported roms to t-mobile data loss issue

Hi guys i need some help from you guys and developers . As we have 4.3 roms ported to our device by very great developers but we all are facing data loss on these roms. when device screen goes off for few minutes and while making screen on i see no data connection on my device . Problem i came to understand that its a modem issue because 4.2.2 modems are not compatible with 4.3 software . my question is that can we safely flash modems from AT&T SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 OR I9505 devices . All roms and kernels of AT&Tand i9505 devices are compatible with our device. In past on my galaxy s2 T-mobile device i flashed modems from AT&T variant and they were working fine. may be this can resolve our data loss issue
Thanks for your help and advice ....
I believe that this time around the modems can't be flashed from different carriers correct me if I'm wrong

Not without breaking the phone, you are correct.
In past on my galaxy s2 T-mobile device i flashed modems from AT&T and verizon variant and they were working fine. It was the same issue when we upgraded . This was the solution to resolve data connectivity issue . And some developers also modified the modems to resolve the issues on Galaxy s2 to make them compatible .That's why i tried to share my past experience . But now we can not go ahead with this problem until we do not resolve this issue . we do not expect any update from T-mobile for our device in near future . only developers can help us to resolve hardware and software complexities .

Here is the deal, NONE of the custom zip file roms found here in XDA which we flash contain "MODEMS/RADIOS".
There is a good reason behind why they don't have modems. (brick at worst and soft brick at best if we flash modems)
The only firmwares/roms which contain MODEMS are those which we flash using ODIN, like stock roms which
are specifically designed for our M919 Tmobile Galaxy S4 phones and no other models.
These zipfile cwm/twrp flashable tmobile/at&t/i9505 roms for the most part can be interchangeable especially
if we flash a proper kernel for our specific phones but if you flash MODEMS you are just asking for a lot grief.
Good luck! (you just might need it)
I was just asking because it was possible . i was using galaxy note radio on galaxy s2 t-mobile SCH -T989
In this thread you can see galaxy note T879 radio for galaxy s2 and telus radio which was canadian variant and blaze 4g radio for galaxy s2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1895400
I used galaxy note radio on galaxy s2 . i do not claim its my idea but i give credit to those developers who made it possible on galaxy s2 when it was upgraded from gingerbread to ics. i am not like others who steal others roms and claim their own .
I was seeking help from our developers to look into and tell us the possibilities.
T-Mobile devices support different LTE bands than other carriers and the i9505, which means our hardware is different, specifically the modem. Pretty much everything else is the same, which is why we can run other carrier roms. Radio comms are another beast though...not saying it couldn't work, but its much lower level than the OS/ROM is.

Can Sprint modems and firmware be flashed on the US Cellular version of the S3?

I know only T-Mobile CM/AOSP roms and kernels saying D2LTE will work on my Galaxy 3. I heard some Sprint modems and firmware will work as well. What do I need to look for?

Flash Att Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge With T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Hello People,
I have an att samsung galaxy s6 edge that att unlocked for me and i am using it on t-mobile. Is there a way to flash the tmobile samsung galaxy s6 edge software on the att version of the device?
Did you ever figure this out? I'm trying to do the same thing with a regular S6.
Hm. I don't see why not, but I'm not as smart as some of the people on here lol. To me it makes sense if you can get a custom recovery on it, that you could flash a rom based on the T-Mobile firmware, or maybe the stock T-Mobile firmware. I'm not sure how having it SIM unlocked will affect it though, if at all.
You can flash a tmobile rom and it would boot fine, the issue is the modem. i have a unlocked sprint s6 edge and i use it for tmobile. i flashed a tmobile rom and everything worked besides my modem. so if you can find a way to flash the modem to the tmobile modem that would helps lots as i have been looking for a solution.
Video Calling??

So when you did this, were you able to use the Video Calling feature that is built into the S6 Edge? I have a Verizon S6 Edge unlocked and is currently using it on T-mobile, but i can't figure out how to get the video calling feature to work. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks

After a successful permanent UNLOCK

I Have successfully unlocked my t mobile edge+ for any GSM carrier. My questions is now that i have no restraints (Rooted/Unlocked) can i use any rom now. I know the CDMA versions verizon/sprint are off limit but other GSM versions? Or am I still burdened by the G928T model forever??
I have an ATT Edge+ that I use with T-mobile without wifi calling, looking for the same answer but apparently are some hardware differences that won't let you use ROMs from other versions of the phone.
You can use the international roms for the edge + just make sure when you click on them look for the rom that's compatible with the T model, you could also use the T mobile note 5 too

Umm you didnt need to do the carrier unlock to flash any "GSM ROM," only an unlocked bootloader was needed...
I am interested in knowing, which of these "GSM ROMs" were you looking forward to flashing, now that you're no longer hitched?
