I have a freedompop Samsung Galaxy victory and I want to root it. it has a custom freedompop ROM flashed on it and I want to know if I can root it the usual way for a Samsung Galaxy victory sprint phone or do I have to do it special way. Anyone here have any experience with Freedompop phones?

Just if anyone in the future can use this, towel root worked and although I couldn't find CWM for this phone, TWRP works well.

Does anyone have a hacked Sprint hotspot app. Or an app that's compatible with our phone, I've tried Wi-Fi tether but I keep getting the stated with errors message.

If you're rooted I've heard that the wifi tether for root users app works if you put the phone down as a galaxy nexus cdma/lte.

It be nice if hotspot hack work on LTE speed.
Cibc launch their mobile payment app for S3 and just wondering if any Note ll users here have tried it yet. Must be nice app to use and basically same function as google wallet and only difference is you can only use cibc credit cards with the app.

It's only available for the SIII right now and for unrooted devices.
Yup a No go for Note ll I picked up and swapped my regular LTE sim to suretap mobiXpress simcard unrooted and no luck. Hopefuly CIBC will add our phone to their list.

I'm new to android. I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 (M919)
I want to gain root access on my phone, but watching all the tutorial videos on YouTube has left me not knowing which program I should use to root. I just want to be able to install some apps, not the custom recovery(roms??)
Is there any good suggestions? Please help!

Please help! I recently changed my Sprint galaxy s4's Rom to the latest 5.0 Google play edition and lost direct calling functionality through the zenwatch via goggle now. Earlier I was on a 4.4.4 Rom and didn't have any problems but I really love the 5.0 Rom and would love to have that function back. Any help would be really appreciated!

Ive been looking high snd low fir a hotspot hack in a zip file or somethinb\rr
But i can not find anything besides a a tool apk or something. Anyone know if there is one ?
Why make it so difficult on yourself? Galaxy Tools and done.

In Sprint Android Development section, look at the Hybrid X-series ROM, 4th post. Has both odexed and deodexed hotspot hack you can flash that works on stock ROM. I'm using it myself and works great.
