To stop the battery full alarm from waking you up in the middle of the night - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

To stop the alarm when the battery hits 100%, go into sound settings and turn the slider for "Touch feedback & system" all the way down.
It also turns off some other sounds like the whooshing for uninstalls, but my alarm clock (Timely) still worked fine.

Alarm Clock Cant Turn On Screen

I flashed CM10 a few weeks ago and when using the stock alarm clock, about once a week, the alarm will go off, but I cannot turn on the screen to either dismiss or snooze the alarm. The screen will stay black, but the menu and back keys light up. The only way to turn off the alarm and get the screen back on is to hold down the power button until it reboots.
Has anyone else had this issue or can you recommend a better alarm that I can flash?

[Q] Alarm going off in background (after removal from the desk stand)

I have an I9300 with 4.1.2, but this issue started after the 4.1 upgrade...
My phone sits in a Samsung desk stand all night, which really turns it in to a great nightstand clock. When the phone is placed in the desk stand it automatically switches in to the Desk Clock mode, and when I remove it from the stand it automatically closes the Desk Clock view. Now, the problem I have been seeing is that if the phone is still in the stand when the alarm goes off, I can easily swipe to snooze or turn off the alarm. Some mornings, when the alarm goes off I pick my phone up out of the stand before I swipe to make a choice. When I do this, the swipe options vanish and the alarm continues going off for about 15 minutes. At this point, my options are restart the device, pull the battery, or shove it under my pillow before it wakes up the whole neighborhood.
It seems like the Desk Clock app takes over display of alarms, but it seems to have been broken in 4.1+ to not remain open if an alarm is actively going off.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this?

I don't use it myself so these are shots in the dark:
Do you get a notification when your alarm goes off? Could maybe use the pulldown menu to turn it off.
Does it get back to Desk Clock mode when you set it back down? That would allow you to snooze/turn off the alarm.
Put the phone on silence.

Alarm clock not working as it shoud on ADHD 6.6

Everytime I set alarm clock to wake up me in the morning I sleep through my alarm, because it's not working as it shoud. It makes no sound, and when I unlock the phone I see just alarm notification with dismiss button... Is it ROM bug or it's my fault?

Question Alarm clock not working

For some reason my work alarm isn't working. If I set an alarm for an hour or some other random time it works but seems to stop working at night while the phone is idle. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Are you using a 3rd party alarm app? Make sure battery optimization for the app is set to "do not optimize". That setting sometimes turns itself back to "smart optimization" after updates & my alarm quits working.
If that doesn't work, under battery optimization, menu (three dots), advanced, there's "sleep standby optimization" which puts apps to sleep when you sleep... Try turning that off.
