i bought z1 compact docomo
Android version 4.4.2
Model SO-02F
Version number 14.3.B.0.310
its used, i live in east europe, and its working fine except cant connect to my mobile internet, wifi is working properly, i can call, receive sms and so on...
Im pretty sure that i configured my APN properly checked that like 10 times, still not working.
So i thought, its not working because docomo preinstalled soft is blocking that.
So i think i need to flash my rom to not docomo, to some generic to make mobile internet work, what do you think guys? Should flashing my rom would help?
Can you guys help me, im kind noobish about all this flashing rom thing and i would need a step by step manual/tutorial.

So I received my Arc S today in the UK, and it's a French model - I knew it'd be a European model of some sort when I ordered, so that's fine.
But even though I've set the language to English, I'm still finding a few things in French and it seems like my UK network can't detect what phone I have, and I'm unable to get a data connection.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to flash a generic stock or O2-UK stock rom to it please? I used to have a HTC Sensation and have experience rooting and custom rom'ing with that. My current build number is 4.0.2.A.0.42.
Do I root and flash the stock firmware from this page?

So to build number 4.0.A.2.368, to be clear. Will that give me all the generic/UK stock options instead of French video services, Canal+ and Jeux Gameloft?! I really don't need a custom rom, in fact I want it to be as much like I've just bought it from a UK supply as possible and don't even need rooting or the bootloader unlocked at the end of it if that can be avoided.

Thanks! It doesn't seem to have a generic UK firmware - only Central Europe 1/2/3 without listing the difference - but I've emailed Wotanserver to see if they can advise.
Is their method safe, do you know?

EDIT: Solved the problem with an ICS LT15a Baseband. Works great with my carrier (Claro).

I've just bouth a LG Optimus G Pro F240S and i have some problems.
The phone is from another country and now im using it in Romania.
The phone was blockt and i've manage to deblocket to a servise to usit in my country...it workt but in service they swich my imei and i have another one that doesnt mach with the one from the back of the battery.
Last knight i've manage to make it back on the original one but..the same problems with the old imei and the original one are still there..i am losing signal and my 3g network is verry slow.
So i am asking...wath can i do to fix it?
If i flash the stock european version on these Korean version of the phone is posiblle to make it work?
Or i am beeging anywone that haves or had these problem and fix it please...please tell me how can i make it work normaly.

I have a custom rom on my tablet CyanogemMod and I just got a shared data sim from optus
Trouble is the data is not working
I have rung optus and they see it connecting to their network but I do not get any 3g/4G symbol and the internet is not working
Have gone through the steps with optus phone support in creating a new APN etc
Could there be something up with my custom rom?
If anyone can help id appreciate it
or id love to try to revert back to the original rom, I think I tried this once but it did not work
Bought the tablet from Kogan, so it had chinese language when I got it, would I need a chinese rom version ? ( sorry still learning about this )

What cm? official cm11 or unofficial cm12? if unofficial cm12 its no wonder if the list of apns still not updated

I have some issues with my LG wing phone, it's Korean version F100N20b. LM-F100N.
So, problem is when i drive with my car telefon always have very big problem to connect to the network. My call end every 2 min.
But when i don't move office or home everything works fine.
I have this problem after i do an update. I wonder if it's android 11.
What you think ?
I download a kernel for do an update myself with flashtool. Do you think it's possible to change my version in european kernel ?
