Well, time to talk about our babe. The box is very simple, to green the earth maybe, there is not much to talk about the box, here is some pictures:

Here is what insides the box:
We got 1 charger, 1 USB cable (6 ft ~ 1.8 meters, according to Google), and 1 Welcome Guide. Well, do we need a manual for a charger? Actually I haven’t read it but I think Tronsmart is very kind to provide us a manual for their charger.
Here is our babe alone:
Some tech specs:

The cable is solid, and long, about 1.8 meters which is really long to me. The quality of the cable is really high.
You guys can check out the USB connector:
And the MicroUSB connector:
Let’s take a closer look at our babe ports, here you can see 1 QC 2.0 port which can produce about 5V/2A or 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A , 2 VoltIQ port which can produce about 5V/4.8A (2.4A for each ports).
Compare to the ASUS QC 2.0 charger:
Time to get our babe to work. In this short review I will test this charger to charge my Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) from 9% to 100%, time will be calculate by the stopwatch on the screen.
You guys can check the pictures below, the charger is slower than original ASUS charger a bit at the first 70%, but at the total time to 100%, it win! It took about 1 hours and 18 minutes to completely charge my Zenfone 2 from 9% to 100%.
Let’s get started.
About 9 minutes to reach 21%.
About 21 minutes to reach 35%.
About 35 minutes to reach 50%.
About 53 minutes to reach 71%.
About 1 hours and 7 minutes to reach 86%.
About 1 hours and 18 minutes to reach 100%.
Final thought, this is really good QC 2.0 charger for its price, build quality is great and the price is really acceptable especial when ASUS is selling their charger for about $29.99 USD in the US.
Key features
Cheap price
3 USB ports for charging 3 devices at the same time.
Great quality
Main disadvantages
Non for now
You can buy this charger at Amazon for $19.99 USD. Link: http://www.amazon.com/Qualcomm-Cert...ck+Charge+2.0+42W+3+Ports+Wall+Travel+Charger

I have their quick charger with only 1 quick charging USB port and I'm also very satisfied with him. 15.9 $ on eBay..

@Tronsmart, is this charger have led ? and LED can changes color depend on it on normal charging or QC2.0 is active ?
I already try 2 QC2.0 charger. Aukey and LVSun. Sold my aukey, still have LVSun, now i want to try this tronsmart. Unfortunately, i only can get it on ebay/aliexpress, non local seller (indonesia). Take more than a month (if lucky).

@dasklney - In this test, was the phone connected to VoltIQ or to the QC2.0 port?

It was connected to QC2.0 port

Is charging mi power strip fast ?

I also see that you also have a mi power strip.
Since it provides charging at 5v_2.1 Amps.......so tell me
Does it also quick charge?
And what time it take to charge your phone from mi power strip.

I only monitored the Tronsmart Quick Charge only, when charging with Mi PowerStrip, it only shows normal charging, and I use Mi Powerstrip more often then quick charger.

I also just recently bought the [Qualcomm Certified] Tronsmart Quick Charge 2.0 18W USB Car Charger. I haven't tried it yet but based on your review I can't wait to start using it & see if it's as advertised. Thanks for sharing.

Finally got a chance to use the charger briefly today. Not sure about how closely it performed to specs but I've found an unexpected benefit - it works with my wife's ancient cell phone! We've tried many different car chargers and nothing's worked with her phone. So I can guarantee that it is indeed backwards compatible.

Is it compatible with Asus Zenfone 2 2gb z008 (ze550ml)?

Nexus Running low on battery? Ravpower powerbanks to the Rescue

Now I wasn't ever the type of guy to have spare batteries for my electronic devices because I always just kept a power bank in my bag for a quick charge. Also, the good thing is that I didn't have to turn off my device, remove the case, remove the cover, replace the battery, put it back together and then wait for a reboot.
I travel a lot. Different cities, lots of plane rides, layovers at airports (sometimes those charging stations are crowded and you always have those people that set there the ENTIRE time) or not enough plugs in your hotel room for all your devices.
I've always used Ravpower power banks because they're sturdy, good capacity and reliable. Best of all they have top notch customer service! They called me once after I bought a powerbank just to make sure everything was good with the device and everything was working as I expected.

First the dual output Ravpower 14000mah w/ led.
Part Number RP-PB13
Item Weight 10.2 ounces
Product Dimensions 4.8 x 0.8 x 3.2 inches
Two outputs:
1) 5v/1amp
2)5v/2amps
I've tried every electronic I have ranging from Galaxy s3, Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 10, Ipad 2, Ipad retina, Iphone 5, Clip+, Colorfly c3, Tralucent T1 amp, Arrow 4g amp digital cameras, ipods you name it it charged it. It can charge two devices at the same time thats the great thing about it.
What it comes with:
2 coiled usb adapter cables with a standard usb on one end and adapter end to fit all the other fittings for devices. The included fitting are
- 1 x Micro USB Connector
- 1 x Samsung 30pin Connector: Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 2,Galaxy Note
- 1 x Mini USB Connector : some cell phone, MP3, MP4, digital camera, and other with mini USB slot digital devices
- 1 x Nokia DC 2.0 Connector: Nokia cell phone with DC 2.0 port
It charges via a micro usb port and it takes about 8 hours to go from completely drained to full charged based on 3 cycles that I've tested. Also, it has a great slow discharge rate when its just on stand by and not charging anything. So it can sit for days - weeks and keep its charge.
To start charging a device you simply can use the supplied usb cables or ones that came with your device (mp3 player, phone or tablet) plug it in, press the power button and voila! A nifty feature is the auto shutoff when you disconnect the device so it isn't wasting its own charge. This is a great feature to conserve energy.
There are indicator lights that light up when the power button is pressed to check its charge.
1-light = <25% charge
2-lights = 25-50% charge
3-lights = 50-75% charge
4-lights = 75-100% charge
Next up is the
Ravpower Extreme 15000mah (triple output)
Part Number RP-PB11
Item Weight 13.4 ounces
Product Dimensions 5.9 x 0.9 x 3.2 inches
Item model number RP-PB11
Size 15000mAh
Color Black
Three outputs:
1) 5v/1amp
2)5v/2amps
3) DC output from 9v-12v
This thing is a BEAST. It can charge up to 3 devices and 1 being netbook.
It is larger but the benifits of it are amazing. It can also charge all of the devices like other powerbank but it has a 3rd output for netbooks/laptops/camcorders/gps.
It has all the different fitting for the usb ports.
- 1 x Micro USB Connector
- 1 x Samsung 30pin Connector: Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 2,Galaxy Note
- 1 x Mini USB Connector : some cell phone, MP3, MP4, digital camera, and other with mini USB slot digital devices
- 1 x Nokia DC 2.0 Connector: Nokia cell phone with DC 2.0 port
but it also has different plug ends for different laptops/netbooks (see above picture at the top left) for the 9v-12v output.
The 3rd output has a switch to choose between 9v or 12v from the 3rd output.
Like the other powerbank it has the auto shutoff feature when not connected to anything. The discharge rate of this is even better/slower when not charging anything compared to the first one.
Unlike the first one, this has a dedicated wall adapter that uses a laptop style plug to charge it. It charges A LOT FASTER than the other one. This charges from completely discharged to fully charged in 4-5 hrs.
Build Quality:
The buld quality on both is amazing. Nothing is loose, creaking or flimsy. Completely solid to the feel of it.

+1.5A Dual Android wall charger?

I recently picked up an Anker dual car charger (link). It has two ports labeled Apple, the other Android. Both ports can supply 2.4A, for a total of 4.8A.
When I charge my phone from the Android side I get very close to 1A, but when I use the Apple side that goes down to around 500mA. To note, I used the same cable and only one port was used while testing. I used Battery Monitor Widget to track the charge rates.
Either side is strong enough to charge our phones, but it would be great if they both charges at full charge rates. So now I am looking for a wall charger and ideally I would like a dual port charger that can charge two Android devices at over 1.5A. I know we can't use 1.5A but it will future proof the chargers for a while, or will work with tablets.

Maybe look at getting a powered USB hub? I know the 2 I have at home can supply more than the 500mA USB2 spec as they've back powered my raspberry pi with a hdd attached before.
from my limited research, apple and android phones use different methods for signaling AC charging.
Android phones like to have the data pins in the USB cable shorted to each other to signal the phone for AC fast charging.
Not sure what Apple does, but it's not the same. That's why there are two different ports on the charger. Android ports have the data pins shorted together.
On a side note, you can also buy "charging only" cables on amazon that do the data pin shorting inside the cable. this may let you use your android phone with the apple labeled USB ports.

This is correct. Apple devices want to see some combination of 2V and 2.8V on the data +/- lines to signal wall adapter charging. They do it this way because it allows the charger to tell the device what amperage it's capable of delivering (500mA, 1A or 2A) which is pretty cool.
It's been my impression that even using an charging only cable/adapter an Apple charging port will only give you 500 mA.
For what it's worth I recently emailed Anker about this and they said as much. I don't have an appropriate cable or charger to test it on. But Anker also told me they will be releasing new chargers in December that feature their smart charging port which detects what type of device you've attached (Apple, Samsung or generic Android) and then behaves accordingly. I just ordered one of their external battery packs (Astro3) which has one of these ports for 2.1A plus 2 x 1.5A Android ports. A similar AC charger would be nice if you can wait.

S8/S8+ Power Delivery compatible chargers

When I plugged the S8+ into the MacBook 12's PD brick, it shows "cable charging". I thought the S8+ doesn't support PD. Today when I tried to use it with the rMBP USB-C PD brick, it activated Fast Charge. So the S8+ supports PD after all.
My USB-C 5V/3A portable battery and the Pixel XL / 6P bricks can't activate fast charge either.
If you know any other PD chargers that works with the S8/S8+, please share.

I can confirm that this Aukey USB C Car Charger with Power Delivery works. I got this for the wife's car for her Pixel, but my S8+ also comes up as fast charging when I connect it.
This reddit post implies that in addition to the QC 2.0 fast charging (and since QC3 and 4 are backwards compatible any QC charger will work) it can also negotiate 5V at 3A over USB-PD, however (non-PD) Type-C USB charging can provide 5V @ 3A so it's more likely it's using that rather than USB-PD per se (though for all intents and purposes the end result is the same with regards S8+ fast charging) as long as the charger provides it.
Ive read that qualcomm 2.0 os basically 3 amps. So in theory any charger that provides 3amp output should work as fast charge
Nice find, thanks for the heads up (and a shame I don't seem to be able to find this one in the UK).
Do bear in mind the phone will draw a maximum 15W (either 9V @ 1.67A over QC2 or 5V @ 3A over USB Type C) even if the charger can provide more.
I assure you that the Flux Charger would be the best portable charger for your S8/S8+. One of my friends uses it for charging on the go. Also it provides fast charging.
How does this differ than Anker QC3 , other than type C;

The phone doesn't actually use USB-PD either, but can fast charge using USB Type C, but it's often USB-PD chargers that gives that. USB-PD is more future proof for other devices, but right now there's no need to change your existing QuickCharge chargers or powerbricks.

Not exactly. With QC 2.0 the power supply can output 5, 9 or 12 volts, the phone will tell it what to output based on the battery level.. so if it's about completely dead it'll ask for 12 volts and as it gets closer to full back off to 5 volts. You need a power adapter that's compliant for that to work.
I received the Trianium charger over the weekend, it does fast charge off the USB-C port. One odd thing I've notice though is if I put my phone in my car mount while the charger has power, it goes into cable charge mode. Unplug and plug the other end back into the charger and it's in quick charge mode. Now if I put the phone in the mount before the charger gets power it works fine.
I recently got myself the AUKEY 27W Dual USB-C Port Car Charger. This is a USB Type C charger (and does not support USB Power Delivery) and with the built-in/attached USB-C cable it fast-charges my S8+ with the 5V at 3A that USB Type C allows for. The other port is a (non-USB-C and non-QuickCharge) USB charging port that can provide up to 2.4A.

Good Wireless Charger?

Has anyone found a good, reliable wireless charger for their G7 yet? (My cheap $15 charging stand isn't cutting it and I'm about to whip it against the wall).
I've been using this one by Anker, charging it overnight. Takes about 2 hours to fully charge from about 30% to 100%
No issues with it yet but only have had it about 2 weeks now.

Thanks! I have about 4 older Samsung charging pucks. What's strange is that two work fine, but the other two don't charge my G7 at all. (I'm sure it has something to do with the USB cable and/or plug that I'm using).

Bear in mind that you have to use the supplied cable, along with your o.e. charger for the Anker stand. The port on the back of the stand is a micro usb, not a usb-c.

G7 will say fast charging on a 10W wireless charger but LG says the phone supports 15W for true fast charging. Belkin and a handful of others make true 15W fast wireless chargers.
Watch out for off brands as many will say 15w but are actually 10w.
Im using a mophie here and it says fast wireless charging at 10w.

Good call on this charger. I picked it up on your recommendation after seeing the price before I even owned this phone and I can confirm it works great. Anker makes solid products so the price makes it even better. Thanks!
Another vote for the Anker Charger
I've been using the Anker model A2523 wireless charger with no problems. It doesn't charge super fast, but I use it for overnight charging, so that's not a problem. While charging, the battery never goes above 30 degrees centigrade, which is 2 to 4 degrees cooler that when I was using the original LG plug in charger that came with the phone! The Anker uses a Micro USB port for power, so I also got a USB-C to Micro USB adapter, so that if I need to recharge quickly, I can just unplug the LG charging cable from the adapter which is plugged into the back of the Anker charger and plug it into the phone. I think that's the best solution until more USB-C wireless chargers are produced.

No, it just states it's charging wirelessly. It's not too fast but perfect for overnight without roasting the phone or battery.
just got the UMIDIGI Q1 , and it says fast wireless charging.
Have some others scattered around the house that is 5w, like choetech t513
I have quite a few Anker products, so when I was looking for a bedside wireless charger, I was almost sure I would end up with them. However, after researching on Amazon for about an hour, I ended up buying the Yootech Wireless Charger (the goofy company name made me think that it might be a cheap rebrand, but it's been a rock solid device). I can say for the LG G7 that this is an amazing charger (although it supports a wide range if you or someone else might want to use it with a different device; especially an older one) that comes with an impressive AC adapter (it doesn't get warm while in use, something that sometimes happens with more compact adapters). It does use MicroUSB instead of USB-C and maxes out at 10W instead of 15W, however it tops up my phone from 20 - 30% to 100% in less than two hours so it's a keeper for me and allows me to save my included charger specifically for travel.
I got the BlitzWolf BW-FWC4 from Amazon for €15. Fast wireless charging thanks to QI-EPP compatibility. Works flawlessly through my Voia case. Charges almost as fast as wired. I'm using the original wall charger to power it.

OnePlus 7 Pro USB Cables/Chargers

Hi Folks,
Didn't see a unified thread so why not make one
Cables I've tested so far, all seem good quality, none allow Warp charge sadly :

If anyone has found Warp charge compatible cables than aren't only 1m please let us know. Don't really want my phone sitting at the edge of my desk as the charger is plugged in on the floor and the default cable is ridiculously short, I wouldn't even care if OP had to make it stupidly thick, give us a longer cable (That's what she said)
Official OnePlus Flat Dash (Apparently have been used with Warp Charging) cables 1m/1.5m

£ 9.37 for 2 of them with China Post Tracked Delivery.
Just ordered 2 of the 1.5m cables so will report back on them.
You tried these on the stock Warp charger?
ali express is the place that takes a few years to ship, right? lol Cheap but long wait times. I guess that can be a fair trade off if you're not in a rush.

Got mine in 10 days via aliexpress even though it was estimated to be 25 days+
Flat dash charge cable 150cm doesn't work with warp.
When connected to phone it says "Warp Charge" but current drops to 2000ma. Changing to warp cable 100cm instantly rises current to 5000ma+
I just ordered the 6T mclaren edition 100cm one from aliexpress. description says that one supports warp but the red one does not.
Dash Charger Cable, TITACUTE for OnePlus 6 Charging Cable 2 Pack Durable Nylon Braided Fast Charge Type-C Cable 6.6FT Data Sync Charging Rapidly for OnePlus 6T 5 3T Warp Charge for OnePlus 7 Pro Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FJNH8P6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BunaDbG71WK06
These worked on all 3 of our 7 Pros. Warp charging works. Bought 2 of them.

Did someone test this cable?

Thats not true. I have 150cm dash cable from Ali and it triggers Warp Charge logo but ampere is 2000-3000ma.
I have MANY very high quality cables from blitwolf, anker, baseus, choetech etc. None of them works with warp charge.

I've had 3 orders in a row which got from China to the UK in a fortnight so it's not that bad, especially for the price.
@djsubterrain What do you think of the following:

Never used them as I'm in the UK so I couldn't really provide an opinion tbh. Seems like a reseller though just like the sellers on AliExpress, can't imagine it being official in any way.

These people are supposedly next door in Holland.

Gets about 4A on Ampere. You won't get much more than that unless you have a seriously fat cable......volt drop is the issue. To get more you need a much greater surface area of cable.....
Has anyone found a really long (like 5m) cable that works with warp charge?

After trying many hq china cables, and 4 diferent oneplus cables from aliexpress ("genuine") I bought 150cm original cable from official reseller and now everything works. Warp charge with 5000+ma.
Those experiments are not worth the money, I've spent nearly triple value of original one.
@cd993
It will not work. On 5m cable You will drop voltage to 3,5-4v.
