[Q] T3 (D5503) not supported by MyPhoneExplorer? - Sony Xperia T3

Hi guys,
I tried backing up my old Galaxy S2 with MyPhoneExplorer and worked like a charm. Then wanted to restore the data to my Xperia T3 (D5503) but MyPhoneExplorer just can't connect to it. I tried installing ADB drivers for Xperia TX via Flashtool driver pack 1.8 but that didn't help either. Then found some generic ADB drivers suitable for most Android devices and installed them, still no connection. Then I found this site http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/ and discovered that there are no specific ADB drivers for T3. So my question is, can't MyPhoneExplorer can't because it doesn't support T3 or because there are no ADB drivers for this device?

ADB and windows 7 x64

I have finally upgraded my system to Windows 7 x64.
installed ABD and with test "adb devices" I got the (long) number, so ADB installed well.
But I can't install with fastboot. When Arc is connected it gives "waiting for devices"
I downloaded the official SE driver (http://developer.sonyericsson.com/wportal/devworld/downloads/download/sonyericssonxperiaarcxperianeoxperiaplaydrivers?cc=gb&lc=enbut when I tried to install this via Windows it don't recognize it as a driver, so it still don't work!!
( I used Adb a lot times with Windows XP without any problem)
Can someone help?
kind regards
Vintiem
Have a look at first post in this thread - have you copied the two files?

Thank you but as I said I have this
number XXXXXXXXXXXXXX fastboot that means your phone successfully connected.
Its the S1 Boot fastboot driver. But when I let search Windows for this driver in my specific map where I downloaded the Official SE one, Windows says there's no driver, it can't be installed. This is my problem
I hope someone knows how to install this.
thanks
I think i had used one of the links to drivers found on the forum..
Don't exactly remember where i got it from.. I had the same problem with my Windows 7 64 bit .. Think the drivers a bit buggy..

Flashtool drivers problem

Hi everyonen, i just hard resetted my pc and just installed back flashtool 0.9.5.
I installed the driver that were in its driver folder, i also let pc companion install them but everytime i connect my Arc S (Debug USB ON and MSC), flashtool dosent reconize my Arc cause of the driver, infact if i check the device connected to pc, the arc is shown as without driver. so i tried to manual install them from it and it failed. few months are passed since first time i did it did i forgot something?
Just plug in your arc, go to your Flashtool folder and install them straight from there [With your device connected]
Kudos!
already did, also through pc companion and manual but i continue to get this
15/011/2012 10:11:26 - ERROR - Drivers need to be installed for connected device.
15/011/2012 10:11:26 - ERROR - You can find them in the drivers folder of Flashtool.
Now when its on it reconize him, but when i turn it into fastboot mode to flash the kernel it gives me the error again
Could someone post the download link for the latest flash tool?

So I'm gonna try and root an LT18i. Do I install the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, Xperia neo, Xperia PLAY, .... drivers and Flashmode and Fastboot drivers? Also, I heard that for flash tool to work, PC Companion and other Sony applications shouldn't be present on the PC. Correct?

Download latest version of flashtool. During installation, scroll down and make sure you select installation of fastboot drivers. That should work. I had a nightmare of a time trying to get my phone detected in fast boot mode. This method worked for me.

This thread helped me when I was having problems a couple days ago... you may have an incomplete .inf file for Xperia.

Try this, download and install latest flashtool. Go to the installation directory, find a folder called drivers and run the exe "flashtool drivers". Scroll down and select Xperia Z AND FASTBOOT DRIVERS. Reboot PC and see if your PC detects your phone in fastboot
Also keep in mind, to have adb running, enable Android Debugging on your phone.

[Q] Xperia ZL (C6502) USB Debugging connection problem

Hi everyone.
I was having a problem regarding usb debugging connection of the Xperia ZL C6502. I was using Win 7 64-bit. My problem is that under Device Manager, it shows C6502 (refer to attachment below). I uninstalled it and let it reinstalled, but still windows was unable to find ANY driver for it. I already installed the Google Drivers and ADB Universal drivers, even had Sony PC Companion installed to latest version (to date) too. Even that do not help as it was still unable to correct the problem. But strange thing is, when connected with usb debug off, it was working with proper driver installed, displaying as Xperia ZL in Device Manager. The same with Flashmode (SEMC Flash Device) and Fastboot mode (Android ADB Interface).
I was wondering if it could be the fault of my Windows system or that there is some solutions that I've overlook. Hope any devs or gurus could help me with this. I really need to solve this problem ASAP. Thanks in advance guys!
Edit:
[Device specs]
Sony Xperia ZL (C6502)
Android JB 4.2.2 | Firmware 10.3.A.0.423
Umm.. Anyone? I have searched high and low in the other threads even I tried Google, but still I can't seem to solve this problem. I've even brought myself into the solutions for Nexus devices, I tried the solutions but it seems that my problem is not solved. Oh please don't tell me I have to send it over to Sony
RE: xperia zl usb driver
I think that you have not done enough research...
anyways I got in the same problem today..
to solve the issue follow this steps:
1. download usb driver from this linkit is same for Z & ZL) [remove spaces it is not allowing me to post link]
h t t p : / / developer . sonymobile . com / downloads / drivers / xperia - z- driver /
2. unzip the drive file
3. right click on C6502 in device manager select update driver
4. n from that select file from my computer & select the driver folder...
5. go to eclipse -> window -> open perspective -> devices n check
Okay, I've did like you suggest, but Windows was unable to find any driver.
I've started up eclipse and do as you said, but (refer to attachment) I was unable to find the "devices".
What am I doing wrong? Arghh... I really need to root this phone, so that I can unlock the tracking feature or some security stuffs so that I can retrieve my phone when it got lost or stolen. Anyway, thanks for you help aks0020
re:ZL usb debugging
to see the devices you can also go to DDMS...
but first u need to install that driver successfully...
I suggest you to retry the driver installation keep phone connected with usb debugging & Allow mock location options on
After successful installation u should see new driver in device manager as shown in attached snaps....
Problem Solved, or so it seems..
Okay, stayed up whole night reinstalling a clean copy of Windows 7 64-bit, finally I am able to make Windows 7 recognize my Sony Xperia ZL (C6502) when connected in USB Debugging mode. Yup it is connected properly now, compared to earlier. Just a little patience and some determination
Apparently, I've followed aks0020's suggestion to turn on Mock Location as well, and perhaps having a 'clean' Windows 7 installation helped to correct this problem. Maybe earlier my Windows 7 has faulty drivers database
Anyway, problem is solved, I can finally root my Xperia ZL. And for those curious, can refer to the attachment below :victory:

Go to ''device manager'' in your computer; see if your device drivers are normal; even if it is, I would recommend a complete reinstall of all drivers and programs xperia related. Tell me, are you using Windows 8? If yes, you should now that Windows 8 doesn't install drivers correctly, at least flashtool drivers.
