Q&A for [ROM][LOLLIPOP 5.1][UNOFFICIAL] AICP 9.0 for SM-T805
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [ROM][LOLLIPOP 5.1][UNOFFICIAL] AICP 9.0 for SM-T805. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

Not a question just a warning to others....
It would seem that trying this rom has wiped my EFS folder and I didnt have a backup
Fellow SM-T805'ers you have been warned.
P.S. if anyone has any fixes/suggestions I am open.

I've said it once, ive said it a million times, always make a backup BEFORE messing with roms.
I don't understand why this simple thing is always ignored. :banghead:
Is it a total wipe, what gave you lost IMEI?

Only wiped data, cache's and system for the install. But when things were not working I went back to official Samsung, then started to realise my mistake.
Have found a few guides, but nothing seems to work for my 805. with the guides being aimed at Samsung phones.

New Build @ Thermskin @ 14.08
Data works great

AICP install feedback on SM-T805
OK, I just wiped my SM-T805, flashed AICP and the GApps Mini. Here is my feedback, but not before my great thanks for the work.
- When getting to the initial SIM unlock screen, I see the message "There's an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details"
- SIM unlocks and the radio icon shows I also have data - more tests on this later
- Connect to WiFi - OK on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands
- Radio communication OK confirmed by receiving the two-steps authentication SMS from google
- Disconnected from WiFi to confirm that data works - OK
- Pairing my LG Watch - initially OK - see below
Problems:
- Bluetooth - Powerbeats2 wireless pairing required several attempts and now they only handle media and not calls. This is a very big issue for me. How can I help fix this?
- Bluetooth - LG Watch lost connection when Powerbeats finally paired. A factory reset fixed it.
- CyanogenMod Themes Showcase do not work - I only have the message "Item not found" and the "retry" button which does nothing when clicked
I may come back here as I'm in the process of restoring applications on my tablet.

Is the new build fixing the bluetooth handset connection problem?
Previous version did not handle the bluetooth connection to the bluetooth earphone. Is this new build fixing it?

For what it's worth, I always get the "There's an internal problem..." error message whenever I flash my SM-T700, and it's wifi only.

Hey mate you flash 9.0 flash 10.0 from AICP Website then search KLIMTWIFI download and clean install

Previous version already had data, AFAICT. So I suppose this should also have data.

Thanks for the advice, however...Sorry, I forgot to mention that I haven't had any trubs at all after flashing (the correct ROM for my device), just the inexplicable error message. I've flashed 6 or 7 different ROMs from different devs and always see that so-called "error" so I think it's a Samsung thing?
BTW I'm currently using
aicp_klimtwifi_lp-10.0-NIGHTLY-20150813
and I love it. No FCs, lots of great features...of course I don't have to worry about phone stuff. In fact I *delete* the below folders/files after flashing every new ROM. For some reason the "custom" ROMs always include telephony apps for my wifi only device [emoji34] I don't know why. I think I'll start a thread on that subject.

Oh thanks man I might wanne try to do that thanks

Last week I went abroad for my work. I had the latest AICP installed on my tablet. When there, I didn't manage to get it subscribe to local operators in roaming mode. I then reflashed the original ROM from the backup I did before installing AICP and the phone logged-in into the GSM network. Is that possible that this ROM has a roaming problem? Does roaming work for you?
Trimis de pe al meu SM-T805 folosind Tapatalk

Low framerate in games
I'm not exactly sure if I should even post this as a Q&A, but yeah.
Anyways, I installed AICP with factory reset, reinstalled all application through google play, no backups at all.
All of my games (Cytus, Deemo, Dynamix, and RR+) runs at a low framerate/choppy, however when I touch the screen, it runs smoothly without any problems
Ex: Whenever I get to the "intense" parts of a song, it runs smoothly without any frame drops at all, but whenever I get to the part where there's no notes, (and I don't touch the screen during that time), it will run at a low framerate until I get to the "intense" parts again.
I have tried :
Rebooting the device
Setting CPU min.freq and max.freq to 1900MHz
Closing all running application
No, battery saver mode is disabled
Currently running latest version of AICP with latest gapps, no custom kernel, not F2FS

It will continue to write to the file as long as terminal is open and when you experience the bug, it will catch it. When you reboot you should have a nice text file for uploading to the thread
*** If you are getting errors playing Media Files or are seeing multiples of the same image or Grey items. This is "Ghosting", for some reason(what/why this is is unknown to me). The Fix:
Go to Settings/Apps/All/scroll down to Media Storage, and Clear Data. Reboot, and Scan your media again. Depending how much you have will determine how long it takes. This will happen again when rebooting, maybe not the first or second reboot, but it'll happen again

Great bit of info put together by unit_vector
unit_vector said:
I have consolidated some information regarding frequent issues with the most recent nightly releases. Hopefully someone finds this useful, since I've dealt with most of them myself and I see someone ask about these things daily. If any of the info here is wrong or misleading please don't hesitate to correct me (just kidding, I know you won't)
GPS
-When the option was added to use an external GPS it broke the default source to be undefined. Go to "System Settings-> Location Services-> GPS Source" and make sure "Use Internal GPS" is selected.
-Some other update changed something with the permissions of the location services settings. Uncheck and recheck all the options on the above screen to force it to ask for the proper permissions again.
4G LTE/Wireless Data
-Currently you need to reboot after installing for the first time or upgrading to a new nightly in order to get any data signal.
-Make sure you are aware of the difference between the service providers' terminology and the "real"/CM terminology (AT&T 4G is actually HSPA+, AT&T 4G LTE is actually 4G).
-Go to "System Settings->More->Mobile networks" and make sure LTE is selected under Network Mode.
-Go to "System Settings->More->Mobile networks->Access Point Names" and verify versus known good LTE APN settings.
-You may have lost your IMEI. "Check System Settings->About Phone->Status". If your IMEI shows 0 you may have to follow the instructions in the IMEI recovery thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1801997. After restoring your IMEI you may still need to do additional steps to restore LTE. To avoid this headache back up your IMEI before you lose it using the above thread. Make sure you try just rebooting first to see if that fixes the missing IMEI.
Wi-Fi
-Some people report problems with Wi-Fi signal or connection. Try going to "System Settings->Wi-Fi->Menu/Advanced" and un-check "Avoid Poor Connections".
Volume/Sound Problems
-Audio drivers are currently a work-in-progress. Updates are still coming all the time.
-If you have no sound try turning the volume all the way down then up again for alarms, calls, notification, etc.
-Try re-selecting your ring tones in the app or clearing cache and/or data for that app.
-Call volume is known to be a bit loud now.
-There seems to be an issue with Google Now voice recognition mic volume. Try talking in to the noise cancellation mic (top).
-If your phone is not speaking Google Now results or street names in Navigation properly make sure you are using English (US) in the language settings (other languages/nationalities are currently not supported).
Camera/Gallery
-Swipe to gallery feature was "broken" by the addition of pinch to zoom. To get it to work swipe outside of image and buttons (in the grey area). **Reverted and reportedly fixed in 9/10**
-There is currently no option to store to external SD (yet).
-The built in gallery does not sync to Picasa. This is a known bug.
Battery Life
-Battery calibration is wiped after first installing or upgrading. Wait a full cycle before trusting percent reported.
-Install BBS http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1179809 to track alarms and wake locks.
-Battery use after clearing caches after upgrading is high. Wait til it is finished rebuilding before gauging drain.
-Other kernels give more control over battery and performance. You can try those but don't report any other bugs here if you do.
Screen Flicker
-Has improved recently but can be seen occasionally, particularly with 3rd party keyboards or graphics intensive apps.
-Going to "System Settings->Developer Options" and choosing "Disable HW Overlays" fixes the flicker at the expense of performance.
USB Storage
-There is no UMS (Generic USB Mass Storage) mode by default on our phones. You may need to install MTP drivers or a different OS that supports it. There are apps http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1711009 that allow UMS access but there are drawbacks.
-If you followed any of the procedures in the IMEI thread and did not properly revert to MTP mode you may need to do so before being able to access your storage via USB.
Home button wake
-Going to System "Settings->Performance->Processor" and increasing the minimum CPU frequency from 384 to 486 is reported to fix it.
64GB+ SD Cards
-CM will not directly support the exFAT format due to licensing restrictions
-You can format as FAT32 (with the restriction of not being able to have files over 4GB each)
-Not sure if it is supported at the moment, but in the future you should be able to format as ext (fixes the 4GB file problem, but makes the card unreadable by Windows without special tools)
Anything gapps related involving non-recommended gapps
-For example problems with text messaging when using inverted gapps
-Use recommended gapps.
Anything system related involving non-CM kernels
-Use the default kernel.
Installing/Upgrading
When updating from Nightlies MAKE SURE you are downloading the CM10 zip file. The CM9 weekly files show up in the same list.
The M flagged zip files are the same as every other nightly, except care is taken in the days/week before releasing the M edition to not introduce any new features into Nightlies that might break the system. This means that if you flash only the M files you are less likely to run into "show-stopping" bugs. After the M edition is released developers will continue adding new features to the Nightlies that may or may not result in instability.
The recommended nightly upgrade procedure should be:
-Backup/Nandroid
-Format /system (under Mounts and Storage)
-Wipe cache
-Wipe Dalvik cache (under Advanced)
-Install Nightly ROM zip
-Install gapps zip
-Reboot System
You may be able to get away with only:
-Backup/Nandroid (not technically required, but you're a crazy-pants if you don't)
-Wipe cache (It looks like dalvik-cache is included in the /cache partition on our phones - it isn't for all phones - so a /cache wipe should cover Dalvik as well. I'm no expert though, so don't take my word for it if you have problems NOT wiping Dalvik cache specifically)
-Install Nightly Rom zip
-Reboot System
Apps Force Closing/Other Strange Behaviour That Other People Are Not Reporting
-Try running Fix Permissions from recovery
-After backing up, try a Factory Reset combined with the above flashing steps to see if the error occurs on a clean system (Factory Reset does not wipe/format your SD card(s), only erases all apps and app/system data
Anything system related involving non-CM kernels
-Use the default kernel.

First of all, thank you for trying to do this! I don't think that the herd will care and they will continue to clog up the development thread, but you're trying and that definitely counts for something.
Do we have a current bug list that isn't just a bunch of "me too!" and random one off bugs? I'm talking about things that are consistent across all users who have properly installed? I think a well maintained list would be beneficial to the CM team (read Steve) rather than having them cull through the steaming 100 page pile of pure fetid "awesome".
I've read that entire thread up to this point but I've been trying not to engage too much due to the state of things over there. But here is my small and likely incomplete list of verified bugs at this point. Please help add to it with valid citations. I don't want to put things onto the list until they are verified by at least two users who can state the issue clearly in a post. I will try to keep this updated but please feel free to rip it away from me and keep it in tip-top shape.
Tethering does not work in either WPA or WPA2 modes (but it does work in insecure mode) [1, 2, 3, 4]
A2DP isn't working [1]
Camera focusing bug (that is known and is going to be fixed upon next build) [1]
LTE in Canada seems to be a common complaint. [1,2]
MTP not working for Mac users. [1,2]
Picasa sync doesn't work [1]
So since this is the Q&A thread, I have two questions:
What bugs have I missed? (please provide a single post link as a citation)
Whats the best way to find out when/where to find the latest gapps builds? I always find them from fellow forum users posts but it seems to me that they have to originate somewhere and I'm less than clear on that process.

Can you help quantify this? Its been working just fine for me. Can you run GPS Test to determine how many satellites are in view, in use, and your accuracy? Beyond that, can you elaborate what symptoms you are referring to by it "worse"?

Well for some reason. It takes a while to get a signal after a reboot. I know on stock or aokp it wasn't like that. I'd get a lock in 3-5 seconds. Any ways. once it gets a lock. Like 10 seconds later it loses signal and it comes back almost instantly.
Also, Even when I use the navigation app it freezes for a couple of seconds and the it goes back to normal. It's weird. I tried using gps fix but it doesn't fix the problem.
Edit: just ran gps test. I have 17 satellites in view and only using 9-10.

Well I don't want to sound too callous here, but 10 seconds is plenty fine for a lock. I guess I'm more patient than some folks, but at this point, it seems like a very minor issue. I do wonder if it was even "locking" in AOKP or if they just institute a lower threshold of accuracy to be designated as "locked". (Pure conjecture on my part, I could be wrong).
Using 9-10 is absolutely normal. Seeing as how you have a 12 channel receiver in your device, using 10 is great. You should be accurate to within 10 feet within a few seconds of starting up. Also, taking longer after a reboot is normal. There are a lot of different start-up "states" for GPS based on how long since the last lock and things like the phone being power cycled.
I've noticed on the 7/20 build, the play store link in the top right corner of the app drawer doesn't work. You have to actually select the shortcut from the app list.
EDIT: Seems to be an intermittent thing.
Are there plans to return universal search?
Has anyone found a way to transfer data (contacts, call log, mms log, data usage, etc.) from stock rom to CM10? Whenever I try (through TB) to restore data, i get an error saying "android.process.acore has stopped working". I did a search and made sure the "restore system data" option was selected in preferences both when i backed up and when I restored. I've also tried AppExtractor but that has done nothing. I've tried turning off auto sync and removing google account prior to restoring, all to no avail.

The link in the top right of the app drawer works just fine for me. On the 7/20 build. Which gapps did you install? I'm using the 7/16 build of them.
All I can say is that the GPS, for me at least, is AMAZING, actually even better than stock

Well that's why I compared it to aokp and stock. Even after a cold boot the gps still came on and locked within 4 seconds. On cm10 its much longer. And like I said alot of times it can't keep a lock. It loses the signal and gets it back 10-15s later. It's nothing serious. Just annoying since I use it very often (taxi driver)

1) auto focus and camera itself works perfect for me, after applying the flashable fix though, however it force closes if you try to change the picture size now and then
2) phone app force closed a couple of times, once on MTP connection and once with speaker on.
3) tethering work for me.
4) lockscreen custom background dosent work if you have a different homescreen wallpaper
5) soft key lights turn off if you try to change the screen brightness(changing the brightness to auto will fix it though)
6) volume rocker work perfect
I am om CM10_20120720 build, Gapps_20120720, flashed with CWM 5.8.4.5. I had quite good number of unsuccessful attempts when tried to flash with CWM 5.8.4.7 (ext sd dosent show up in CWM recovery)
Also restored to stock rom with a nandroid on all CM10 builds

Good overall with a few issues
Just flashed my ATT S3 with the preview build, awesome overall, so much faster than TouchWiz.
Having a few issues tho:
1) camera is borked (app was erroring then disappeared?)
2) gmail doesnt sync properly (worked fine with stock rom)
3) exchange activesync doesnt work (worked fine with stock rom)
4) notifications for gmail dont work (worked fine with stock rom)
5) menus show Galaxy S2, not S3 (minor)

Yeah it all works fine for me now with 7/20, both the Play link and universal search. From the first release I've been flashing 7/15 gapps (for gmail) then 7/16 (next time 7/17)

Sprint Galaxy S4 Mini Custom Rom Problem
I am having issues with s0be's custom rom build for the galaxy s4 mini (model SPH-L520) in which if using the stock messaging or Hangouts app, mms group messages come in the separate sms threads for each contact. I tried using 8sms and the app worked, but any message that I got in the group text from my friend with a Windows Phone come in without any text in the message. This is really aggravating and I am wondering if anyone has experienced a problem like this and may know how to fix it. Thanks in advance.
How do I install this rom?
Hi,
I originally rooted with Kingo with my s4 mini, how do I exactly install this rom so I don't brick my phone? Also, would my data be erased if I flash this rom?
SPH-L520
After Flashing ([SPH-L520][ROM][UNOfficial][4.4.2] CyanogenMod 11.0 for Sprint S4 Mini ) i have no signal at gsm even 3g,2g,4g,LTE.plz advise me to do correct settings.i m new user hope my seniors will help me to fix signal issues.
Regards
I am having a hard time getting the CWM-based recovery installed on my SPH-L520 with 4.4.2.
I've tried using Odin with the recovery.tar.md5 file as well as Heimdall with the .img, but don't seem to be having any luck.
The recovery always reverts back to stock.
Anyone have detailed install instructions or tips?
Root Problems
I just flashed cm-11-20140319-UNOFFICIAL-serranoltespr.zip (cm-11-20140319-UNOFFICIAL-serranoltespr.zip)
but i can't tell if my phone is rooted. When i type 'su' into terminal, I don't get an error, but I don't get a root terminal either.
SPH-L520 Unofficial Rom
Hey, I have a did this root method, but I'm having a couple problems.
1) Call volume does not adjust.
2) If there is a + in front of the number, the call will not go through.
Has anyone had any luck fixing these issues?
Any fixes
Is anyone even reading these? We cannot post to the main message board until we have 10 posts, and it seems like no one is addressing these posts from junior members.
---------- Post added at 01:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:29 PM ----------
I used this method: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_serranoltexx
And the files from the first post on this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2669991)
I cannot flash stock recovery and when I attempt to restore my backup or restore phone to stock settings, the phone will not connect to sprint network at all.
Please advise.
Has anyone gotten themes to work? I install the theme apks nicely, however they don't show up in the theme window in settings. Also has anyone gotten expanded desktop to work from the settings menu? It only seems to work if I bring up the power menu and change it from there.
EDIT: Apparently cm10 themes work but cm11 themes don't. Does anyone know why?
apn config problems
I'm having a similar problem. I'm not using the device on Sprint, but a Sprint MVNO called Ting.
I've tried editing the apn xml file a number of time, flashing various apn files and so forth. Nothing seems to take, despite the settings being relatively simple.
Is this hard-coded somewhere? Data is working fine, cell is working fine, but MMS is a no go.
[SPH-L520][ROM][UNOfficial][5.1.1] CyanogenMod 12.1 for Sprint S4 Mini [8/15]
s0be,
I have a hunch as to why your mobile data cuts out on cm-12/12.1.
I actually found your cm-11 build for this device very helpful in bringing up the US Cellular version of the S4 Mini.
Since then, I have (with lots of help from others) be able to get cm-12.1 working with mobile.
The problem I had is fixed if you use this revert: 98016 on cyanogenmod review (sorry, I am not allowed to post any urls).
Revert "Revert "Telephony: DcTracker: Fix CDMA APN Data issues.""
This reverts commit 76e8804a224dbb13aeea0ad4df25ef8ac34fdca7.
There was logic removed in the DcTracker.java that was helping the serrano get mobile data going and reverting it gets you going again.
An alternative to get mobile working if you don't revert is to copy the LTE apn and make the copyied one's BEARER = unspecified.
I hope this helps.
Does anyone have issues with phone calls on the SPH-L520 where the caller complains about an echo (hearing their own voice)?
I have found that on another US variant of the serrano (SCH-R890), that if I use the STOCK libaudcal.so (to fix the voice volume adjustments like s0be did for the SPH-L520) that the echo issue for the caller shows up.
BTW, this is not an issue when on STOCK, so it is not my case or a plugged mic hole.
If I revert back to the serrano-common TM libaudcal.so, the echo is fixed but the voice volume can not be adjusted.
These observations are on cm-11.
For cm-12.1 and cm-13.0, I can only fix the voice volume adjustments but nothing seems to fix the annoying echo for callers.
is this completly stable now with all features working??

Can CM11 for SM-T700 use fingerprint lockscreen?
I have a Tab S 8.4 WiFi Edition(SM-T700) and I want to flash a CM11 fot it from here:

And I want to ask that if the fingerprint lockscreen ia available or not. Is there anyone who can help?
Sorry for my bad English.
Mic not working
I saw that someone wrote that recorded video has no sound. From what I see, the microphone does not work at all, but I tested it only with Skype. I wonder if there is a chance to repair this problem in the near future?

Hi samszehonam263d,
I'm afraid not. Fingerprint scanner is not working in this ROM and rather I would not expect that it will be in the near future.
Thank you so much for taking on development for this device.
So far, one thing I've noticed is that when I try to access Language and Input in settings, settings crashes on me
Question to [ROM][KITKAT][UNOFFICIAL] Cyanogenmod 11 for SM-T700 16gb
Does this unofficial ROM version not support mounting volumes? I try to use encfs to mount an encrypted drive (it uses "FUSE"), but it only reponds to me : "mount failed".
Does someone have any idea?
what are the differences between this custom room http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/orig-development/unofficial-cyanogenmod-11-android-4-4-4-t2835170 ?
The last build from he 20th november, does not support the camera.
The latest rom (from the 21st november) works great for me
All works right out of the box (even the camera, seems to be fixed right now) and most important really fast and responsible!
I believe I can tell that all of us are really thankful for the work you made and the astounding efforts you have taken until now!
There is just one thing that should be tweaked: "heating"! The tablet itself is getting much hotter running the latest custom rom than the stock TouchWiz. Maybe therefore the battery drain is increased. I am not considered myself as an kernel hacker but I think there is a problem hidden. (Clockspeed, dynamic, static, min, max and or arm.bigLittle, gpu maybe also --> the heat comes definitely from the SoC!)
I am using the build from the 24th, if I download an apk from a website, when I tap on the download complete notification, it doesn't do anything. I have enabled unknown sources. I am able to install the apk if I open my Download folder in ES file explorer and then tap on the apk there. Opening the downloads app and clicking on the apk also does nothing.
Anyone else seeing this?
Tablet dont charge the battery when its turned off. When you turn off the tablet and put USB cable in they reboot to TWRP.
I have just loaded the latest build and confirm that installing APKs from the notiofications works! Thanks so much for all of your work, you've made this tablet so much better than it was when I got it. I'm starting to learn how to build a rom and hopefully will be helping out soon with your work. Thanks again, well done!
Great Work
I just want to say thank you all who have contributed to this rom I would have returned my Galaxy Tab S if it wasn't for CM11

I got this working now.
I copied the recovery image cwm-20140806-UNOFFICIAL-klimtwifi.img to /dev/block/platform/dw_mmc.0/by-name/RECOVERY on my tablet using below script:
dd if=/mnt/extSdCard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc.0/by-name/RECOVERY
Take note that your external sdcard path might be different than mine.
Then after that I was able to recovery boot on CWM.
just wanted to thank baracuda for the awesome port. i would definitely be interested in donating to help get the device so he can be the official CM maintainer.
edit: oh and by the way, using the latest build (cm-11-20141202-v2-klimtwifi.zip) google play sound search was going berzerk and draining the battery. disabled it and everything seems fine now.
Stable
Hi. I'm new in the forum, and have a little experience flashing android devices.
I love my SM T700, however, like most of you, I'm sick of all the bloatware included by Samsung. I want a clean system that allows me to work, but also stable, as I use this device as my daily driver.
My basic questions, for experienced users with this ROM: Would you recommend it for daily use or is it needed to keep updating and losing data frequently? Does the fingerpring scanner for unlock work? What about media support?
Thank you!
Any way to have tap to wake/sleep..i know one is in settings, but it would be nice to have both...also thanks again !!!

If i am correct, its an issuewith the updater script or somesort. Try posting this in the main cm11 thread for him to see and check.
I cant write in original post..... No 10 entries in this Forum. The Link in my startpost is now a direktlink and it is the error in TWRP
Is not a bootloader problem?
Which bootloader is 805 variant for the right for LTE? Can of course turn there are, I will not rule
I had the same problem with my nexus 5 and i solved updating the bootloader, or trying to change the device name of a file into the zip ROM with notepad++.
Amazing work
I have installed the rom and it is working brilliantly
Alarmingly it seams to suck allot of battery power i tried to do some debuging.
While it may not be relavant to the power issue here is some stuff.
looking at the log:
in:
/system/etc/init.d/01moduleload
the binary:
Code:
/system/xbin/modprobe
is executed and it always fails fails with the output:
Code:
modprobe: can't change directory to '/system/lib/modules': No such file or directory
Then i get hundreds of these:

W/PackageManager( 2775): Unknown permission com.android.launcher.permission.READ_SETTINGS in package com.android.onetimeinitializer
from many of the installed apps.
Later we get
Code:

And tons of null pointer exceptions.

Tested C11 rom for Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE
Hey thank for the port.
It works much faster than the samsung ROM.
I love it, and the work done on it.
As far as i can see everything works. Except when i call someone.
The message Dialler crashed appears.
But the call continues and works, the sound quality however is a bit noisy.
Also i cannot cancel the call myself. have to wait for the time. or let the receiving person cancel the call.
Is there anyway i can debug the dialler or look for debug messages or something else?
mic
Thanks for the work.

Well, I have managed to solve it, I just re flashed it with Odin again .. And it worked, yet some bugs are there..
1- I can't go to recovery from advanced boot menu,
2- the dialler keeps crashing, and the calls only use the left speaker not both speakers,
3- I can not access the SD card, I mean I can see it on any file explorer and move folders in and out of it, but can not install to it nor use apps to SD function..
Still exploring for more bugs.. Keep up the good work.. The performance rocks man.. It takes a glimpse of an eye to fully boot..
---------- Post added at 01:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:52 AM ----------
Dialler, SMS, contact .. Keep crashing, even when I used third party app .. It had the same issue,
the finger security scanner is not working, can not use finger print to unlock the tab.... I tried a 3rd party app .. Which I used before on the tab, this time it said device unsupported ..
Hope u can figure out fixes for all these silly bugs
Some more bugs,
the keys lights on whenever I touch the screen
The screen is a bit of low color calibration, I used the xnote ROM before CM .. they have a very deep black and good color contrast .. We made to make good use of the AMOLED ?
Kodi
Hi firstly I want to thank you for this ROM, I'm pretty new to this. I wanted to ask if you know why you can't navigate around KODI since flashing?
Steve
Error installing
I can't install this rom i got error message see the pic
Does anyone know if the developer of the ROM is following this thread
i had to sadly revert to my xnote rom .. regardless how laggy it is but fully functional, i want that awesome performance of CM with the full functionality of the device including the finger scanner
How can I fix extreme colorful AMOLED screen? Is it possible to copy the display profiles from the stock ROM?
Sorry for my English.
Dear developer, THANK YOU so much for porting cyanogenmod to chagallte, it is very much appreciated, truly!
For people who has been getting "Google Play Service" hogging up battery, I fixed those by changing Google Apps from cyanogenmod to the one in here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942. I used the pico modular package, but I'm quite sure that others will work as well. This also fix a bug where Google Play keep using my internet connectivities (wifi) in order to download something, continuously.
I have 2 bugs currently ongoing on my tablet:
1. Mobile Network connectivity is lost in a moment, I cannot get any signal at all. Seems like there's something wrong with the modem. I will try getting back to stock modem and re-flash to cyanogenmod again to test this.
2. 802.11ac Wireless (5 GHz) seems to come and go, I did able to connect, but it's missing again. At the meantime I'm using 2.4 GHz and will do some further check.
I will report with more findings later.
EDIT 1: After reflashing to stock and cm 11 again, the mobile network connectivity is working just fine.

CM 12.1/13 - various builds

Hello guys, I'm going to share some CM builds I've found online and I'd like you to try them and discuss them. Thanks to collapseromer.
Builds are usually compatible both to US and Chinese devices: please say which version you're using when you post/report bugs since we'd like to confirm that.
Most recent I've found (old versions hidden):
BetaHydri (12/07/2016):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/leeco-le1-pro/development/cm12-1-rom-betahydri-letv-1-pro-t3416651
Thanks to our fellow @BetaHydri we have the best of both worlds: working location service (even for mobile and wifi, Smart Lock via location should work now!) and working videos. Nice job!
Collapseromer's 20160628 build:
http://rom.7to.cn/romdetail/1012717
https://mega.nz/#!H91Q0RCB Passcode: !R1XXlc3yt8gUORagS7B-4PVf9ZCFP7uueVTIY8AMY08
OK, things are getting serious: we've got Play Store and Google services working fine (location via mobile data and wifi not working), all kind of streaming videos play fine, framerate for GPU intensive games is unbelievable compared to LeTV's 12S stock ROM based Custom ROMs; no major bugs to note except Parrot's Free Flight 3 app not working.
Dolby Atmos/AudioFX can be fixed using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67579077&postcount=109
Collapseromer's 20160528 build:
http://rom.7to.cn/romdetail/1012091 --> Chinese thread
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1boNb5Ll --> download from China
https://mega.nz/#!QgoihJCQ!RpD2O1knJ5L6uAOGI7I6elv6spUNrPXD7whpqb6y2kE --> mirror
Google Play Store started FCing after like an hour since I installed. I've tried a few things to get it back (uninstall via Root Explorer and reinstall, clear cache and data, flash GApps again) but so far no luck; funny enough, it's auto-updating installed apps and installing apps when I do that via browser just fine. :/
EDIT: Now it works... I guess it's because of the modified build.prop I applied, which I'm attaching here..
Actually I kept getting Play Store working on and off and I couldn't understand what triggers that so I reverted to the ROM below.
Collapseromer's 20160512 build:
https://app.box.com/s/ua2ekx0g54iltp2nj9b8uo2fykciylwg Uploader got out of bandwith, use link below
https://mega.nz/#!J8wTRS7Q!HFnr-waFdMvbJM-69doDuvmC2CI3RPytI8ODXNaqMio
- This ROM gets everything working except Periscope and Facebook videos.
As an attachment you can find a flashable zip to restore volume switch function on any CM build! Thanks http://bbs.le.com/thread-1675368-1.html
Please note I always disable all the Chinese apps (for example using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&hl=i) and install Stock/Aroma Open Gapps (http://opengapps.org/).
This is a guide to trim the ROM zip from variuos apk's, use wisely: http://bbs.elephone.hk/thread-2939-1-1.html
And this is an additional trim guide which was true for collapse-cm-12.1-20160512-UNOFFICIAL ROM, not confirmed on newer versions

This is the official device support request CM thread, chime in! https://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/120767-letv-x500-x600-x800/
And head over here to review the ROM, I think that may stimulate collapseromer to build more, maybe even CM13! http://rom.7to.cn/romdetail/1012717
What's your mileage guys? Could you get some CM13 somewhere, maybe? Please share your files and experience, LeTV ROMs are just clueless and I really think CM is the only way out: how could you develop such a useless lockscreen and notification shade, LeTV?
Hmm... Great stuff. I also not very impressed by EUI... What about Sim card slots, mobile Internet and camera? Do all these things work on CM too? How about battery life? Is it improved or same or less?

I'm using slot 2 only and data/calls/messages work fine; both cameras work, with 4k videos too; battery is more or less the same, I can go morning to evening just like Cuoco's. I really insist you should try, unless letv starts developing good things (but it seems like Android 6 ROM doesn't change much) I'll never look back; moreover, someone may port cm13 sooner or later.

How's the camera quality, compared to EUI?
Thanks for this share OP =D
Not at all, dude, I just want to spark some conversation and maybe development for this DOA device...
Camera is fine, you even get 4k video recording from main camera and 1080p from the front facing one. Even official EUI ROMs are not that good, with camera: videos always fail to autofocus and you have to keep pressing on screen to refocus, while pictures live preview is slow and generally not so good with low lighting.
Please H3G, deliver the HTC 10 and I'll get that in a heartbeat so I can stop going slightly mad with this device!

Hello guys, I'm going to share some CM builds I've found online and I'd like you to try them and discuss them. Thanks to collapseromer.
Please note I always disable all the Chinese apps and install Open Gapps
Most recent I've found:
http://rom.7to.cn/romdetail/1012091 --> Chinese thread
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1boNb5Ll --> download from China
https://mega.nz/#!QgoihJCQ!RpD2O1knJ5L6uAOGI7I6elv6spUNrPXD7whpqb6y2kE --> mirror
This is a great ROMtoo bad Google Play Store started FCing after like an hour since I installed. I've tried a few things to get it back (uninstall via Root Explorer and reinstall, clear cache and data, flash GApps again) but so far no luck; funny enough, it's auto-updating installed apps and installing apps when I do that via browser just fine. :/.
EDIT: Now it works... I guess it's because of the modified build.prop I applied, which I'm attaching here.
https://app.box.com/shared/static/ua2ekx0g54iltp2nj9b8uo2fykciylwg.zip
This ROM gets everything working except Periscope videos.

And this is a hardware-similar device which got CM, maybe it helps someone. http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=snapshot&device=sambar

Hi,
do I understand correctly that this "collapse-cm-12.1-20160531-UNOFFICIAL-X800" version works on our LeTV 1 Pro X800 US/CE model?

Correct, any CM you'll find in this thread works both for CN and US versions, I'm using an US device myself.

Ok thanks !
Then I will try it today, as I have some problems with my actual CUOCO 11S V4.3 which could not be OTA updated anymore for whatever reason.
Did't you installed OPENGAPPS arm64 version right after the ROM flash ?
Right, opengapps build, 64 bit, Android 5.1, flashed right after ROM (put two zips in queue, in case you're wondering). Let me know which build you're going to flash and how you like it.

I installed it ! But on boot I choosed german as language maybe not a good idea. Will try again with english at first boot-up.
I noticed following:
- I installed OpenGAPPS Stock Version for 5.1 / arm64
- Google Play Store is crashing
- AudioFX is crashing
- four to six useless chinese apps included into the ROM
- One settings extension is completely in chinese
Anyway if I'm able to remove the for me useless stuff and fix the crashing of the play sotre, then I will keep this ROM.
Which ROM build did you flash? I reverted to https://app.box.com/s/ua2ekx0g54iltp2nj9b8uo2fykciylwg for now, just because of Play Store issues (even though it actually worked since I could install apps via browser and apps were auto-updating I could open it only sporadically, most of the time it force closed).
- AudioFX crashes here too, I actually never tried that since all my audio needs are speaker and bluetooth;
- You can easily freeze/uninstall those Chinese apps: enable CM root access in standard developer settings, install Titanium Backup or similar from Play Store (or via apk from apkmirror.com) and get rid of them;
- That settings item in Chinese language is actually just a container for all those Chinese apps you want to kill, so don't bother. It will force close if you click on it, once you freeze/delete those apps.
- I always choose Italian as system language and everything is in Italian: except for those Chinese apps, of course, but they never survive for a long time.

I flashed this one that you posted at the beginning:
https://mega.nz/#!QgoihJCQ!RpD2O1knJ5L6uAOGI7I6elv6spUNrPXD7whpqb6y2kE
Should I try the one that you posted in the BOX account ? Isn't it the same ?
Nope, slightly older: try that.

can't download the one in the box account. The download don't start...
You're right, the uploader went out of bandwidth: I'm uploading to Mega myself, it should be ready in less than an hour. Of course I'll change the links too.

Original filename of the file I'm uploading to Mega is collapse-cm-12.1-20160512-UNOFFICIAL. If you have that one just flash. Build date is 2016-05-12 (12/05/2016 in Europe), you can see it from the filename.

Yes exactly. I flashed it already Play Store works on this build from 12.05.2016. Cool !
I already deactivated all the chinese APPS via APPS Settings --> All Apps. It's important that you have to download first a new keyboard like google keyboard. As the chinese/english one will be also unavailable when deactivating all chinese app/services from settings.
Yeah, so far that build worked fine, only occasional non-playing Periscope/Facebook videos. Even installed Xposed Framework with a few modules.
Oh, are you using Trebuchet or Google launcher?
