Creating a Flashable 4.4.2 Bluetooth Stack for 4.4.3/4.4.4 ROMs

Since 4.4.3 was released, I've had issues with HIDs like Keyboards and PS3 controllers working reliably.
The devices get a key lock issue, and result in repeeeeeeeeeeeated keystrokes, or just no keystrokes depending on when the Bluetooth stream from the device freezes.
For the record, I am not a ROM developer. I do know you can make a flashable zip fairly easily, as described in a few threads here on XDA.
I'm trying to work out whether it would be possible to create a flashable ZIP of just the bluetooth components from Android 4.4.2 and flash those over a 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 ROM.
My thinking is that flashing the previously working bluetooth components would fix the issue, and restore stabilty to the OS.
I'd be very interested for opinions from ROM devs whether this approach could work, or whether loading a previous versions' bluetooth stack would cause more instability.
Pleeeeeeease read the Forum Rules on posting as this does not belong in the Development section, thank you.

My apologies.
For the record, I did read the stickied post in this forum, but didn't realise questions *about* development were not welcome in the Development forum because I didn't read down far enough when it finally got to the Categories definitions. Maybe this should be promoted up the list a bit in the stickied post? There's a lot of information to parse in that sticky for a first-time reader.
Mods, please feel free to move to N7 2013 Q&A (I take it this is the correct place?)
Again my apologies for the mistake.
For the record, I think I might have resolved this issue.
In Android 4.4, there is a setting in Wi-Fi for Power Saving. Turn this feature off and the issues with key repeats and pauses disappear.

[Kernel] Deported / Stockish [AT&T Discussion]

This is the support thread for the AT&T variant of the StarKissed Note 4 kernel.
This kernel currently supports all North American carriers through the use of specialized release packages that will detect your device version and make appropriate adjustments.
Kernel Development Thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2915824
Issues, Reports, & Configuration
Direct installation available via Flashify (for root users) - Android Apps on Google Play
Heimdall with the S5 patch is needed to flash from a computer. Odin cannot flash this kernel.
Additional information for AT&T variant:
Potentially Unavailable:
Potentially Unsafe:
Incomplete / Inactive:
The idea to have individual carrier discussion threads was a good idea, in theory. It allowed finding the kernel support thread without leaving the device section that was already being viewed.
Instead of making things easier, it was only more work retrieving the correct link for all of the posts that ended up in the development thread. This does not include many of the issues that were carrier independant and ended up spanning multiple discussion threads, including the development and building threads.
Rather than posting links at the risk of rude comments boycotting the minimal effort necessary, all discussion is being funneled into Issues, Reports, & Configuration.
It was a good run. Thanks for reading.

petition for jiayu to publish repositories

Dear Jiayu S3 hardware/software development department,
First of all, thanks for making the marvelous Jiayu S3 device and
providing software updates.
There is an enthusiastic XDA community dedicated to the Jiayu S3 with
'tag' jiayu-s3 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/jiayu-s3
This thread named 'petition for jiayu to publish repositories' is
created to ask you if you can make an agreement with Jiayu
management to make source code repository for kernel source available,
and, to ask you if you can also make the necessary vendor and device
repositories available for building firmware (especially custom
firmware such as e.g. cyanogenmod and aosp).
Please, if these repositories can be made available, also include
necessary patches and instructions to build kernel and firmware
e.g. cyanogenmod and aosp.
Other vendors have contributed to better linux kernel and android
firmware that way and we would be proud if we can say Jiayu does the
same. Especially for the new 64 bit architecture starting with
Lollipop.
Looking forward to positive response.
It seems this thread has outlived its usefulness, as I just deleted 25 garbage posts by forum users that should know better than to spam a thread. Be glad I don't have the time or patience to dole out infractions to every person that posted here. On that note........

I don't know, it's probably ok.
Motorola Update Policy
Basically, Motorola will only provide One major Android update and two years of regular security updates.
But may extend support for devices that see longer than normal usage.
9 to 5 Google said:
For instance, this policy depends on the majority, so people who switch/upgrade their devices early could ruin the long-time use of a phone for others. Further, it’s just a paradox. Motorola is essentially saying that it will update phones the longer people keep them, but people will be more likely to upgrade their phone if they feel it’s been abandoned.

[Update: Retraction] Motorola's new Android update policy depends on how long customers keep phones
Motorola just announced a new Android update policy that paradoxically ties long-term support to how long most customers keep their phones.

Does Motorola still use blur_* OTA updates? If so, is there any other tool to get them? I tried the OTAU.exe and the online version... Couldn't find anything. Also, OTAU says it couldn't find the software version. I entered it manually, but still, it doesn't find anything.

Great info all easy to find!
I tried everything I could think of to find the stock ROM to get the boot.img out of to use Magisk on for my Moto g32 XT2235-2 (devon) and did not find it anywhere. No PC to run the Lenovo assistant (although this is my backup plan if nothing else works in a few days is find someone with a PC - I've used the tool before and it has saved phones for me that I messed up somehow).
Is there any way to pull the boot.img out of the phone itself with unlocked bootloader using fastboot commands or something?

Thanks for the link. It looks like that is for the xt2235-1 which by "retbr" I'm guessing means retail Brazil. I was looking to find xt2235-2 / "reteu" or retail Europe. I might try it eventually, but I'm in no hurry so I'll probably wait. Perhaps Lineage or other ROM will eventually be made.
