Nice app. One question before installing though, does it just tell me if I need a battery replacement or not? Or I have to find out using the statistics it shows? Thanks!

[UTIL] [Update] CurrentWidget (CM6 and xdandroid support)

Here is a simple but VERY useful tool!
A widget which shows the actual current.

}
Goodbye to such sayings like "My battery lasts 4-7 hours" or "about 10% per hour"
The value refreshes every 30 seconds at most!
Set the update intervall to 1 min and leave your phone for 10 minutes in standby to check the standby current.
Note: Unplug the charger!
Note 2: It seems that you need a working battery driver!
Download:
XDAndroid: ("MSM" as model number)
Search in the market for "CurrentWidget" or download the CurrentWidget_v0.16.apk from below and place it in /andboot/androidapps folder on your storage card.
Other versions:
For other versions than xdandroid (for example CM6 by neopeek) use the CurrentWidget_all.apk
Thanks to the developer Ran Manor!!

Is your battery meter jumping around? If yes you haven't got a working battery driver and it seems that you need one.

As far as I understand it's notan app it's a widget for the homescreen which should be added to it like any other widget. That's it.

Temperature monitering app? What do you all like/use

Hay every one
Just like the title says
Don't tell me to search. I know how to and I wanted to hear what you guys like for the battery, CPU and any other sensors
Thanks
Quick System Info Pro.
Has incorporated a lot of features including ones from Spare parts. I no longer need three different monitoring apps to do what this one now does.
It's the free version.
TempMonitor. Put's the temp up in the toolbar for battery temp. Mini info for the rest. Don't feel like buying it though.

Android system info has a widget for batter and memory, but I use Battery Life from Curvefish. Batt status, temp, volts. Good widget.
camarojones Thanks I like that app.

that's the program i use too. especially for the task killer. along with batteryminder. which is quite possibly my favorite battery percentage and temp program for the notifications and the status bar icon it has. dont care much for quick system info's status bar notifications so i use batteryminder instead.
"weather & toggle widgets" with h7c skin for clock and weather.
Looks exactly like the Sense clock.
battery life by curvefish is the bomb!
Battery minder is cool. But i am totally loving Battery life
Thanks guys this is my first android phone and I just keep finding more cool **** seems like every day, but at the same time it's ez to get lost in all the apps.
I use batterytime. Battery percent, temperature, voltage in pull down notification drawer. Also a widget for the battery.

What is best Current Monitor (mA) application for our phone

Hi All,
I have been using 'Battery Monitor 3C' from a long time but on my Htc phones, now i installed it on Galaxy W, but amazingly its not reporting the correct current consumption values in his log.
Very random values are there, in idle mode it shows from 10mA to 200mA which is not correct. When the screen is ON , it shows 30mA or 50mA that is also not correct. I have checked none of my application is consuming current that can justify these values.
Moreover battery percentage is also not correct. i.e , It jumps from 55% to 25% and stays at 25% for a longer time period.
So hence my conclusion is that Stock kernel doesnt give the correct values for mA and % to applications.
Anyone can give details that is it the problem with Kernel or the Battery Monitor 3C ?
I would appreciate if anyone has used the current monitor on Galaxy W and he thinks that the reading are correct.
Thanks

How To Guide Battery life Inhacement Mi 11 lite 5G NE - Code name <<LISA>>

Hello,
I just created this thread to post a tip that works perfectly with me to enhace battery life and it's very simple to do and i wanted to share it with you.
and it's just switching from BALANCED to SAVE BATTERY like you could see in the photos above, with this i gained +~40% of battery life. In my case i don't use the phone hugely but the way my battery drains was frustrating me even without using it constantly it was draining fast in stand by only.
before i tried this option i was always using DARK MODE and disabling auto start for apps almost for every app etc just to boost the battery life, and now when im on SAVE BATTERY im back to the LIGHT MODE and using the phone with the least battery life extension measures. i joined another photo showing the few optimisations i use.
i had to charge it 2 to 3 times per day from 20% to over 85%, now i don't even think about charging because i know that 50% of the lasting battery can absolutly be enough for me to the end of the day. (as i mentioned before im not a huge user of the phone), so when you use it in games for exemple it will drain as fast as it used to drain, i think it's way of working is limiting the process in the backgroud.
it's a good deal when watching films and videos in a browser also, i use kiwi browser with chrome extensions like ublock to block ads, the battery life is better when you switch to BATTERY SAVE option even when you put the brigtness at higher levels. i don't know about NETFLIX etc i don't use it so TBT.
Now i use 90 hz refresh date in i assume that i charge the phone 2 times per day just for ~35-25% or less just in less 15 minutes just to keep the battery over 70% and it doesn't bother me att all.
i wish this could be helpful for you guys

Phone used: Mi 11 lite 5g ne, Stock Miui 13.0.9.0 (SKOEUXM) Stable EEA. Memory Extension to 8 GB option desactivated.
ps: the stock rom iam using is very stable and iam not facing any problem with it, the only minor issue i faced was ui bug when i use a live wallpaper in lock screen, it will sometimes show as a home wallpaper and not animated until i restart the phone or re apply the lock screen wallpaper.
