You can install custom recovery through your stock rom, just rename your recovery to update.zip and place it in root of internal storage or external.now go to updater app and select update.

If you cant do anything, then just try to flash Stock MIUI fastboot rom, after that flash any recovery(TWRP seems to be best).

I think twrp officially supports Redmi 1s so go ahead and install Twrp manager from Google play and flash the latest build for your device. It will surely work...

Flash recovery

Hello guys, I have a question.
To flash the stock recovery mode, I should first enter on fastboot mode or on bootloader?
adb reboot bootloader or adb reboot fastboot?
My bootloader IS NOT unlocked.
Thank you very much!
Fastboot..
Sent from my ASUS_Z008D using Tapatalk
adb reboot bootloader, fastboot is a command not a partition, cmd when flashing would be, fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

However, you would not be flashing any recovery but stock or the temporary recoveries as you would probably end up in a bootloop as your bootloader IS NOT unlocked...
I have rooted also bootloader unlocked,
Now how to backup current rom?
Please help.

Once bootloader is unlocked flash TWRP on it, just make sure its the TWRP that supports X86 architecture.
You can find out how to in Android Developement or Original Android Developement.
Then just use TWRP to backup everything onto either the internal or external storage.

You install TWRP (untethered) like any other recovery, in fastboot... Again ONLY AFTER UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER.
You use the command "fastboot flash recovery *.img" , the * being the name of the recovery image being flashed...
As for ADB, I downloaded the latest ADB drivers I could find, do a quick search on XDA, after which it worked flawlessly...

Everything is latest.
But don't know about command.
Can I use cmd for command?
Or adb have there own command ui?
Thanks again for replying.
I also try Minimal ADB and Fastboot, but no luck.
Here's a good tutorial.

try to force decryption and then re-flash it again. It's easiest if you use the OnePlus toolkit available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/toolkit-oneplus-3-toolkit-unlock-t3398799
I was having the same issue after going back to official OOS and wanting to switch over to my current rom which gave me issues since I didn't have modified TWRP.

Yes it will. The toolkit will allow you to perform a full backup that you can restore later.
You can try flashing twrp from the toolkit, to see if it works. In my experience it didn't work until I forced decryption.
Try:
1. Fastboot erase recovery
2. Fastboot flash recovery "TWRP"
