Siswoo R9 Darkmoon, the revolutionary Siswoo smartphone with an electronic ink display on it's rear. This dual-screen device combines innovation with reliability, as it meets the features that have given the best results in earlier Siswoo models such as a 64-bit OctaCore processor, large storage capacity, long battery life (whose duration can be optimized by using the electronic ink screen, making it able to last up to several days), FHD Front Display and more.

Record-breaking Display Responsiveness/Latency on the HTC One M8!

Please delete thread for me - either I posted incorrectly or it was moved to an incorrect section.
It has now been posted on the HTC One M8 General Section.
Microsoft explained that high performance touch performance is becoming increasingly key aspect of a mobile device's user experience.
Microsoft report on Display latency
Apparently the HTC One's diplay latency is record breaking - measured at 46ms.
Source: Lesnumeriques.fr
It is not at the 1-20ms recommended by Microsoft but it is a great step forward considering the fact that modern devices barely go below 70ms. The previous record was held by the Note 3 with 67ms.
Newer devices:
Note 3: 67ms
LG G2: 110ms
iPhone 53: 75ms
Here is an overview for older devices:

It will be interesting to track the performance of other devices: S5, Z2, etc...

Forget the SD805 why didn't they use the IMX214?

There has been a lot of debate about why LG used the Snapdragon 801 instead of the 805 and initial test prove only a marginal difference for power users, especially the SOC. The GPU on the other hand is more futureproof.
What I want to know is why LG went with last years Sony IMX135 camera sensor instead of the new IMX214 that the OPPO Find 7 and Oneplus One use? Sure we have OIS and laser focus but the improvements the 214 bring are significant enough that average people will notice. Like Reatime HDR in video and less colour crosstalk and the fact that it is slimmer. How much more expensive would it have been to put them in considering that the OF7 and OPO are older devices?
Here is an article about the Mi4 and its sensor http://www.doi-toshin.com/xiaomi-mi4-camera-details-new-sony-sensor-imx214-just-stunning/

then how Lg G3 able to make 4K video now?
in taht table it needs imx214 for that.

Ulefone dual-rear camera :
Since dual rear cameras are the in thing this season, Ulefone are doing it too. While it might be a little difficult for brands with lesser resources to deliver Huawei P9-like quality, it’s heartening to see them giving it a shot.
There’s no model name associated to this phone yet, so let’s just call it the dual-rear camera Ulefone. We first heard about it a few weeks back, and Ulefone seem to have put in some work on the phone since then. Hence, we have some real pictures of the device. Have a look right below.
Ulefone are all set to demo the phone at Global Sources Exhibition in Hong Kong tomorrow (i.e., 18th Oct), after which we can hopefully expect some more info.
Besides the dual rear camera, other stuff that you can expect on this upcoming phone are a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and a home button-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vkworld Z3310, Best Nokia 3310 Clone

Vkworld Z3310 is one of the Nokia 3310 clones. They are almost identical in appearance. Vkworld use the same materials to build the phone. But it even does better in some areas.

The battery of Z3310 is 1450mAh, bigger than the 1200mAh battery on Nokia 3310. And it supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequency, while Nokia 3310 only supports GSM 900/1800MHz frequency. And vkworld Z3310 also comes with a LED torch light on the top and more RAM space. Both phones feature 2MP camera and 2.4inch display.
The biggest point of vkworld Z3310 is the Class K Amplifier, which is the biggest mobile phone speaker ever. It can provide amazing audio performance. And the 3D water-drop screen is exactly the same as Nokia 3310.
