Yes, It is a pre-order product.

Bluboo Xtouch Drop Test (Gorilla Glass 3, CNC Metal Frame, Suspended Screen)
Xtouch, as Bluboo 2015 annual flagship, we have considered much about its safety issue. We put Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the most solid glass to provide best protection for Xtouch display. All metal CNC frame cna make sure small crash don’t break the scren. We also adopt suspended screen and a “U Type” design as buffer between frame and screen to reduce the risk of screen break furthest.
To prove if these designs can effectively bring protection for its screen, we shoot a video about Xtouch drop test from 1.2m and 1.7m height.
Bluboo also noticed the issue and they developed another similar way to solve it. Bluboo adopt a “U Type” buffer between glass and phone border on their 2015 annual flagship Xtouch. They claim the new design could provide higher safety for screen just like Oneplus “V Type” design.
Bluboo Xtouch pre-sale had been started at $179.99 from 21th Oct, feel free to order it !

Apparently, if you're willing to review it, you can get it for $99.99US. Geekbuying has the details here

Got mine last friday, still testing... Made firmware update yesterday and i don't see much diference.
Is it possible to lower volume of sound during boot? It's so loud that i have to put my finger on speakers little holes.
Thanks.

any roms yet? it says on their own website that its compatible with MIUI, Cm and Flyme but i cant seem to find anything other than stock roms.

Rom
Is there any Rom in production for this model ?
Thank you

Hey, just wanted to chime in for the development of custom ROMs for this phone.
It's good for the price, but software side there are a lot of overlooks.
For example:
1) music stops if volume is set to max, both in internal speaker and 3.5mm jack, during peeks. Something with the ampli is wrong, and it goes in "protection mode". Volumes all around are too low, actually. Audio problems are the biggest disappointment to me. I use the phone to play music during classes, and this phone's volume just sucks. I have to keep it around 70% to avoid the "protection mode", even on audio jack.
2) as everyone knows, the IMX214 could be much better than it is implemented in this phone.
3) 3050mah that feel like less than 2700.
4) Xposed Framework would be a huge benefit, if I understood what it is. It seems to be uncompatible as of today. Bootloop.
5) there are some problems with 5ghz wifi too. It seems to prefer the 3G, and keeps on re&dis-connecting, rendering 5ghz wifi basically useless.
6) a nice Flyme wrapper for all these improvements would be excellent. Nice, clean, plain, easy and effective.
Ah, post scriptum...these eventual efforts have to be rewarded. Donation is guarranteed, at least by my side. Word. And sorry for the odd english, if any.

please help me. i must know how to root this device....gps doesnt work..(

Bluboo Xtouch appears in front of our eyes again with exciting news after a period of silence. According to the latest news, Bluboo is going to cooperate with India operator Aircel to sell Xtouch in India market.
Bluboo Xtouch is the 2015 annual flagship android phone of Bluboo, we have gotten much news report about this amazing 4G device but seems it is still on the road of official release.
Xtouch advertise itself "the best 5 inch smartphone so far". That make us much eager for how this device performs.
Aircel is the third-larggest network operator in India.
They roll out 4G network service in 2014 and put more energy on 4G network developing in 2015. This is the first time that they cooperate with Bluboo. We have more reasons to expect this future device.
The latest news report: Aircel has finished the quality eveluating of Xtouch. This model is going to be sold in India soon. Aircel chooses to keep the name of "Xtouch", this is the signal of Bluboo enter India market?
Another interesting news is that Xtouch’s ROM will be increased to 32 GB from previous 16GB for the Aircel model, but we still don’t know if the RAM of Bluboo Xtouch would be double.
Xtouch is going to be sold in India at the price of 14999 rupee($229). We can not make sure if they would launch both Bluboo Xtouch and Xtouch Pro.

Bluboo Dual / 1st Dual Camera & Dual Curvy Display/ MT6737T /5.5' FHD Review / TWRP
Bluboo will release the world's first smartphone with Dual curvy display and Dual Camera
Bluboo Mobile will release their new smartphone Bluboo Edge in November soon. So far it’s known that the upcoming Bluboo Edge comes with a double curvy design, Gorilla Glass 4, rear led flash and some new power under the hood with MediaTek 6737 quad-core processor. It’s allegedly said that Bluboo is planning to launch another device named Bluboo Dual which will feature dual curved display design and dual camera setup.
A few days ago, a video showing the curvy display of Bluboo Edge was exposed. The elegant and sleek screen of Edge has drawn much attention and received positive feedback and interest. Maybe that’s the reason why Bluboo is trying to retain the dual curved design for the Bluboo Dual model. It’s rumored that in addition to dual curvy screen and dual cameras, the Bluboo Dual will sport a 5.5-inch display with FHD resolution, aviation aluminum alloy as back case, quad-core MT6737T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
Anyway, Bluboo Dual price will be much below the insane price of Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design.
Well, please stay tuned for more news about Bluboo Dual.

Dual camera setup seems to be the most trendy in the mobile phone field this year. Following the step of Vivo X9, Gionee S9, Xiaomi 5S Plus, and Huawei Mate 9, it’s confirmed that Chinese manufacturer, Bluboo also plan to announce a new smartphone with dual camera design, named Bluboo Dual.
If you are familiar with the Bluboo brand, you must know that they mainly release mid-ranged handsets. Well, now we’ll have to wait and see if these details are accurate, but thankfully not too long.

Rumors about Bluboo Dual with dual camera design are already circulating for few months, but now it seems finally Bluboo engineers are really working since they released first pictures showing the real looks of the phone.
Dual name you need to have dual cameras, but ehm we probably hoped for something better than 13 Mpix primary one with Sony IMX135 sensor paired with 2 Mpix subsidiary one. In theory the primary camera captures the image and the secondary captures the depth information.
From the photo you can decide if Bluboo Dual is looking not bad with the brushed full metal body made of aviation-grade aluminum.
BUT
Bluboo Dual is going the full budget route with quad-core MT6737T processor clocked at 1,5 GHz, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage up to 256 GB.
Front panel has a 5,5-inch Sharp screen with FHD resolution, Gorilla Glass 4, advance two-layer touch panel with 10-point multi-touch support and reacting to gloved or wet hand.
Rest of the noteworthy specifications of Bluboo Dual include a gyroscope,
OTG support,
dual hybrid SIM slot,
3000 mAh Sony battery,
rear Smart Touch ID fingerprint scanner,
GPS + Glonass
Android 6.0 Marshmallow as the OS.
Bluboo Dual will be available in 3 color variants – Black, Gold and Rose Gold with retail price listed at $149.99. Bluboo claim that the pre-sales would start on December 5th

The making of UMi Plus E – the Pinnacle of Craftsmanship
The perfect harmony of skilled and careful handcraft together with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology to bring you premium craftsmanship.
This video lets you see how the unibody casing of the new UMi Plus E Onyx Black is being created from a single piece of 6000 series of aerospace-level aluminum.
VIDEO:
Nowadays, a lot of companies promise premium build quality on their smartphones, but not everyone manages to match the expectations when their product is released.
UMi, on the other hand, has always been confident about the quality of its products. The company showed different times in the past how their products are manufactured, showing materials and productive processes used in order to achieve the ideal result.
The UMi Plus E, the latest flagship made by the chinese company, makes no exception. UMi released today a video where you can see the full working process which transforms a piece of metal into the finely crafted body of the Plus E, In this case the Onyx Black variant, showing how much work and care is put behind every single unit.
More than 125 complex processes to making one Onyx Black UMi Plus E
The process starts when choosing the best aluminium alloy 6000 series, which is finely assembled to give the best possible tolerance when facing bumps and falls without deforming. Then, the body faces some CNC polishing processes, to give the smoothest and refined feeling to the touch: sandblasting, Anodic Oxidation, manual sand papering. After putting the logo and writings with laser, openings are made and the frame is finely worked, then the coating is applied, to give the final appearance of the device.
It’s a very simplified description of what happens in these 125 processes, but it gives the idea of how much care and attention is needed when crafting every single unit of the UMi Plus E, it’s a process which relies constantly on the experience and the craftsmanship of the artisans involved, something which would be impossible to achieve if only machines were used in the process.
UMi Plus E is world’s first Helio P20-powered smartphone. The phone packs an impressive 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card), a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display made by Sharp, a 4,000mAh battery with PE+ Fast Charging support, a 13-megapixel PDAF Samsung snapper placed on the back of the UMi Plus E aerospace-class aluminum chase.

Looks like a great phone. A friend has the regular UMi Plus and it performs very well. The only issue with it is the GPS performance is very poor, it hops/stutters around a lot.
Does anyone know if the new chipset in the UMi Plus Extreme will address the GPS problem or is there an easy fix which can be applied to the UMi Plus Extreme? I'd like to purchase the UMi Plus Extreme but I need good GPS functionality as I rely on Google Navigation a lot whilst driving.
Not sure if 6GB of RAM will ever be utilized fully

THOUGHTS ::
First and foremost let me start off by saying the finish on the silver MIX is stunning, when I first removed it from the box I was taken back... the mirror finish isnt something you come across often and it looks great. I will admit it is a finger print magnet, gorgeous nether the less.. definitely worth the upkeep.
The MIX's price point is definitely targeting the low end market, I've found it being sold generally around the $200 USD mark. Which I think is definitely a fair asking price for the device you receive. Obviously purchasing a device in the low range market your not getting all the bell's and whistles and that's to be expected.. however the Doogee MIX brings alot to the table.
Obviously the design is heavily inspired by the Xiaomi MIX and that's a good thing because the Doogee MIX looks great! The bezel-less screen really give's the device a premium feel. I've had no issues with one hand operation and I think the device is appropriately proportioned.
Now let's move onto the software, the Doogee MIX is running FreeMe OS.. for the most part I've enjoyed this android flavour. The UI is not heavily modified its nice and simple, the default launcher supports themes, little to no bloatware, OTA software updater. Includes everything you could possible want or need out the box. However there are a few minor bugs, I have brought these up to Doogee so I am hoping they will be resolved in a future software patch.. overall it's been a very positive experience, the bugs include the following:
Battery usage disabled in settings.
Battery percentage doesn't change colour according to light / dark text.
Android system webview refuses to update in the playstore.
Few minor translation errors in the settings app.
I'm not the biggest fan of the camera app, I really would like to see the UI revamped.. switching modes is a little clunky. However the camera does take decent photo's, I must say. There is little to no video stabilisation so that could definitely be improved. Overall all for a budget phone, it's pretty good... here's what the camera app looks like:
You can find some images I captured with the MIX below, I think they came out pretty good.. I was impressed.
The dual cameras don't operate as you might think, the secondary camera is used only in "blur" mode.. which as the name suggests blurs out the surrounding background of the image to increase focus on the subject.. I really feel like this was a missed opportunity, I really wish they did something more with the dual cameras. The blur effect can easily be done with software, really doesn't need a second camera to do so.
Ah of coarse the fingerprint scanner, almost forgot to mention this.. the finger print scanner is positioned on the front of the device on the bottom bezel. It doubles as a home button when the device is unlocked. In terms of accuracy its pretty good ! I personally don't use fingerprint scanners, I find them annoying... however it worked good in my tests, very accurate.. could be a little faster tho in my opinion.
Being a developer I naturally immediately requested kernel sources, Unfortunately tho Doogee have yet provided them.. which is a real shame because I have a working TWRP recovery for the device already, however unfortunately touch is not enabled in recovery. The only way to fix this is with kernel sources.. for the time being I have been using a OTG cable with a mouse to navigate TWRP. I really hope to see kernel sources release in the near future.
Overall my experience with the MIX has been positive, it does have a few quirks I must admit.. but considering how cheap the phone is they are easily excused. Performance is pretty dam good, camera is definitely adequate for photos, FreeMe OS is a really clean android flavour. Obviously sacrifices are made when purchasing budget phones... is it fair to compare the Doogee MIX to phones that cost double it's price ? Absolutely not...

But does it root?
Can this be rooted??
Doogee S70 / Doogee S80
I know some of you aren't too enthusiastic about Doogee's products but after 1 year using the Y7 Plus, I can't complain about my device, except for the camera quality - especially at low-light it's a real pain in the "bottom". However, never having to worry about low battery levels during the day, is a luxury I'd never do without anymore.
The Doogee S80 - and the S70 - have got a camera sensor and a chipset which are both well above average. (and I'm not even talking about the huge battery)
Camera sensor: IMX363
Chipset: Helio P23
What do I need to do to get the best out of it? Is there any dedicated ROM? Any dedicated gcam or some other camera app?
I hope there's enough devoted Doogee devs and users left, to help us out!

No reactions yet? Are these phones that impopular?
I've been spending every second of my spare time in the last weeks, reading as much as I could find about these (and several other) phones. FYI, it seems that installing Open Camera improves the photo quality a lot. I hope that this info could maybe be useful to some of the users. Too bad Doogee didn't put more attention into its camera software.
I'm still not convinced enough to buy them tho, so is there still no-one who has some good news about any GCAM port for the Doogee IMX363 camera phones?
My main concerns for a new phone are a large battery (for professional reasons, I'm using my phone's GPS constantly) and quality (very) low-light pictures - again for the job.

I know it's been awhile but I'll answer you. Does it root? Barely. I got one about a year and a half ago, maybe two years. Long story short after loads of research, (once I unlocked the bootloader as always in fastboot) I finally found there was a magisk method that required using specific releases only along with a custom magisk update channel. (For mtk devices) this method still doesn't technically root it either I have to use another script before the su manager is functional (luckily someone packaged it into an apk later, but originality it was an init setup) there is no official custom recovery. There are some unofficial twrp but only one of them work and it can't decrypt the storage no matter what .. so .. it sort of Roots? Also like any and every rugged phone I've ever had, it didn't take long before the protective rubber started peeling off ..
Yup,
