[ROM] Twisted Project 6 v4.0.1 -- 7/31 [OFE BASED] Stagefright Patch 8/11 - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6

This is a debloated touchwiz rom with some mods.
uploaded a recovery flashable stagefright fix zip. overwrites libs with libs from OGA. Two CVEs still remain red in zimperiums test app which is normal and happens on stock OGA.
v4.0.1
*fix google account manager FC on clean install
updated full rom zip and added a v4 to v4.0.1 patch zip for those who would rather not redownload the whole rom
v4
*Deodex
*5-Way Reboot (thanks kmokhtar79)
*added sqlite3 and zipalign scripts and binaries
*enable MMS when data is switched off
*Hide IME switcher icon
*remove app/jar signature check
*add bash
Since the ROM is now Deodexed we now have to switch over to the deodexed addon zip here
v3
*fixed lockscreen wallpaper
*removed some more apps and libs related to things already removed
*solved the issue of some websites being broken
If the ROM is missing something you'd like back such as sbrowser or private mode, edgarf28 has an amazing zip just for that click here
If people have issues with the zip I will gladly PM edgarf and ask him if I can use his zip to make one specifically for our OFE update
v2
*Native Hotspot Unlock
*zipalign
*increase messaging app attachment size and resolution
*turn on camera shutter option
*updated FHA tweaks
*debloating
v1
*rooted

kmokhtar79 for some mod tuts and i used his samsung stagefight patch zip to make one that had the libs from our update in it.

First! I have a couple questions. #1, can you possibly pull the modem/baseband from this from as a seperate flashable zip? #2 can I flash this over 5.0.2? Thanks ahead of time.

MD5?

i know we should never ask if your are going to do things but any chance you will integrate xposed or try?

I'm just going to say thanks for starting a new rom, I will definitely be trying this out after work

Finally a rom thanks bro

Wanted to say the rom is running great and thanks for supporting our device!

Awesome! I just got 3 S6's for myself and the fam. I'm gonna secretly root their phones and drop a custom ROM on it. This may be first on the list! Is there a way to get hotspot to work on this ROM?

First off... THANKS a bunch from all of us for our first ROM!!!
Second I just have 1 request and 2 questions..
Request is to include 3 Minit framework to be able to have crazyy customization!
2 questions are... what's the difference between this ROM and THIS one? And which FHA memory tweaks are implemented, and are they in the build.prop or kernel?
Thanks a lot @pwnyourace!!!!
EDIT: Also, ya'll guys getting an MD5 of: ca087eb0a5642b91d1440b3aa967dcbc

That ROM is a stock rooted ROM and this one is going to be one with mods and tweaks. And I'm going to take a look at implementing 3minit but I've still got things that I know how to so before I tackle figuring adding that.

Awesome, thanks man! Also, just wondering which FHA tweaks are added into the build.prop? Bc I'm using these right now courtesy of @mikeyinid and they are working fantastic.
Code:
ro.config.fha_enable=true
ro.sys.fw.use_trim_settings=true
ro.sys.fw.empty_app_percent=50
ro.sys.fw.trim_empty_percent=100
ro.sys.fw.trim_cache_percent=100
ro.sys.fw.bservice_enable=true
ro.sys.fw.bservice_limit=5
ro.sys.fw.bservice_age=5000
ro.sys.fw.trim_enable_memory=128000000

I'm just using the FHA enable line along with removing dha. I'll give those values a try though and they might go in v2

I have a request.
I know lots of people enjoy the 3minit framework, but I absolutely hate it with a passion. It makes things super ugly and I could never figure out how to make things look like stock again.
My request is: if you do add the framework, can you please make it optional? I've already had to go back to stock ROMs twice now because the ROMs I wanted to use had this ugly framework stuff.
Thanks for considering.

Really dude...

@mikeyinid is the master of the tweaks haha. But yes, they have VASTLY improved my phone, I love em'.

I'm usually never around for the developmental part of these ROMs. I always come in as the devs are moving on to newer devices. This is pretty cool to see this ROM take form! I wish I knew more about this stuff so I could actually help y'all out.

Thanks
I was about to trade in my GS6 today but thanks to this ROM, I have given it a second chance, thanks. :good:

I have but one hopefully simple request....
Can you please make a flashable modem/baseband?
The reason I ask this odd request is that in other model phones when flashing a different orgin roms example of i317 device with an i317m rom. Baseband would break but flashing the i317 radio fixed it and you could run the i317m rom perfectly.
I know cdma and gsm are different. But I also know 90% and have a very strong feeling that a,flashable modem/baseband of OF7/OFE will open access to cross platform roms like the note 2. potentially opening up experimentation of other roms from other carriers, including gsm carriers.
I've gotten roms from att, T-Mobile to boot up fine also got roms from g920i/f/v/vzw/etc to boot up(why the base and is needed) and all works fine except the baseband. On the,f model the baseband is only broken. Can you or someone very knowledgeable please make this theory a reality? pm me or something.

Big thanks to @bigxie for answering my questions!
Screenshots: (even though its stock)
Your screenshots aren't coming through. Do you have a link to an imagehost?
Is this pure stock other than deodexed and busybox?
Must be pretty stable (which I like!)
Good luck with the new ROM!
Good work. I hope you make this ROM into something that sets it apart from the others! Good luck.
I like the remove usb debugging icon. i dont know if the other roms have it. (probably do) but good work I hate the stupid icon.
Sorry about the screenshots. Dropbox link kept failing. Attached them through the actual file so they work now. Not very nice questioning my dev abilities on behalf on dropbox link fails

[ROM] AT&T Stock Properly De-Odexed LG1 OTA System...

This is mostly for new devs that want a stock build to work with, or just want to use the latest files & firmware version with their unlocked & rooted device.
All of the stock files are in this rom. The only changes made are busybox, SuperSU (Faster responses than traditional SU in my humble opinion), & I tore a lot of the apks down to java & applied diffpatches from the OTA update to all applicable apk & jar files, De-Odexed 100% & zip aligned. This currently includes the stock rooted kernel & will also work with the kernel by NunHugger (which supports init.d & custom boot images). You can easily change kernels with WinRAR or WinZip by making certain that "no compression" is selected & then drag & drop new boot.img to the root of the zip.
Also in the rom are the newer camera binaries & the other fixes from the AT&T LG1 OTA.
I did change the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk so that on-device searches are still possible.
Rom include latest SuperSU & a working busybox 1.20.2 build.
Other than that, this is a fully bloated & stock AT&T rom & contains the stock rooted kernel. If you would like init.d support or anything else added, just let me know. I don't believe in init.d, & personally believe in editing xml's or boot init files to accomplish init tasks, but I'll add if desired. I am working on modding the LG1 kernel to have UV/OC function, but other than that, not much else.
This will
I am working on applying the diff patch to the kernel source, so that the kernel will match the LG1 system. However, I am having trouble with occasional bootloops when battery is under 30%. Could be the source, but most likely it is the fact that I haven't played with 100% stock source much, let alone Samsung source.
At any rate, do what you will with this. It is there to do with as you like, or not...

So can you flash a different kernel like ktoonez just using cwm?
Yessiree.
Any kernel in the AT&T section I have tried so far has worked fine.
And if anyone wants, I can remove the debugging crap from all of the jars & apks to trim the files down further.
So the modem didnt change? Mine is still the same just curious
Edit: my bad forgot its just ota and just patches on the side note why no just make flashable zip of the removed apk if ever you debloat the rom

It is really meant to be a base for other's that wish to begin learning to cook. That way there is a base rom that is 100% stock for them to add to or deduct from as they choose. However, if you wish, I can do a de-bloated version. I have a new version as well, that still has bloat, but most of the frequently updated apps are in data/app & named so they are properly handled by updates.
Is there any consensus as to what is "Debloated" besides removing the AT&T crude? I usually remove gmail, I don't need two email clients, Flipboard, is gone, awww heck, I'll just do whatever & if ya'all want something back I'm sure I'll hear it.

[Theme][Mod] Darkydroid - For ArchiPort, QS-i9300-KK [WIP] - Update 4.6 - Released

Darkydroid Theme [WIP]
For Galaxy S3 I9300, Running ArchiPort Beta1/QS-i9300-KK, 4.4.2 ROMS
IMPORTANT: I am not responsible if any thing goes wrong with your device while flashing this theme. You are flashing this at your very own risk.
Hi Friends,
I guess it was time for me to give back the XDA community which has always been there to give. This community is like a teacher and I wanted to give back a gift.
I am running ArchiPort Beta 1. But I wanted a AOSP like dark theme for myself. And since I could not find any I thought "Why not give it a shot!". So here I present my 1st ever Theme for ArchiPort Beta1/QS-i9300-KK ROM for Galaxy S3 I9300. I am calling it the Darkydroid Theme.
This theme is not fully complete yet and it will take me a lot of time to build it completely since I have very little time that I can put into RND here. (I have a 2 year old son and he never leaves me and I don't want to leave him either). Flashing what I share with you, is not going to change the look and feel of your device completely. But it eventually will, when the theme completes!
Keeping that in mind my idea is to release this theme in parts. When I feel that I have something stable and perfect that can be shared with the community, I will share it.
So please don't ask for any releases. I will however try to solve any bugs are found in the existing releases.
So without further delay here are the download links::fingers-crossed:
Change list is available in post #2

Flashing Procedure for version 4.6 and upcoming ones:
Download the zip file and keep it anywhere (internal/external storage) on your phone.
Extract the contents of the file. You will find 2 files inside Darkydroid_[#.#]_001.zip and Darkydroid_[#.#]_002.zip (where #.# is the version number)
Boot into recovery and make a backup of your existing system (You never know when things can get messed up!)
Flash the Darkydroid_[#.#]_001.zip and then flash Darkydroid_[#.#]_002.zip.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
Reboot and Njoy!
Flashing Procedure for versions older than 4.5:
Download the zip file and keep it anywhere (internal/external storage) on your phone.
Boot into recovery and make a backup of your existing system (You never know when things can get messed up!)
Simply flash the downloaded zip file.
Wipe Cache and Dalvik-Cache.
Reboot and Njoy!
NOTE: This theme will not work with any other mods that you may have installed on your device. It may not work with your existing mods because I have made changes in the system file and it your mod also made changes to the system file then flashing this will override your existing mod.
And if it works with your existing mods, please update the thread/me so that I can mention necessary information in the OP itself.
Thanks Giving: :highfive:
First of all I would like to thank XDA Community.
And ...
- @JustArchi, @Kryten2k35 for the wonderful ArchiPort ROM.
- @Spannaa for clearing my doubts and the VR Theme flasher.

- @_alex74_ for his valuable 100% battery mod.
- anyone else whom I forgot to mention about.

This one isn't. Lol don't think this is the only one around. His leaner meaner brother just hasn't made it yet. Lol I wanted to get one out here so people would have a recovery Flashable ROM and other does might kickstart into their amazing Stock Modded roms. ??
Feels good to see something in here lol...... Hope this gets some devs going
I downloaded the rom and installed it on my GS6, but wifi never connected. I'll have to reflash it to provide a logcat to see what the issue is.
you know this was for the edge, correct?

Alright I am now all set after work to start testing stuff. I am going to flash now and test. Might have to edit some stuff. I just made sure it flashed and booted with no FCs so it isn't really tested.

Welp going to take a look see what magic i can do with this without the device ..
thanks for jumping in on this! :good:
For wifi we need to use static Ip. Working on a fix.
Just letting you all know, I'm the only member from Team Acid who has this device, but we will be working on getting some things out for this awesome device. As you can see, we have @RaverX3X working some magic on the ROM side of things, and we have @dsexton702 working on something to do with the Edge Technology. We would have a few people (@bhundven, @FBis251, @jeffsf, and @m4xm4n) working on the kernel end of things, but it would be hard since I'm the only S6 Edge owner on the team and I know nothing on compiling kernels and its very dificult to do without the device. Anyway, patience is a virtue. We'll have something for this device soon.
Someone should make a thread about ideas for what tricks/shortcuts they would like to see on the edge hardware e.g flashlight, gestures etc.

63% Stockish RomCustom Rom for Marshmallow 6.0.1 G925TTMB3EPD1T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge★Now Includes Custom Kernel★
Introduction
This is a stock rom created from the newly released MM firmware for the SM-G925T. I've made the rom using SuperR.'s kitchen. After I upgraded my phone to marshmallow I was excited to get a custom rom up and running.
Unfortunately there weren't many available that would retain wifi calling, so I decided to make one myself. This is the product of many headaches and long nights... hope you like it!
Announcement
Version 3 has just been released! I have fixed the screenshot crashing error as well as added a reboot to recovery option and disabled the unsafe volume warning. I figured these mods would be OK to add without going beyond the stock look and feel. I found these to be two features that I couldn't live without on any rom. At this point I am going to mark the rom as Stable since I believe I have fixed almost all the issues that were present. If anyone finds anything that needs to be fixed or changed, please let me know so I can start compiling a list for version 4.
Changelog
Version 3
* Fixed screenshot crashing issue
* Added Reboot Recovery option in the power menu
* Removed unsafe volume warning
Version 2
* Custom kernel set to permissive mode Source Code
* Removal of SecurityLogAgent under system/app
Version 1

Installation
Download the stock rom from Here. After downloading, flash this using ODIN.
Install the custom recovery TWRP (or whichever you prefer) found Here.
Boot into TWRP, perform a factory reset, then install the rom.
All done!
Known Issues
It seems the kernel I made is not creating an adbkey on the device. This will cause issues when using problems that require this such as DroidExplorer, PDANet, etc... I am currently looking into this and will release a version 2 of the kernel and include it in the rom. For now I would suggest using The Sickness's kernel for the S6 Edge found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6/orig-development/kernels-twisted-kernel-6-0-1-mm-5-11-16-t3377283.

Enforcing, I guess it would be better to put it in permissive mode instead. I'll change this when I get home tonight.

That would be awesome....some root apps don't work correctly unless it's permissive.

It looks like I removed Video Calling but I have added it back. I am also working on setting the kernel to permissive. I will upload the new rom after I've made these changes.
Well I'm having some issues with setting the stock kernel to permissive mode. I may just wait until @arter97 updates his kernel to support W8/T roms and include that instead of the stock kernel until I can learn more about how to edit/build a kernel. I am going to re-upload the the rom with Video Calling fixed and a few other apps left in with the selinux still set to enforcing. I don't think this will be such a bad thing though since the only app I really see that requires permissive is Viper4Audio. From what I've read, I think xposed should still work with enforcing.

Been waiting for this sort of rom, thanks.
Not having wifi calling is sort of a deal breaker for me unfortunately though.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this rom develops. .

It seems like it may be something with SuperR's kitchen that's breaking wifi calling. I'm going to see if anyone else is having issues with this and if there's a fix. In the mean time, I am going to try and recreate the rom using a different kitchen.

I was reading a thread where certain files and apks need to be present for WiFi calling to work. If I find it again, I'll send a link.
Edit: here is the post I saw...it's about adding wifi calling into a rom, but I am sure the info about the files needed can help.

I have been racking my brain for the past few days trying to figure out whats causing this. I believe like that article is saying that its a permissions issue. I've tried redoing the rom numerous times with different settings but nothing seems to fix the issue. The closest I got was changing the permissions from metadata to sparse_dat. The problem with this was I could not get wifi to enable after using sparse_dat. I have tried odexed and deodexed with a completely stock system and a trimmed system but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I'm thinking this may be something that needs to be corrected with the kernel since that's the only thing that's not changed through my testing. I have tried replacing @The Sickness's kernel in his base rom for the S6 with the stock kernel from the S6 Edge and it does the same thing. The only doubts I'm having about that theory is that I tried using Arter97's kernel and it seems that Wifi calling is not working with that either which would support the theory that it is a permissions issue. The only problem with this is that I don't know what permission would need to be changed or even how to find this as I am still an android OS noob. I'm going to continue doing research to see what I can come up with :fingers-crossed:

I'm going to load up @SICKMADEs v1 rom and see if wifi works. If it does, you might be able to isolate the problem.

I've tried that, no luck I also tried using your exact updater-script minus the sickness folder but still had the same results.
Something else I've noticed is that VoLTE is only working using sparse as well.
I am in the process of trying to use raw_img permissions and old school permissions.
I loaded up twisted v1 and couldn't get wifi calling to connect...maybe I didn't wait long enough...I'll try again later

I believe so. I used SuperR's kitchen for the entire process so that's what generated the updater-script. I used the system.img to build the project files.
