Bootloop without USB Debug - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My ZE551ML was rooted and I decided to update it being unaware that I was supposed to unroot it before updating. Once I got to the recovery menu, I attempted to sideload the newest firmware but the device was not found despite being able to be found during the bootloop. I then performed a factory reset and now it is stuck on a bootloop and cannot be detected by adb at any point.

U can use fastboot to flash ur device
But be careful with it u can hard brick ur device if done the wrong way

But how do I fastboot to flash? Every tutorial I found told me to use adb sideload which I never found possible.
Edit:
I solved my problem by copying the firmware I downloaded into an external sd card under the name MOFD_SDUPDATE.zip and going to recovery mode.

download full firmware according to ur device from here https://mega.co.nz/#F!k4MHiAgL!dVuOKeH3eokcwPSNI79ffw give Thanks @shakalaca for this
download (Z00A)2.19.40.18 if u want to unlock ur bootloader cause latest one cause problems with unlocking bootloader
when the device is off press power wait till it vibrates once then immediately press vol up button
u will boot into fastboot mode
there u can use fastboot commands
now form ur pc go to the path where u downloaded the firmware
press & hold shift & right click
select open command window here
now in command prompt give these commands
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash fastboot droidboot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot reboot
all done ur device will reboot
now u have a rooted device
remember if u want to update than first unroot it reboot than update

where do u get the system.img?
im also in a similar situation where im out of usb debug cause of factory reset

System.img is the entire firmware except for boot, droidboot and recovery... These can be flashed separately BUT make sure you use the right commands...
If you get to the usb symbol only displaying on your screen, you've stuffed up and it is a true brick...

I have the same problem than vinod.katakam!
I try to update my Asus Zenfone 2 Laser (ze601kl), to a recente version of Android, because i'm stuck on a older version of Lollipop.
My system had a SKU WW, so i downloaded the recent version WW (marshmallow) from Asus website, and treid to update, and that gives me an error. But i reboot the phone a it works fine. But still on my old android version.
Then i tried to just update to a more recent version of Lollipop, the process appears to start fine, but then it gives me an error. Now, i tried to reboot and i end up with a endless bootloop.
I tried everithing, update by adb (cant open the file), update by sdcard (E:Error in /sideload/package.zip (Status 1) E: fota_return_code 408), and fastboot boot.img, recovery.img, but on system.img says the file is to big.
I dont have de USB Debbugind activated. Is that a problem?
I dont have important data on the phone, i just want to make it work again.
Please help!!!!

Hello guys!
Well, i manage to understand my problem and solv it!
I bought my phone from Gearbest, and the problem begins there. Why? Because, regarless my phone is a CN device, it came somehow with a WW sku. You must know that a CN device have system partition smaller than the WW device.
So, when i tried to updated it with a more recent WW system there was no room for that, and the instalation stops with a error message.
After many "Trial and error", i understand what my problem is, and tried to install a CN system version by "fastboot flash" with a system.img with root that i find here: "https://mega.nz/#F!lodnzDhK!H5ChxausDTyko1qGlnF7dw"
To fastboot i used the fastboot tool that sukhwant717 told me to, in the post #15.
Well, that worked, so i now have a phone working. Them i go to Asus website and downloaded the latest CN firmware to my divece, copy it by USB to the internal memory of my device and upgrade it.
So, now i have a phone working with a factory system but with no google apps.
I found this website with google installer: "https://www.digitbin.com/google-installer-apk/" follow the intructions and finaly i have Google play in my phone!
Now everithing works fine!
I hope that my story could help someone with the same problem!

[Q] No compatible RUU, phone possibly soft bricked. Help?

I have an international One x, I don't know what I did wrong but my phone never gets past the ROM's logo screen. I've tried flashing about 6 different ROMs that all worked before but the boot.img file never flashes. When I type the command in fastboot, it says it flashed successfully on the pc but the phone just shuts down. When I open it again, it doesn't boot. I also tried restoring to a stock nandroid backup (from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1975140 ) and. I tried restoring to a backup I'd made a month ago but neither worked.
I tried looking for a RUU to run but none worked or are compatible because I can't find one higher than 3.16 and I have S-ON so can't flash anything below that. I looked on the internet in general and here http://www.androidruu.com/?developer=Endeavor
Info about the phone:
It's S-ON with an unlocked bootloader
hboot 1.39.0000
CID HTC__J15
Software version 3.16.415.4
radio-5.1204.162.29
Posting here is a last resort, I've tried everything I can think of over the past 3 weeks and I don't know what to do

Wow what a poem first thing as you may know, flashing the boot.img is a really important step to do if you want your rom to work... I see that you can't do it but i have just a question, does your phone shuts down immediately after you type the command or at the end of the flashing process?

Hi Hadya!
I guess you should start from scratch. U will lost all data on your device but after all it is working again.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!
1. Make sure your device is fully charged for this. Otherwise it will be a big stress to get it back to work.
2. Copy all data from the SDCard away because you will loose EVERYTHING!!!
3. You need your unlock_token.bin to unlock your device again. If you don't have it available please request this from the HTC web site.
Now, let's recover your device...
1. Download this file and extract it.
http://ul.to/j4j1cpft
2. Enter fastboot
Press POWER & VOLUME DOWN KEY and enter the bootloader
3. Connect your device to PC for the 1st Recover
Test if your device is available via fastboot and use this command:
fastboot devices
You should see your device with Serial number
Now lock your device back with command:
fastboot oem lock
You will see a short message and your bootloader is locked. You should see the message on top of the bootloader with RELOCKED.
That's fine.
Now start the ARUWIZARD from the downloade ZIP file and flash your device as you know it.
There is a ROM file inside which is same as your current hboot. This flash procedure will allign your partitions on the device and it might be that you will loose all SDCard files. I'm pretty sure that you will loose it.
The ROM contains only hboot, recovery and boot Images but it will "RECOVER" your device.
4. Unlock your device
After this procedure you are ready to unlock your device again. Enter fastboot and flash your unlock token again.
fastboot flash unlocktoken unlock_token.bin
After the device is unlocked flash boot and recovery image of your choice within this way:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot erase Cache
After this you have a half running device.
5. Second Recover Step
Now you need to do a final repair for the device. For this you need to download Android Revolution HD 31.x ROM.
1. Put this ROM on your SDCard
2. Enter recovery and flash this ROM
3. Flash the boot.img to your device
4. Start your device and ignore the 1st Setup steps.
5. Now go to:
SETTINGS > Backup & reset > Reset phone (touch this)
6. On the next page scroll down to the bottom and select:
"Erase Music, Picture... on the storage"
7. Press "OK" and wait
When the phone is back again device is fully recovered. The SDCard is reformated and all partitons are back again.
Now you can do everything you want with your device again.
Best regards!

I'm facing a tiny problem with running the ARUWizard. It says my phone's battery is below 30% and won't flash every time although I fully charged it till the light turned green.
Hmmm... this seems to be a tricky thing.
Try this:
1. Copy the rom.zip into the same Folder where your fastboot.exe is located
2. Enter bootloader and go to fastboot.
3. Flash the file with this command:
fastboot flash zip rom.zip
4. Enter the original recovery
5. When you see the red triangle than do a short press on the power button and vol up and you will see the menue as same as you know it from the CWM Recovery
6. Wipe Cache
7. Wipe data/factory
8. unlock the bootloader
9. Flash the rom.img from AHD Image
fastboot flash boot boot.img
10. Flash CWM recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
11. enter Recovery and Mount USB
12. Copy the AHD ROM to your device & flash it
13. Boot the ROM, wait up to 10 minutes bevore you use it & ignore the setup
14. Within the Phone enter Settings and do a FACTORY RESET

H815: No recovery mode (bootloader unlocked, TWRP 3.0.1 installed)

Hey guys,
I'm trying to root my G4 loaded with MM 6.0. I cannot get into Recovery Mode no matter what I do.
I have tried the key combo (power+down, etc) - it does nothing. If I use adb reboot recovery, I just get the dead Android guy with the exclamation in red triangle. (which is perhaps a hint as to why the key combo doesn't work.)
I followed steps to unlock the phone's bootloader via LG's dev site (success) and I've installed TWRP 3.0.2-0-H815.img but I can't get into Recovery mode. **The phone continues to work fine** and I can get it into Download Mode.
After having no success with TWRP, I thought, f*ck it, since I've gone this far, let's go with CyanogenMod instead of stock, so I installed cm-13.0-20160415-NIGHTLY-h815-recovery.img
I was also able to use adb to push CM 13 (nightly build 20160415) and Gapps (arm64 6.0 20160416) successfully to phone, but it's obviously no use since I can't get to Recovery Mode.
I'm wondering if someone can please suggest a solution or at least a next step.
When I use fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img it takes 0.718s 'send recovery' and 0.282s 'writing recovery'.
[solved - probably Win10's no-ask driver update policy] New problem: After going back to TWRP, fastboot devices shows nothing and my device is showing up in Device Manager as LGE Mobile USB Composite Device, whereas I specifically changed it from the LG drivers I installed to Android ADB drivers. The device doesn't even list the Android ADB driver as an available option now. WTAF?!? Maybe this is more Win10 driver-auto-update malarkey?
OS = Win10x64
Kernal = 3.10.84
Build number = MRA58K
Software version = V20d-EUR-XX
Developer options are available
USB debug is enabled
OEM unlock is enabled
I'm using the stock USB cable
Additional question - tutorials say to back up NVRAM and IMEI before doing anything risky, but I can't get those without root. How does this make sense?
EDIT: NOTE: You should be using the arm64 version of Gapps on LG G4 H815.
Thank you very much to everyone who stops in to take a look at my questions.
All the best,
Dax.
Hi
I had the same problem with Win 10 not seeing my H815 properly (same device name in Device Mgr as yours) I reverted to the older Lge drivers, 4.0.3 if I remember correctly and the phone showed up properly and I was able to use LG UP to update/downgrade etc.
Like you I have since tried to install TWRP but I cannot new get root with Kingroot 480 although it worked previously on V81520D it does not now.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
try fastboot boot recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img
then tap IMG instead of ZIP (bottom) -> install img and flash the twrp img
Hi Stransky, I reinstalled the adb-setup-1.4.2.exe package which also contains drivers and now ADB will see the phone (which is good), but Fastboot still says waiting for devices (bad). Thanks!
I also changed the default driver from 'LGE Mobile ADB Interface' to 'Android ADB Interface' (as per tutorial instructions).
Hi Bender_007, thanks so much for the tip, I'll try it as soon as I can get Fastboot working again. Cheers!
Okay, so I learned ADB is for Android or Recovery mode, Fastboot is for 'HBOOT' (bootloader) mode.
As expected:
adb devices returns "List of attached devices: LGH81579d3bc56 device".
If I use the command adb reboot-bootloader, phone restarts in bootloader mode.
Then adb devices does nothing, but fastboot devices returns "79d3bc56 fastboot".
When device is in bootloader mode, it shows up in Windows Device Manager as 'Marshall London Bootloader Device'.
Bender_007, the command "fastboot boot recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img" doesn't work. It's invalid syntax. "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img" works as per original post.
Any other suggestions?
Hm, put the twrp inside the same folder where your fastboot and adb are. Then start command prompt in the very same folder and type fastboot boot twrp... And that should be it. That means if everything is normal and the system is bootable.
Pardon, fastboot boot twrp(whatever the name is)
Not: fastboot boot recovery twrp..

May I see this via teamviewer please ? (teamviewerQS via private message)

I am stuck probably on the same issue with win10. It seams like I was able to flash twrp recovery but I can't enter it. Already factory reseted it 3 times while trying to enter into custom recovery.
Any advices what to do?

The best solution there is:
1. put adb, fastboot into a directory (let´s say c:\adb), put the twrp-3......img into the same folder
2. adb reboot bootloader
3. open command prompt, cd c:\adb
4. fastboot boot twrp-3.....img (where twrp-3....img is the actual name of the twrp img)
it will boot to twrp, now you can either copy the twrp img to the phone and flash it(it will ask where to flash - tap on recovery--don´t tap on boot)
You might have to tap on zip/img toggle to enable img flashing first
should you need more help just post in here
Yep that did the trick. thank you! I was able to load recovery with the fastboot boot twrp.. but didnt realize that i can install it by the loaded twrp lol. Now I can finally confirm 2x YES and it gets me into TWRP. thanks again!
Can I make one little tip for everyone else? Follow this guide to the end: http://www.technobuzz.net/unlock-lg-g4-bootloader/
Step 1 is the easiest way to install adb, fastboot and drivers in one go.
Same problem here:
Software version = V20d-EUR-XX, Developer options are available, USB debug is enabled, OEM unlock is enabled
I can boot into recovery via bootloader: fastboot boot twrp-3.0.2-0-h815.img but:
1. had I to allow to modify system partition modifications?
2. how can I boot in recovery from system? with adb I always get the red-triangle Android on its back und with hardwarekeys after shut down the devise, I#m coming to stock recovery: factory restet no/yes
1. Yes
2. While you are in twrp just flash the twrp IMG again via twrp itself. It has the option to flash img instead of zip.

When i boot into recovery at the moment, the "modify-dialog" is away...
But I will see after "re-"install the twrp how it works...

UPDATE:
Did it, worked!!!
on system: "adb reboot recovery" leads to twrp!
there are no hardware-key-solutions to get to recovery...
with the hardware-keys (after shutdown -> power + vol down -> release power for a second when LG-logo pops up) I get to the factory reset no/yes dialog...
On the factory reset choose yes twice. Normal for lg

[551ml] flashboot FAILD (remote: flash_cmds error!) Im stuck in fastboot

HW_Version -
Bootloader Version - unknown
IFWI Version - 0094 - 1069
Serial Number - my #
Signing - ?
Secure_boot - ?
RESULT: FAILD (remote: flash_cmds error!)
Thats what my bootloader looks like. What happened was I tried to update from Stock .184 to the new MM build. I downloaded the file and got prompted the update in my phone. It installed or did something and when it rebooted I was stuck in a bootloop with no screen.
I ended up using xFSTK Downloader everything went fine, my phone turned on with 4 colored bars and brought me in to the bootloader. I proceed to use Asus Flash Tool to flash the raw file of .194 and that's where my problem started.
It was taking soo long so I took my dog out for a good 15-20 min walk came back and the flash tool was still doing its thing and the green bar was still moving and on my phone it said RESULT OKAY.
I ended up closing the Flash Tool because it was taking soo long. I rebooted my phone then it goes in a bootloop with the 4 colored bars on the screen. Then I just keep repeating these steps and can't get anywhere.
When I am able to get in the bootloader after using xFSTK Downloader I cant use some flashboot commands. I cant flash twrp because I get FAILD (remote: flash_cmds error!) .
I was going by this guide here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-brick-soft-hard-bricked-zenfone-2-t3284256
EDIT: I just noticed that my phone doesnt come up as MOOREFIELD in device manager. when it turns on and goes in to the bootloader it shows for a second and goes away.
I'm very thankful for anyone that responds. Thx for reading.
I just had this problem after a bad flash~
The instructions of unbricking the phone was lacking some infos.
So I tried a lot of experiments just to unbrick this piece of crap XD
If you are successful on xFSTK procedure you'll end up on "fastboot" mode.
Then you'll proceed with the flashing tool. According to your description everything is just normal my mate~
Now this is the REAL DEAL.
You may notice an ENDLESS "Flash Image" on your flash tool.
Now look on your phone in the Fastboot mode. If you see that the "RESULT: OKAY" seems got stuck, its ok my friend its normal (it will take about 10-30mins depending on your PC).
• Unplug your phone, re-plug it in
• Close AFT
• End process "a500cgfastboot.exe" in the task manager"
Then do the FASTBOOT commands:
• fastboot flash splashimage splashimage.img
• fastboot fastboot flash droidboot.img
• fastboot flash boot boot.img
• fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
AND! you can now proceed on your recovery menu.
You may ADB Sideload the stock firmware by doing
• adb sideload UL-Z00A-WW-X.XX.XX.XX-user.zip (replace the "X" of what file version you want to flash)
And wait for it to reboot. I really hope this helps you mate~
#cheers!
Reflash in xfstk, press dload ...power plus vol + together till phone recycles and flash begins , check my signature below for tutorial, read whole thread and watch video.
You may need to flash an earlier raw too from which the ifwi and fwr dnx and pos bin are made.
Just so you know why it happened. You HAVE to be at version 194 before you update to MM! Otherwise... Boom

well lot of people facing problem. as you told that you are able to get into fastboot after xFSTK process. and you are unable to flash raw firmware file!!!! well perform xFSTK again. get into fastboot and perform following steps:
very first of all. rename .raw firmware file to .zip file and extract all files in there.. now place all files in adb and fastboot folder. open command window here. ( where you places files from raw firmware and adb and fast boot tool folder) perform the following commands
1. fastboot devices ( see if it is recognized: else plug out usb and plugin again)
2. fastboot oem erase_osip_header
3. fastboot oem erase_token
4. fastboot oem start_partitioning
5. fastboot flash /tmp/partition.tbl partition.tbl
6. fastboot oem partition /tmp/partition.tbl
7. fastboot erase system
8. fastboot erase cache
9. fastboot erase data
10. fastboot erase APD
11. fastboot erase ADF
12. fastboot oem wipe splashscreen
13. fastboot oem stop_partitioning
14. fastboot flash fastboot droidboot_sign.bin
15. fastboot flash token PROD_BOM_Full.bin
16. fastboot flash ifwi ifwi-prod.bin
17. fastboot flash splashscreen splash_sign.bin
18. fastboot flash boot boot_sign.bin
19. fastboot flash recovery recovery_sign.bin
20. fastboot flash APD APD.img
21. fastboot flash system system.img
22. fastboot reboot
hope it will work fine. hit thanks if helped. if any further question please post.

Im sure what you mean sorry. I have .194 on my phone with the help of your steps in fastboot. It booted and im in my phone and its updating all my apps and stuff..
Do you mean factory restore in bootloader? If so I tried adb reboot recovery the phone restarts and goes to a screen with https://i.ytimg.com/vi/wuixmZ11Kyc/maxresdefault.jpg Im guessing if i cant get in to recovery I cant do a factory restore?
in fastboot my bootloader doesnt have a version number it just says unknown
EDIT when the picture above showed up I held the power button and vol + to get into recovery and its performing a factory reset atm.
Anyone else bricked ?
Unbrick and into system with correct serial and imei numbers in 20 mins ..see my signature for zubes ..

Oneplus 3 Boot Loop

So I tried to flash another rom by flashing TWRP and unlocking the bootloader, which worked and I then had installed Freedom Os. Then I locked the Bootloader to get the Message away, but know when you charge it or turn it on it is in an boot loop which repeats the Oneplus Logo what you normally see, but very short and after that it bobrates turns the screen off and it atart again. Or I can go into fastboot mode, but when I try to go into the recovery, it goes into the Boot Loop again. Is there a way to get the Original OS back? Ive already dopwnloaded it but I cant get in on there. Can you tell me how to fix it on my own?
[GUIDE] Mega Unbrick Guide for A Hard Bricked OnePlus 3 > METHOD 1
If you can access fastboot mode, connect the phone to a PC, then go to ADB and erase recovery using the command " fastboot erase recovery" and install TWRP 3.0.4-1 using the command " <fastboot flash recovery <recovery.zip/img> again.
Once you do that, boot into TWRP, go to wipe and wipe everything. Once you do that, transfer the stock OOS into the internal memory using copy-paste , then go to install , select the transferred file to install the OS or else go to advance setting in TWRP and select adb sideload and use the command "adb sideload <filename.zip>".
This should install the OS on the phone.
If you want to go complete stock, then you also need to install the stock recovery. Search the forum to get the relevent files or else you can download it from the OnePlus website and later on update to latest OS via OTA.
NEVER EVER LOCK THE BOOTLOADER , IF YOU'RE USING ANY ROM OTHER THAN STOCK OS AND STOCK RECOVERY

Download Universal ADB software, download the latest version and install it.
TWRP 3.0.4-1
Official Oxygen OS 4.0.3
Official Recovery
Connect your phone to the PC and then navigate to installed folder, right click holding SHIFT key and select "Open command window here"
Inside command window type
adb devices
If all the drivers are installed properly, you should see you're device ID here.
then type
adb reboot bootloader
your phone will enter fastboot mode.
then type
fastboot devices
again you should see you're device ID here.
then follow the instruction , i've given earlier.

So i've downloaded the software, installed the driver and typed in cmd adb devices "adb devices List of devices attached" is returned, so it seems like there is going something wrong. Is it because the Driver is installed wrong or because "target reported max download size of 440401920 bytes
sending 'recovery' (22605 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.528s]
writing 'recovery'...
FAILED (remote: Partition flashing is not allowed)
finished. total time: 0.551s"
This is returned when trying to flash. Do I have to be in fastboot mode or something else to be able to follow your instructions? In Fast Boot is written that the Device State is locked and Secure Boot is enabled. I messaged Oneplus and hope they have a solution which can just unlock the Bootloader when being in fastboot mode, so everything is fine again. I hope you can help me, but I still wanna say thank your for now

Thank you, but it dont works because i forgot to re-enable the oem modification and usb debugging in freedom os, maybe there is an option to do this without having this enabled but I didnt found it. So I wait for a helpful answer from somebody here or from Oneplus, I consider sending my smartphone to oneplus to let them repair it if I cant do it. Just saying that modding an S3, Asus transformer pad and nvidia shield is way easier.

Yeah I'm sorry I can't help you in your case. I'm just stating the fact. Sorry if I offended you.
Shouldn't it still be possible to reflash the properly signed official updates? TBH I never had such a problem and thus never had to cope with it. Same with recovery: http://oxygenos.oneplus.net.s3.amazonaws.com/recovery_op3.img Try flashing this one with fastboot. It's the official one. By flashing this one you might fix your stuff over adb sideloading the official full update zips.
Try the unbrick guide provided in the 2nd post to your query. It should definitely help. Better contact OnePlus tech2 support and they'll flash your phone for you. They're really helpful.

The MSM Software disconnects the smartphone while the process works
U cannot flash in adb while the bootloader is locked, u can not unlock the bootloader unless u can access ur OS, I am not sure y people was trying to get u to flash via fastboot the answer was provided to u in the 2nd post
^^^ This!
It's pretty much obvious fastboot flash will not work with a locked bootloader.
It's pretty obvious unlocking the bootloader will not work, while one can not access the OS.
Unbrick tool is the only option to bring it back to life, or sending it for RMA. If unbrick tool fails, try using different drivers and make sure it is connected with the stock cable (I've only tried with a Nilkin cable besides the stock one, which always failed at different stages during the process).
Not even sure drivers must be installed manually, I've never done that myself on Windows 10, as they were automatically installed (3 different's PC's, both on x86 and x64).
Which version of stock firmware did you last have? If it was 4.0.1 or earlier, then you can use
Code:
fastboot oem 4F500301
to issue a flash command even without unlocking the bootloader. If you are on that, then use that command and flash stock recovery and then flash stock zip.

Forgot pattern on Android 10 Beta

Hello everyone,
I have managed to forget my pattern. :crying: I'm on a Pixel 1 and on Android 10 Beta 4. The problem is I have my bitcoin wallet on that device, which is the reason why I cannot factory reset it.
The problem is I cannot reach the device via Google Find, even though it's connected to my WiFi. I also tried putting in a simcard - this didn't help either. Next problem is, I cannot access it via ADB, only via fastboot in bootloader mode.
Any ideas what else I could try? I'm starting to give up...
Best regards

You don't install TWRP. you boot into it via fastboot and from there you can then choose to flash a zip file which will permanently flash TWRP until a custom ROM is flashed then you have to reflash it. The command to boot into TWRP is fastboot boot *name of TWRP file*.img
It will then boot into TWRP . For convenience sake, I always rename my TWRP file TWRP.img

if its unlocked then you should able to install twrp without any issues,
follow him
You don't install TWRP. you boot into it via fastboot first and from there you can then choose to flash a img file which will permanently flash TWRP until a custom ROM is flashed then you have to reflash it. The command to boot into TWRP is fastboot boot *name of TWRP file*.img
It will then boot into TWRP . For convenience sake, I always rename my TWRP file TWRP.img
copy that TWRP.img in the same adb folder, also its saying too many links that mean you have more than one USB devices connected, just take all of them off and only have your phone connected to it
