"Wear messenger" not working - Moto 360

I'm trying to use "wear messenger" or "coffee" on my Moto360. There is a problem with sending messages. When I send a SMS using one of these apps, it shows a message saying the SMS is sent, but actually nothing is sent and nothing is recived by the other guy. I can send sms with my watch using device's default sms app (EvolveSMS) but it forces to use voice typing. can anyone help? Can I fix wear messenger or is there any way to send sms using keyboard (ie microsoft analog kb) on moto360? (Galaxy S4 lollipop, Moto360)

Same problem here. Wear just doesn't work. Even tho I tried it with CM11s & Miui6 default messaging apps. I even have xposed installed & notification access enabled.

Moto 360 sending text replies twice?

I use hangouts for regular SMS and when I send a reply via voice on the watch the person received it twice...?
Anyone have any similar issues or suggestions?
I have had this issue. It shows up twice in my hangouts but only one instance on the other end.
Yeah... it's borked here too. It appears to be using the Messaging app to send texts even though my default sms client is set to Hangouts.
How long has Google had to get hangouts right?
I'm using 8sms now which fixed it entirely
My default is set to hangouts but it will still send a SMS via my carrier # and not my Google Voice #....which really sucks.

[Q] Hangout issues

When I initiate a text via my M360 it sends fine but doesn't pop up in my message list. If I reply to anyone message it shows, just not when I start a text. Anyone else?

Please explain in more detail, does it not show up on the moto 360 or does it not show up on the hangouts app on your primary device? If it doesn't show up on M360 I believe it's because of the way the software is coded to show apps only when a notification is prompted. Initiating a text doesn't prompt a message but when someone replies it does. I believe that is the problem you have.
It doesn't show on either device the phone or watch. I know it sends because I get responses from people.

DId you try updating Hangouts yet? Are you on the latest version with the Material Design UI and the Hangouts Dialer app too? I just tried sending a text to a friend via Hangouts and it worked perfectly fine. It's showing in the app and on my M360! Try updating and then resyncing all available apps through the Android Wear app settings. That might solve your issue!
The latest Hangouts app is a turd. So many bugs I finally switched to the HTC messaging app on my One M8.
Yeah hangouts suck. Try textra. I love it cuz it's so fast. It has android wear support as of today.

[Q] Command to send Hangouts message?

Ok, so I've found out that Android Wear does a few things really weird:
1. If I'm using the default app for SMS (not Hangouts), I can say "Sent message/text to", along with the message and it will send it.
2. If someone sends me a text through my default SMS app, Android Wear will alert me, but will not let me reply with voice unless I'm using Hangouts as my SMS app.
So if I want to initiate a Hangout with someone, is there a command for that? I can't seem to find it.
Thanks

Message application

Hello. This is for Huawei mate 9 pro Porsche Design LON L29 Android version 7.0
I have set the Facebook Messenger-app as the standard SMS app, and when I get a SMS it showes up in the Messenger app. But as soon as I close the Messenger app the SMS is removed from the Messenger app, and I have to go to the standard SMS app to see the SMS again.
I wonder if anyone else but me have the same problem that I have, and what to do about it?
It's so much easier to have all the texts (messenger messages and SMS) in ONE app.
The phone has been to service two times, but they don't "find any problems" with the phone.
Ps. I can videorecord it if you dont understand what I mean.
Thanks in advance for replies

messaging app

Hi all. Quick question. Using Textra as default app. For some reason when I look at messages on my watch it only shows one side of the conversation. It will show my response but not the other person text. I have also tried it with other apps like pulse. Same issue.
hello, same thing for me and textra. and my responses are send twice.
Thanks.
Galaxy Watch messaging works fully only with native Samsung messaging apps: sms and e-mail
With other apps like Textra only notifications are sent to watch
I passed the samsung messaging by default, then go back to textra and I now have the two people. surely a coincidence but it works. in any case, whether it is one or the other application, it only displays two weeks of messages.
