Each variant has a specific System UI, it be better if you just posted what you changed or added in the LGSystemUI. I get sytem ui fc on H810 with the systemui you posted.
If you would like to mod my systemui your self here are my files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bx-Q0UuRWPxjUjl4ZnNLOUZkSm8

It's working now but the only thing is the alignment is now too close to the clock in the status bar, need to find a way to get center clock mod haha.

is possible to change status bar icons with rom toolbox , but not those of "system theme", i want to change those of other themes i have
Status Bar icons are in the SystemUI.apk in /system/app
changing icons in it is to modify this apk
I'm not sure if rom toolbox can do it or not, just to provide information

You can try and extract the systemUI.apk and then change the .png files with your own. And then zip the folder again and rename the file extension to .apk
It works for me though

These steps is using phone not pc. If using pc it will be more simple than this.
- Extract the systemUI.apk
- In there open res folder
- Go to drawable-hdpi
- In there find the png you want to change (like battery indicator / signal)
- Change the title of your wanted picture to the same name like in the systemUI
- Replace it
- zip the extracted systemUI
- rename the zip file into systemUI.apk
- replace the systemUI.apk from system/app
- set permissions to rw-r--r--
There you go. Do it at your own risk. Because if you forgot to set the permissions right you will ended up at systemUI force close all the time and you will need to flash your rom all the way again.
Remember to backup first.
For my tips
-with the costumized systemUI.apk copy it and put it into /system
- change the permissions to rw-r--r--
- then move it to /system/app then replace it.
That's how I do it. Good luck trying

The pc step almost the same. the pros is only that you don't need to extract the systemUI.apk just open the systemUI.apk with winrar and then just put your wanted png into the systemUI drawable-hdpi. Then put the file in your phone. Just like that.

Ok I followed the steps that you layed out. however, the name of the files of the icons I want are the same as the files that were already there. I did notice however, that the icons that i want are in 5% increments such as at 90% of battery the new icon will appear and at 89% the OLD icon will appear. both icon files are in the folder and both have same name

Just a simple photoshop work.. I know this is really meaningless but anyway, it'll take (at least) a few weeks until we get 4.2 on our GNex, isn't it?
Download :
- Flashable zip for deodexed stock roms : download
[Include widget preview image fix]
- For other rom users : use this png files - download
(Copy appwidget_clock_*.png files to DeskClock.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi/ and preview.png to /drawable-nodpi/)
- Wallpaper : download
(just more yellowish version of one of default wallpapers in 4.1 JB)
I cant get to the folder to copy the file, i checked system/app. Im prob wrong. Where should i go

1) pull your rom's DeskClock.apk from /system/app.
2) copy my png files to destination folder using 7-zip or other program.
3) then push back apk to /system/app...

[GUIDE][poll-added][No-PC]How to sign an apk file & make a flashable zip without PC

[GUIDE][poll-added][No-PC]How to sign an apk file & make a flashable zip without PC
Hello, Many we need to sign apk file such as :-
1)while converting amrv7 games to amrv6.
2)after changing icon/modify any apk.
3)after editing systemui.apk or framewprk-res.apk
And make a flashable zip for upload on Xda !!
But many of us don't have pc(using tapatalk or Xda app) or may be we live out (such as me) and leave pc at home!!
So we can't sign apk with apksigner, apktool# or 7zip!!
"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
As we know
NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION.
So, After some time I find a way to sign apk and make a flashable zip with our android without using pc or Mac!!
''''''"""""""""'''''''"""""""""'''''''""""""""
REQUIREMENTS:-
1)Root explorer (buy it on play store or u may have)
2)ZIPsigner (free)(download it from playstore)(or u can download directly by clicking here

[A] Sign an apk !!

2) change/modify ur apk as u want!!
3) after editing that apk zip that whole newxyz folder!! This time ur folder will be in speedsoftware > zip/archives
4) Now from here u will need the help of ZIPsigner.

Flashable zip
-----------------
1) Download and extract the
sample.zip by root explorer.
Extracted folder (sample) will be in speedsoftware > extracted
2) Now open folder sample you should see two folders: one called "system" and one called "META-INF".
3) Let's start with the "system"
so open it:
In there, will go all files that what
you want to add or replace to the
system. So let's say for example that you want to replace the bootanimation.
4) Make a "New Floder" in sample> system > newfolder* ,name its as "media" *(make sure its aint in CAPS nor with in quotation marks)
5) now simply move the file in
their respective place:
the bootanimation.zip file should go in '/system/media' folder
**If you have more files to add, just follow the logic above; I'm sure you get the idea by now..
Hints
/system/app - all the system apps (SystemUI.apk etc)
/system/framework/ -framework-res.apk,android.policy.jar
/system/media - bootanimation.zip
/system/lib - libraries (*.so)
6) The other folder included in the folder sample(sample) is named "META-INF". So, You may have to Replace the update-binary (if ur flashable zip is not working) inside the META-INF folder with an update-binary got from a zip that works in your phone.
7) if ur work with that folder complete then zip that folder.
8) now open ZIPsigner
-choose input
-Give address to ur zip u have created
-Give address to output where the flashable zip will be saved!!
(as explained above in SIGN APK)
9) Choose auto-testkey as key.
10) press Sign !!

You said about "update-binary"
but what about "updater-script"?
Do I need to replace it too???

Link updated in guide!! u can also download zipsigner by clicking here!!
In many cases there is no need to change updater-script !! It can only edited by notepad++ or high end text editor for android 3.0+ !!
But any one add his/her signature in updater-script then that signature will appear while flashing that zip!!
So its important to don't change it if u don't want another's signature in ur zip!!
Thanks 4 ur support !!
Editing update-script is really necessary for flashing zips like pushing/replacing apps in system and you can add there an auto-mount feature. Anyway, nice guide.

Its easy zarchiever allows us to add or remove files from a zip you can just edit a flashable zip that works on your phone to add the files you want and delete the ones you dont want. And then jst sign it using your method.
