Is there a resolution for this?

Try clearing contacts and contact storage app data and see if that works. Sync/save your contacts before doing this. If not you can always do a factory reset and the problem should be gone. Backup your sms and make a list of the apps before though because you will have to reinstall all of them.

Funny thing is that it only started doing this after I had factory reset the phone.

Do you think that it would cause any issues if I just hit on OK and left it at that?

Well you posted the issue so up to you what you want to do. I just googled that error for you lol and that's what I found, contacts and contact storage.

I switched off completely then on again after a min and no message about acore so maybe its nothing to worry about.

Facebook for Android not working

Just my luck.. I decided to try out .sense's alpha ROM. So I backed up with Titanium Backup and installed the ROM, then restored my data. Now every time I open the Facebook app I get the little spinning circle and a toast comes up at the bottom saying "An error occurred while loading this page.". I've tried what seems to be everything - I've cleared the cache, I've wiped the data for the app and reinstalled it, I've cleared the dalvik cache through recovery and reinstalled the it, I've logged out and in, I've tried using wifi and mobile data 2G and 2G and it just doesn't want to work. What's also weird is that push notifications come through perfectly fine when I receive them, but when I tap on it to open the app, the error message just comes up again.
I saw on a SGSII thread that restoring the app+data when switching ROMs can cause problems, but I've wiped the data and cache...
Can anyone please help me? I don't want to have to get used to another app, I quite like the official one.
We all have that problem, I guess it's just because the app itself is crap.
If you get that error use Facebook 1.5.2 app.. it is working, but it is crap.

If this happens, the phone.com in this case is corrupted by some event. Restoring gives you the original settings of system apps.

Yes you are right: it came from a program to restore you ringtones and apparently the program is messing the contacts database.

I had it again after having used this program. I did a wipe of my contacts database and my phone works again.

You could try clearing your cache/dalvik in recovery. I'm not sure why it would keep telling you that if your box is empty.

Highly doubt it. The notifications should come from your carrier so I'm thinking it's either a bad data (somewhere) or your carrier sending bad info.
Do you have any saved voice mails?
Try this...call your phone from another phone and leave a voice message, Then go in and clear the voice message (7). That might clear the others as well
I've been using Google Voice and I have the same issue. Never found a solution unfortunately.

Phone Freezes When Mass Texting. Please Help If Possible

When I try to mass text more than two contacts my phone freezes, I would select contacts that I want to message and then try to type my message the screen goes black, but the notification bar remains. Can't do anything so I have to just hold down the power button to restart phone. Tried typing message first and then select my contacts, but I still get the same problem. This doesn't happen when texting one or two people. Did a factory reset but the problem still persist. What could possibly be the problem and is there a fix? Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I'm rooted and using stock Touchwiz with CWM recovery.
Clear cache for the messages app and try again. Is this a recurring problem or has it come up only recently?

I have never been able to mass text, so it's a recurring problem. How would I go about to clearing my cache for my message app, I'm using the stock app. Sorry, I don't know much about this, I'm new to rooting and smartphones in general.

Huh. You couldnt do this even on stock (unrooted)? Because if the unrooted stock base has this issue, then all custom stock roms will too...you can try making a nandroid and flashing another custom stock rom, it may just be an issue with what you're on
And no problem, everyone was new to this at one point
To clear an apps cache, you go to Settings > Applications > All apps tab, select the app you want, then wait for the app info page to load and tap the "Clear cache" button

Thanks, went to clear my cache, there wasn't anything to clear. I think I couldn't do this even on unrooted stock, I don't really remember. I've already made a backup before doing the factory reset, which I've now restored and currently using. I'll probably try to flash another rom to see if the problem exist on them as well.

[Q] "Sync' Option Causes Reboots

My i19082 goes into a constantly repeating reboot cycle if the "Sync" function is activated. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance for any comments.

More details? Rooted, or installed any custom mods or etc? Try factory reset, if else not working then you will have to flash your firmware again.

Thanks for the response. I'm a novice - how do I find out if the phone is Rooted? How do I do a factory reset? Or, where can I find information on these issues?

Alright, if like that means you haven't play anything on your phone yet, To resolve that, go to Settings > Backup and reset > factory reset your device.
Warning all apps will be lose your apps and all will be reset to default. (*just like you have newly bought your phone)
You can backup your SMS messages using SMS Backup & Restore app. Search for it in Playstore, If you want to backup your contacts, just export your contacts to SD card.

Or, you can try remove all your account and add them again then disable the Sync, See if it helps, if not, try reset your phone. If you are very unlucky even after reset the problem still presist, you should sent to Samsung Service Centre, maybe is hardware related issue.
