[Q] LG E975 crossflash to E971/3

hi i couldn't find anything definitive so might as well ask.
i have an E975 bought here in the philippines, would it be possible to flash with an E971/3 rom? would i be able to use the 700mhz LTE frequency on my phone after the flash?
thanks.
I have the same question.... i see there's a roadmap sort of thread in the e971 forum regarding EVERYTHING! I hope that an experienced E975 user should make such a thread too! I would have but I just bought this phone.....
Only if the E975 is capable of 700mhz LTE to begin with!
LG Optimus G E971/3/5/6/7
Yes but you will lose the ability to use your back camera. Why not flash a CM10.1 nightly? E975 has em haha
i don't think the E975 supports 700 for 4G/LTE according to gsmarena.com they write this:
4G Network
LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - E975 (market dependent)
LTE 700 / 1700 - E973
LTE 700 / 2600 - E971
ino they say dependent on market but still i guess if 700 was supported they would have put it on the list, but ino it's only indicative not 110% true or i could be wrong.

Which LGOG can be used in Europe

Guys, I'm sorry if my questions are stupid but I'm not much into that. I want to know which versions of the Optimus G can be used in Europe.I want to use both gsm and hsdpa. My carrier offers 900/2100mhz 3g connection. Do you know which version can do the job after unlock? I know that the e975 is the version for europe but its 2 times more exspensive than the others e971/973 etc.
I live in Serbia, and I have E975. Don't know about others versions, but I got this one here brand new for 285 euros...

3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100 - E975
HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - E973, E971
4G Network LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - E975 (market dependent)
LTE 700 / 1700 - E973
LTE 700 / 2600 - E971
I hope this helps.
My e973 worked fine in Poland on T-Mobile. Had fast internet too.
E975 is ok for Europe. don't buy F180,E970,LS970,E971 or 973. Better ask your carrier about it.
Kimitza sayed all!
E975 is the international version

The international version costs much more than the others. I have relatives in US and they can buy it for me for around 250$. E975 costs 250€. Thats why I want to know if the other versions will work.

[Q] Band frequency/LTE/3g Lg Optimus G Pro F240S

Hi,
I have bought and just got delivered a brand new Lg Optimus pro from Korea. The problem is that it would not recognize the band frequency, either for 3G nor 4G. The version I have is f240s and the frequency for 3G is 900 and 2100 (both is used by my currently operator) and for 4G 850 (B5) and 1800 (B3). Now, GPRS/EDGE works and the frequency for 2G is GSM850, 900 1800 and 1900.
I live in Sweden and my operator (Tele2) uses same band for both 3G and 4G. My question is why it won't work. Firmware issues? I have used the commando for the LTE menu (5467#*240#) and when I am trying to change the band for LTE I get a message "getbal has no fram value".
I would really much appreciate any solution or step in the right direction! if anybody has more questions or would like further information don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you again.
It passed about 3 months since you posted. Have you solved the problem? I have an LG Vu 3 (also Korean) and it behaves exactly like yours.

[Q] Can someonehelp me find the version of this phone, and will it work in Canada?

Hi everyone;
First off, if this is in the wrong area, I'm sorry.
I've been looking to get my girlfriend a new phone for her birthday. She has an old Optimus 3D and the screen is cracked. I've been looking online to buy a Optimus G for her and came across a bunch online.
Most of which are listed as F180. I'm not sure what version this ends up being.
I'm hoping to get this phone for her and have it at least work on HSPA+ in Canada on the Rogers Network, but it would be great if it would work on LTE too.
I'm a little confused as to what frequencies Rogers LTE is on. I've read online that it's anything from 700, 850, 1900 , 1700, 2100 and 2600.
According to GSMArena the model frequencies are as follows:
2G Network
GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - E975, E973, E971
3G Network
HSDPA 900 / 2100 - E975
HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 - E973, E971
4G Network
LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - E975 (market dependent)
LTE 700 / 1700 - E973
LTE 700 / 2600 - E971

According to the Optimus G Wiki page Canada has the E971 and E973 models. If the International Version is E973, this should work on Rogers HPSA+ at least, and at least one frequency for LTE.
Is this correct?
Unfortunately I can't post any links right now because I haven't made enough posts, so I can't link to where I plan on buying the phone from.
Any help or suggestions would be great!

[Q] E975 vs E973

What's diffirence? I need new motherboard to my E975. E973 on ebay with cracked screen is pretty cheap. What about differences? I heard that E973 has 8MP camera but some sites says its 13MP like E975. What about bands too? I need 900/2100 working bands like on E975, again one sites says that E973 would work on that bands.
Look here at gsmania: http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_optimus_g_e975-4941.php
4G Network
LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 - E975 (market dependent)
LTE 700 / 1700 - E973
it says E973 has 700 / 1700 LTE not 900/2100 that you need, the E975 depends on market.
