So your answer is to have the thread taken down instead of letting it get fixed? That's the way things go with a brand new device. Things get broken, things get fixed. If you're not prepared to deal with the early quirks then wait until the stable stuff comes out. Nobody is forcing you to root/flash.
Let the mods worry about what threads should be or should not be. Pipe down unless you have something positive to contribute to the development.

you are going to have to do your homework my friend and get your hands dirty.I see people in here flashing roms from other carriers all the time. The most I see is fixes for mms. Honestly its a great forum but if you want to root your phone then you should also learn how to fix it if something goes wrong. With that said there are plenty of tutorials int he development section. Plenty of wikis in the development section and plenty of questions already asked and answered. Take some time skim through and enjoy.
I could of easily of pointed you in the direction you needed to go but quite honestly finding it yourself and learning a little something is a great start. Not trying to discourage you just trying to get you going the right way...

While i have the same kind of problem, my camera didn't install, I just extract apk from rom.
Moving it to /system, changing permission to 211,moving to /system/app.
And I get what i want..
You can pick up "SemcHdmiControlService.apk", then did it the same way.
I don't know why but my Quickpannel.apk isn't work too. so I extracted it and just installed it.
Superuser updated to new version by myself. Using Ultimate HD MOD for XPERIA.
There are few bugs in Jelly sandwich 8.2 installing steps.
Aroma, which can help us update rom, isn't perfect. But you can deal with it, these small problem.
And enjoy the quick and beautiful rom~
p.s. the same reason i can't post in development discussion..

Maxio1998 fixes it in OTA update 8.5! I have found it takes patience with his roms, waiting for his OTAU'S! But it well worth the wait. Just make sure you download all updates sequentially. I've only got a few minor bugs left after 8.5, but they are MINOR so I can live with them! I'm sure I can find answers to those bugs if I look hard enuf on this site! It seems to have all the answers.

The more unanswered threads you leave, the more likely someone wont find their answer.
The thread has been created so deal with it.
Unless a moderator can remove useless threads within hours of their creation, or you find another solution to pointless posts just be helpful or simply dont post. Swearing isnt relevant either...this site is used by everyone.
I dont disagree that people should search, but there are billions of people who use the internet. You cant make them all read the rules. You cant win. So keep your useless "google it" comments to yourself.

Friends cut the crap shall we? Both of you are correct at different aspects, so to be frank both are inevitable at certain situations. So leave it aside and regarding topic, I assume that you are searching to increase internal memory from 380 MB to 420 MB in GB right?
Here is the file, just flash it in flashtool, a bit of warning though it might wipe the partition so I would advise backing up before proceeding!

I had friend with Note 2 on T-mobile and he never clicked on OTA update and his phone took it anyway and wiped his whole phone. I had to reflash stock rom thru odin to get it to even work. Another reason is that I had G flex before my G3 and when it updated to KitKat the battery life truly sucked. Any help will be appreciated.

The following was provided by AutoPrime:
Open LG Hidden Menu (3845#*851#) --> WLAN Test --> OTA Setting --> OFF
(This worked on LG G2.. hopefully work on G3 but won't be confirmed until OTA comes out)
Look, instead of rushing to take an OTA to get the latest software.. think for a moment.
We do no know if the TMO D851 boot loader will stay unlocked in future updates. OTA's can update not only software..
but the boot stack as well.. enabling features to block downgrades.. close exploits.. and all sorts of fun stuff.
so.. instead of taking an OTA.. wait for the files to get posted so we can look at things first.. possibly only updating /system, /boot, modem (maybe tz/rpm)
without updating the rest of the boot stack. ya... do that.
If your running a custom rom and a custom recovery you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Last I knew your phone can't take a OTA with a custom recovery, unless thats changed.

I noticed all of the stock based kernels that belong in development are in the original development but I'm not going to be the one to point it out to the mods. I reported on a couple threads that were not in the correct spot and if I do any more I feel like I would be a nazi.

Here's the thing you have been a member for years you should know the rules by now (they are the same for EVERY phone). If you know the rules and post in the proper places this wouldn't happen. Absolutely not true. At almost 6 million members can you imagine the chaos that would insue with no posting guidelines? A free for all of post where you want, what you want etc? Now I will say name calling is not appropriate either but honestly, and not that this makes it right but if you spend enough time on these forums you tend to get frustrated in repeating the basic rules that you agree to when you join and, at times, perhaps that it's expressed in a reply.
Basically 2 wrongs do not make a right, in the same instance not following the rules never makes a right. Simple enough, post where you are supposed too.

Dude r u for real? Jaguar Dev made a nice tutorial how to upgrade baseband (if u really need cuz updating it make no difference at all, perhaps if ur having random FC or no signal), I suggest again to use search function.
