*Alright guys, after seeing a lot of people post random bugs without providing basic information or logs, I decided to make a simple little write up on some basic rules to the thread.
1. Be courteous to one another & try & be helpful when you can. I can't answer every single question as I'm very busy trying to build the best rom I can make for you guys, so if you know a solution to a problem please answer.
2. If you are using xposed, DO NOT POST BUGS! I have already seen people posting issues only to find out it was due to xposed or one of it's modules.
3. When posting bugs, do so with as much information as possible. We can't help you if you don't give the proper information.*
*****
**** What version or the rom are you on?
**** Clean or dirty install?
**** Mainline or Ultimate kernel?
**** Are you using a theme?
**** If you dirty flashed & have problems, did you try a clean install?

4. If you are having random reboots how about providing a log? These are invaluable as they provide the information to fix a real issue with the rom or to tell me that it is a user error.
5. If you are new to aosp or just don't know much about kernels, it is best to stick with the mainline kernel as it is very stable. No need to mess with the settings either as I have the kernel setup to enjoy out of the box.**

Been running TouchWiz Roms since I got my Note 4. I forgot how great CM roms are!
Only problem I'm having - I get non-stop "Unfortunately, Exchange Services has stopped" messages. I tried full wipes (except Internal), installed latest SlimRemix-trltespr-LP.MR10.Stable, and even tried with no GAPPS.
The only email account I've added was an Outlook.com.
Any idea what I can try?
Thanks!
Mike

When I try and make a call I get no sound (did a full wipe)

Pattern Lock only has a 3x3 - Can this be increased?
Also dev option to kill process after 2 second back key press is missing.

SMS did not work out of the box for me. The normal fix worked though.

Really good clean Rom. For me everything worked immediately without any workarounds. ZION kicking ass with his roms.

Zion this is really a kick ass ROM my friend, thank you for your work on this. So fast vs the touchwiz garbage. Haven't gotten a chance to test much yet but no FCs yet which is a good sign. The one thing that is bugging me visually is a gap between the battery icon and signal strength in the status bar. Even if u remove battery icon, the gap remains there. And yes as mentioned above, u can customize every hardware button except for back which I also use for hold back to kill foreground app.

Lol crap you're absolutely right. I wasn't paying attention and been running cmremix by accident this while time [emoji4] I don't see slimremix ROMs for trltespr at either of the links in the OP. Maybe the others in this thread flashed cmremix also and think it's slim.

I have it but shouldn't share a link in case ZION pulled it for whatever reason.

No worries, I will wait til Zion posts the correct SlimRemix releases. I ran SlimROM on my S3 for years and love it and can't wait to try out SlimRemix on the N4.

Anyone have any screenshots of this rom to share?
I have noticed a lack of screenshots when Dev's post their roms on the T-Mobile Note 4. Seemed to have been common practice in the AT&T and Verizon note 3 Roms.

Yeah Zion just keeps pumping out great stuff. It seems even the flashers can't keep up with him lol.
Let the fun begin.
Cool! You are amazing @ZION959, really killing it with all the updates for remix, and now a slim ROM to boot!
In the op it says the latest version is 1.0 7/12, but the download links only have .7 7/10. Are you still uploading or is that a mistake in op? Just wondering if I should wait.
Thanks!

Nice rom. Just curious. I did a fresh install of the latest release. Can anyone chime in and let me know if the camera is working for you. I'm getting freezes with the built in cameras. I haven't installed anything yet but just the base rom and the gapps. I'm NOT using xposed or anything else.
Switching from CMRemix to SlimRemix, cannot wait to try this out! @ZION959 by far the greatest developer out here!
This is beautiful, i love everything about it.

Thanks for the quick response. I did redownload and reflash using the slim gapps (I may have used the incorrect one on my sdcard..... too many stored so I deleted and started fresh). Cameras are working fine. Thanks for all you do sir.
Also. Touchwiz camera will likely never work on an AOSP rom unless you take the time to port all the necessary supporting files. I like to use ProCapture on AOSP roms. It's really nice. I use it on my Nexus 6.
Oh Zion , you even baked in layers manager (Still have to D/l it but very nice to have in settings) and V4A!
Simply amazing! I love it. You da man! Thanks!
Wanted to know is there a way to disable the lockscreen shortcuts? If not, it's not a big deal but was just wondering.

Without using a 3rd part lockscreen, I don't believe so. If you go under security, you can see the shortcut setting for the lockscreen there. Maybe you can MacGyver something to your liking.
Can we get the option to disable heads....nevermind just found it lol

Yes! What @wifestealer told is true! The ROM already offers lot of features. Moreover we can customize the looks of status bar and navigation bar by applying different themes and do lot more using the CM theme manager!
We can report for bugs which the dev can rectify, but adding new features to an official ROM is not in his hands!

Good ROM!
I used this ROM for about 2 days.
Found no major bugs. Offers good performance. Happy to see a ROM so fluid in it's initial build.
Feature packed to fulfill all the expectations for a custom ROM!
However faced the following issues:
Battery drains fast. I got around 3 - 3.5 hrs of SOT. The standby battery drain was also around 8%.
Gallery FC while changing WhatsApp DP (I'm not sure if this issue was only for me).
Thanks Team-Radium for such a good ROM! Expecting battery optimizations in the upcoming builds!
What Kernel is avaliable for this great rom ?

Have battery issues been solved? I've just installed it in my new moto G. As far a i'm concerned battery life of moto g 2014 vs moto g 2013 is a little bit less, therefore i don't know what to expect.
btw I used this Rom as my dailiy driver in my old moto G great work.
Hello, I 've just installed the new version. No problems at the moment, for the battery I will tell tomorrow after using it.
The system runs fast and smooth, at startup it tells that there is an update, even if I have the latest version.
Today I 've not used the phone so much... however here is some battery stats
I'm not able to post screenshots yet, XDA says that I must have posted at least 10 times.
Anyways, I just wanted to report battery backup. I'm not a heavy user and this rom gave me at least 4:40 hrs. SOT. I started my day at 6 am and went to bed around 1 am.

Here's some small answer to your questions or just answer to questions.
Code:
Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.
Q: Do you have any Telegram/G+ Group to chat and share stuff of the ROM?
A: Check the first paragraphs, you'll find it

If something doesn't work please let me know.
After a super long hiatus Bootleggers 3.0 is finally here! Our musical codename is Frumoasa.
The 3.0 update in general
This update is more like adding some stuff that users requested though all this time, some of them didn't made the cut but features like accent color on QS, Brightness control by pressing the statusbar, Flashlight on call and call recording is merged. We added two themes,as we said before and also, added some customization to Launcher3, the At a Glance widget is cool but the Google Sans font may get annoying for a while, so we added fonts to tweak it at your taste, or even use the System default one, added the possibility to set it to uppercase because some fonts looks cooler on uppercased text, and also spacing in case you want the A E S T H E T I C out on your home, and don't loose the accuracy of the Google Weather info. So hope this update worths the wait. Also, talking about updates, we should give you an update related to Android P and our plans.
Quick Notes (Important)
You will get Vendor image mismatch at the first boot. Don't worry it is not an issue. Just tap okay and the warning will go away.
The Battery Life Will Improve In Following Recharge Cycles
I suggest you to do a clean flash from 2.2
This is the Finaly Oreo build next one will be PIE if I am successfully able to boot it up and fix the bugs.
Sorry for skipping the 2.3 cause Camera error took time to fix. Enjoy Thanks.

You should get permission before using a custom kernel as prebuilt. It's not a rule but this is what other rom builders do to respect kernel maker.
By stable do you mean that it doesn't have the oreo specific bugs that all other roms are suffering from?

But, yeah, in all seriousness, permission should have been obtained.

From a quick check:
- no 'ChopChop' (not a bug)
- reboot once, to get Video playing
- OpenCamera: flash is not synched; preview does not work
Otherwise good for me, and pretty complete ...
(forgot to check audio in calls)
Chop chop does not work.
Double twist to camera works.
Flash works but not synchronized, thus rendering the flash useless.
System UI seems laggy at times (using a moto g4 plus 3 gb RAM variant, nightlight is off too).
Frostbitten kernel is being used.
Calls are working fine.
Yet to test battery life.
Default font looks nice :3
Using gapps mini.
Some screenshots
Yet another buggy 8.xx rom. ??
Fix bugs before or wait for it.

If anyone is having issues with new kernel (freezes, random reboots, no data/wifi)
Plz flash this kernel:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/135b3Xt9IssT83CFtEzMzkg6USperRkp9/view?usp=drivesdk
It is Orion_WIP3_2 kernel in a AK2 (Anykernel2) zip. (Thanks @JohnFawkes)
You can just flash this zip as a regular zip..
So no more ".img" files that need to be flashed in boot partition.
This also means that you don't need to reflash Magisk after flashing a kernel!
As always "Encounter bugs? = Logcat" cant fix stuff based on a description of what happened. :good:

Thread needs some updating, will do that soon

Thanks for the update. Will try on my 930ds
Really enjoying this; working from flash. H933
Thanks for this!
Is this usable on the current bootloader/modem for the H932 (20s)? I know there is issues with sound not working on the last few updates with AOSP ROMs. Thanks in advance.

Not to sure actually. It has the Orion kernel atm which had fixed sound issues before, but I might update room again in a few days a Markus has pushed some new changes
Why there is no sound preset in settings?
Running this for 2 days in my H932 clean flash.
I haven't had any FC or rebooting.
SafetyNet passed with out needing to change fingerprint.
I haven't had the fingerprint reader hardware error a single time.
Audio is a decent loudness.
However it takes all my apps an extremely long time to launch which is a little annoying and I don't know how to fix it.
No using any Magisk modules
Using the kernel that can with the ROM
This is my only issue thus far
Any help would be appreciated

Is this usable on the current bootloader/modem for the H932 (20s)? I know there is issues with sound not working on the last few updates with AOSP ROMs. Thanks in advance.

Cool. Will the new build also include changes to AOD that Markus had made recently or they haven't been pushed yet?

Hello to my H932 users on this ROM. I am currently on Havoc and I'm only having a few issues on the ROM. Those issues are, the V4A audio mod not working as it did on other ROMs, and sometimes the battery drops dramatically, and other times it doesn't. That being said, I'm getting the urge to flash again; and from what I've read here so far this ROM seems to be stable with good audio.
If any 932 users can tell me about battery life, and if they're using audio mods, and how the ROM is performing overall, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Nate
Did BL remove 'force expanded notifications' ?
I can't for the life of me find it in this build.
I wiped cache , Dalvik cache , system , data and flashed the rom and gapps.
The rom very stuttery, couldn't use it at all.. The same happened with lineage OS.. But aosp based roms work smooth on my phone.
I have h930ds , did i do something wrong?
Anyone on h933 or h931 having issues with system UI auto redrawing and phone screen turning off randomly?
