Supports lvm I have a find 7 not find 7a the ROM is tested on find 7 you should see if camera is working or not on find 7a. I am in contact with mikeng of cm to keep myself updated with everything regarding both the devices

Looks great!
---------- Post added at 07:50 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:49 PM ----------
I will test it and report any bugs. Thanks for this ROM. Also, in the future, can you merge the new kernel (DespairKernel R1) which currently is in testing mode. Thanks.

No we want to keep it simple don't want to boost this as a putover . But you can flash kernels using a custom recovery and your kernel aduitor to tweak it just for the sake of it I will see what is best to take from despair kernel in future releases.

This looks awesome! Glad to have a new rom for the find 7 series. I'll be checking this out over the weekend for sure!
EDIT: I've been using this ROM for the whole weekend, and can safely say that while this device doesn't come with all the features of other ROMs, they certainly have a speedy and solidly built ROM! I will now be using this as my daily driver, as your ROM seems to give me the best battery life of any ROM available (I should mention I'm also using the Despair Kernel too).
Awesome job guys! Can't wait for the next update!

Hello I am the team leader, i would like to say this a initial build .
This rom will be completely diffrent and we hope independent as some others are.
If you have any suggestions about further improvments features either pm me or make pull requests.
Enjoy and thanks for positive support.

Tried the rom and im amazed. Stock keyboard is awesome. Love it. Everything is smooth and composed. Already request some features. Hope to see this rom grow stronger. Good job dev. Some screenshot attached. If anyone miss Color OS camera, here is the link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/port-coloros-camera-cm11s-t3030369
Works fine here.
Edit: OP please update installation process for Find7 users. Some of us still new and this device is complicated when installing custom rom. Also need to flash SuperSU zip to obtain root.

Can you help me out here? for me my internal storage not showing up.
do i need to mount it in the custom recovery?
---------- Post added at 19:15 ---------- Previous post was at 18:35 ----------

If you prefer miui i think this rom is not for you. It is near stock aosp with extra features but not crowded. It still in early release so there is not much cuatomization.

Question, what is Metaon? In simpler word. Does it already merge in splm rom?

Mateon engine is for audio and ram management we will surely in future release make our own audio engine which will be open source and robust which shouldn't be using any Sony or any other libs
With mateon engine its like that audiofx won't work.
ROM will have a huge change from aosp aspects from Monday but will have everything opensource.
Well I look after find 7 and I am the technical lead who develop apps and features for the rom and in that spirit if you want more and more features from everywhere then I am sorry this Rom isn't for you we don't follow all in one concept . Our progress will be slower but we promise a better experience. Not better than any other ROM as everybody has their own liking and taste. We will do what we like but will also listen to the users and bug reports and reporting issue are supported on threads and social network or any other means possible . Don't post xposed frameworks related queries , statements and issues here. Use a stock firmware if you use xpose or if you use it then don't blame the ROM blame the module for not working properly or creating issues with the ROM .
We will surely try to solve issues if any but just not xpose and last thing
We encourage feature request but this Rom has that and this ROM has this . we don't encourage such statements. We will just add what is more feasible and usable as we don't want the features that aren't used anytime or just a put up or are gimmicky .
Well we will in Marshmellow release will start nightlies if possible. But for now we need to settle down and build up a team and a strong spirit to start with.
Sent from my X9076 using Tapatalk

keep up the good work..hope to see spike lab making it big in near future and probably on some device...I'm building a protopye ..will pm if ur Rom is needed but I'm looking for a Rom similar to MIUI + Aosp features..

KitKats for HTC One X

Hello to all HOX users,
This is my first post and probably the last post for HTC One X, I hope you like the concept. I was looking for something on this forum but eventually found out that this device doesn't has KitKat Production or I might be wrong but i literally couldn't able to find any Rom based on CM11 so i had to make this small thread.
Hope that you might like it.
*** Since i don't own One X so flash it at your own risk. Final Choice is yours only!

And there are many more ROMs, I've just give you some idea.
Previously I've been asked by the Moderators for Desire HD which Kernel Source has been used when i brought XperiaHome 4.4.2 to DHD,But sadly i wasn't able to answer because there was Aroma Installer in Chinese language, which i couldn't able to understand or further more able to Install it in my device,So due to that reason i had to take help of some of Devs in DHD forum.
So if any dev want to start new thread or help other HOX users they make take link from here and started to work on it. ROM will be Multilang so don't worry. If any correction needed then feel free to do it. I don't own the device but i do care about others.
This thread won't be close because i've attached few example of Kernel Source from above listed ROMs. So i expect HOX users might get some KitKat taste or some different taste in upcoming days.
All the ROMs made by Chinese Devs so credit goes to them, and Thanks goes in my pocket But yes,it's ready to flash ROMs. No questions with that. If you find any unnecessary app then delete by yourself, they made according their taste. So i hope no one will raise questions like "Why there are some Third-Party Apps Pre-installed".
Thanks if you like my work. Job done. Rest is upto you friends.
We have kitkat roms, available in the original dev section.......

can i flash 4.4.4 gapps or it has to be 4.2.2???
U have to flash 4.2.2 gapps link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2405292
menu and back lights do work...'
EDIT: when you press on storage in the settings it fc, HOW to change keyboard language??? i cant understand anything its all chines....i installed the language enabler but it doesnt change everything
Using for nearly an hour and still no bugs. The rom is beautiful
Edit: After enabling english through language enabler, the storage setting in Settings force closes. Everything else works fine. I got amazed by the audio quality though. The ROM comes without root so u have to manually root it. The battery life is not very good but manageable. Call quality is good too.
thats the problem...even after enabling english more than half the settings are in chines....
More screenshots
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/refwlvpdxptclej/AAAtOrxsjM0eEB5NdETqNFjha?dl=0
but you cant add more languages to the keyboard because the language settings are in chines
Im using a different keyboard
Very happy to see this Only sad that its based off 4.2.2

It's a very beautiful ROM. Very less bugs and the ROM is pretty smooth. I found the audio quality to be really good. Call quality is same as other ROMs but better than cm11. The notification shade does not have any toggles. Toggles are present along with the recent apps menu.
I tried it out. Very nice ui when will samsung learn. But it was very laggy and i swithced back.

And ya +1 for @dixan43 post.
No data on sim 2 ? Is it only me or anyone else?
LOL ! I am a fan now..!!
Hey, @Tarun93
I am a stalker now, ROM stalker you can say,
Carbon KK -> CrDroid -> Nameless -> Euphoria -> Carbon LP
=> This ROM is even better than your Euphoria, I liked the Tab style settings accessible with only a slide. :good:
=> I tested everything and was satisfied with everything. This ROM is smooth and stable than any other OS.
=> The disable HW buttons doesn't seem to be working, but I don't care coz I prefer the HW keys more.
=> I didn't get any WhatsApp force close till now, which is gr8.
=> The kernel is also sweet and simple. and Guys turn on MP Decision to fix the MAX CPU varying and heating at start. It is not enabled by default.
I don't care if you don't update the others, kindly keep updating this. I will wait.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
First time flashing CyanogenMod 12.1 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash CyanogenMod.

You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates me more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking or ask the same question over and over again.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
LOGS LOGS LOGS!!!! Use this: SysLog by Tortel
If you have a hard reboot (to the vendor boot logo, not the CM boot logo), use adb or any other rile explorer tool to pull a copy of
/sys/fs/postore/console-ramoops
after the reboot and provide that.

Issues:
all cores are online all the time
call recording
fingerprint sensor
flip cover / smart view case support
fm radio
other gestures (I don't even know what they are because I didn't run stock long enough to find out so if you want support tell me)
selinux is in permissive mode
With the gapps that I'm using there is also an issue with the play store app which will fail to install certain apps if you have a sdcard mounted. The workaround is to go to Settings >> Storage and unmount the sdcard and then install the app. I currently believe that this is a lingering gapps problem.
[*] These features I am not planning to implement them in 12.1 because the time to do so would be very high and they have changed entirely in 13. Hopefully the fingerprint sensor will be easy in 13 after Huawei releases the M build.

Not yet.
I think I just have to change the installer script to allow you to install it but at an ALPHA stage, I don't want to have added confusion of multiple devices. Once it gets more stable and more people independently figure out to change the installer script and report that it works, I'll feel more confident making the change to allow it...
Great job so far, especially figuring out the rear cam
The gapps I've been using on my test builds that seem to work is gapps-5.1.x-20150404-minimal-edition-signed.zip located here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934550851
On a side note, your source code is linked to asus moorfield kernel...is that a typo? - EDIT, I see it's changed
Again, great job!

Updated the "source code" link (I forgot about that field xda makes you fill in when I cloning another device to help me create the thread).
Speaking of the kernel, we are definitely having some serious slow downs because the source code that was officially released doesn't seem to actually match the software that was released but wimberly (is that @wimberly6, I'm not sure?) has been helping to try to get the right source released. Kudos to him for that.

Am an L22 user. Am using previous build with camera bugs .
And I will change installer to workout and let you know .
Thanks for your build .
Thanks a lot for this guys! I'm so impressed. Do you guys know if fingerprint works on this or will in the future? Keep up the great work, I am loving this so far.
Excited about this. Thanks for the hard work. Looking forward to try it if you get the encryption support worked out (I use a work app that is fine with root, but requires encryption).
Thank you. Will try when it is stable!
I am very glad to see CM build. Great Job guys.
will install on my L-22 with stable build. till then waiting............

Oops, I forgot that on my list of issues. Short answer: no and it won't in 12.1. See the second post for a longer answer.

This one is all @crpalmer, likely with help from @ciwrl, @deadman96385 &@inkslinger. I did not contribute to this.
I'm looking into getting the fingerprint scanner working, but with my limited skills & possible missing stuff in the kernel source, the excellent devs working on this ROM will most likely figure it out long before I can.
This is a great ROM for an alpha. It is indeed smooth

[A] - INTRODUCTION
This is a continuation of a previous port of Resurrection Remix for the FIND7.
The predecessor was discontinued by the foregoing maintainer soon after its start within a month's period. This port was set up independently from it, all new from scratch, escpecially with proper LVM-Implant (i.e. w/out corrupted sdcard0, see images in the upper screenshot compartment of this page)
... more?
A lot of maintainers stopped their activies for the FIND7. It happened several times to me with different ROMs since I own this device. I really got fed up with the situation:
Only a limited number of ROMs left available for the FIND7 - shrinked down even more when counting only those with LVM-support. As soon as you get used to it, the individual maintainer in charge doesn't care anymore.
I prefer reliability and continuity in real life and therefore - surprise! - I'm really not in the mood exchanging my "technical assistants" on a monthly basis just because the geeks have left the playground for new toys...
Since Resurrection Remix is an awesome, well balanced ROM, I wanted to keep using it! Including enhancements and security fixes in future, of course. And I didn't want to buy a new (maintained-for-how-long?) phone just for that reason. The Devs @ RR are dedicated and strive for sustainment and stability just as I do.
Obviously, they can't take care for each and every piece of hardware on the market. - What to do...?
<b>If nobody else does it - you'll have to do it yourself!</b>
So I did. Still wondering about it, since I didn't have a clue : -)
---
I'd like to share this port with you to enlarge the (limited) choice for us FIND7 users. BTW, since it has eaten an enormous budget of my time and resources, it would be real waste (and blame) not to ... especially as I participated from the work of so many people plus individuals supporting me personally to get this whole thing together.
Hall of Fame:
Being myself an advanced user who had no deal with "porting" or "maintaining" until very recently, I'm very grateful to the following individuals for their personal support:
@Schneiderle - not even owning this device by himself, he was a patient teacher to me "Android Infant" helping me understand the basics and preparing the ground
@maxwen - for his useful hints on LVM, since he has done it properly for Omni and TWRP
@anders3408 - implemented LVM for DU and let me share his work (+ lots of useful hints!)
Thank you, guys!
Thanks to:
Google for creating an alternative to the "fruit monopoly", CyanogenMod and ResurrectionRemix-Team, among many many others, I'd like to express my respect to those in the communicty who spent their time in creating Tutorials and How-To's, so beginners have a chance to get into this without attending University.
I'm also thankful to people like @Entropy512 who made LVM available to the FIND7 initially and therefore saved a lot of people from claiming their Oppo as "real bad buy".
(B) - LEARN MORE about RR, support and unwanted features
If you have specific questions concerning features, requests, bug reports etc., visit the capitol of ResurrectionRemix directly and get involved.
You'll also get there a full list of all features, support and up-to-date info.
Don't blame/flame if something doesn't work - check with others first: if other people with other devices have equal "unwanted features" - then post in the RR-forum - not here.
[C] - MISCELLANEOUS
I am not a dedicated maintainer nor will I be 24hrs around to nanny. I don't code anything (except for the purpose of mixing things up : - )
I just brought existing stuff of other genius' together, so the whole mixture works in this specific device. No more - not less.
This needs to be re-done for fixes and enhancements from the "ethereous" (=>genius) part of the Android world from time to time. I'll take care for these updates as time allows and as long as I will be using the device myself - this should should be for a while from now, at least up to mature "Nougat", let's see from there.
However - by downloading und using this port you declare: not to ask for ETA(!)
This ROM is a well-balanced and sophisticated one, that's why it's my favoured.
Go and try it if you haven't done so - and you'll see why!
Here we go:
[D] - FLASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
BEFORE FLASHING - SAVE YOUR DATA!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Like in real life, you should have a basic understanding about what you are doing. Whatever you do: You'll do it at your own risk. I'll take no liability for anything. If you don't agree - don't touch it!
Coming from whatever (everlasting-beta) stock ROM by Oppo:
If you previously changed your partition type with Oppo, revert to the original (default) FIRST.
(Should you have created it with 2.1.5 and up (without resizing,) you can leave it as it is).
Then
- Connect your phone to a PC via USB and
- Unlock your phone if this is your fast attempt to install a ROM (fastboot oem unlock)
- Flash TWRP recovery (fastboot flash recovery TWRP-Version.img)
- Reboot to Recovery
Proceed with steps below
Preparing for LVM
Setting up the whole internal storage partition w/out splitted
storage for apps / data requires the following prerequisites:
- TWRP Recovery installed (nothing different)
- Using setuplvm.zip (get from upper download compartment of this thread and save on your external sdcard for later use)
Setting up LVM
- Go to TWRP-Recovery
- Be super-pedantic: Wipe system/data/cache/dalvic
- Flash setuplvm.zip (will wipe everything incl. internal storage!)
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash ROM
- Flash GApps
- Reboot
Errors while setting up LVM?$&%??
- Reboot to TWRP Recovery and flash setuplvm.zip again.
- Reboot to TWRP after that again to proceed flashing.
Coming from another ROM
Note:
It's Aliens's Law to flash modem first to avoid problems with immigration. Travelers from Oppo Stock ROM have a visa and don't have to.
- Get modem files (from upper download compartment of this thread - save on your external sdcard)
- Book into Recovery
- Flash modemxxxx.zip
- Be super-pedantic: Wipe system/data/cache/dalvic
- Reboot to Recovery
- Flash ROM
- Flash GApps
- Reboot
Note: If you currently use whatever Unified XX flavor : Revert to the default partition layout with the tool by the respective provider prior to flashing this ROM.
Then proceed with above steps. Failure to do so may result in unwanted behaviour. The least you may expect is a "corrupted" sdcard.

Little Q & A
Check the General FAQ of Resurrection Remix Headoffice
This port is designed for the *FIND7s (X9076)*,
since that's the device I own. It has been reported working with the Find7"a" version, too. Make sure you'll reduce the screen density to "480" in settings after successfull flash. Applies to "A"-users only. EDIT: The last version of RR w/ MM (5.7.4) has an extra build for the Find7a. See Post #3 below (Download links).
New LCD support? - No.
It has been reported that this port does not support the new LCD. Although it is built-in the sources, users report it simply doesn't work.
There are kernel patches available in the net, though, they have side effects beyond your control - so no recommendation from this side. Sorry.
This port comes with proper LVM support. Any other?
You can use LVM if you want. Or keep using the original partition layout. That's the freedom of choice you'll get with this port. No other flavors are being supported (see OP, Section D)
This ROM comes pre-rooted. Is it possible to un-root?
Yes. Install SuperSu (see Download Section abv). In the settings of SuperSu you'll see options for unrooting your device.
Do I have to donate if keep using this ROM?
You don't have to at all, no matter if you just give it a try or keep using it forever....it's all open and free of any charge! If you are very satisfied and feel like donating, well, I won't reject : - )
See the "Donate to me" button on the left or in my profile. Thank you!

Thanks for continuing Resurrection Remix builds. Does this rom supports F2FS partitions on /data, /cache, /externalsd? and does this also support Coldbird Unification Method? Thanks.
@opposeeker thank you man! Works great. And like before it is working on my find 7a x9006 version so you can edit the post to support this version as well

Don't know about coldbird, but this does work with the chinese partition layout; tried it myself
Tested now and I confirmed that only external sdcard is supported to use F2FS partition. It won't boot when /cache partition is formatted to F2FS, when /data partition is formatted to F2FS, the Encryption Unsuccessful prompt will appear. Coldbird partition will be unify the storage upon using the Chinese unified zip file.
meh... another rom wich have not support for r63419 Display. Useless for me
Thx @opposeeker n @RoppoFon. I love u guys

If you'd kindly asked, whether this may be on the list for the future, you'd have gotten a friendly reply...since this thread is online not even one day(!) and I am still so happy that we have a future now with this ROM.
Too bad you've missed the chance to get on the beta list.
Many of us have this version of find7 (the display r63419 ), and your rom , like many others are not suitable for our devices. If this were a new problem , I would understand that it was not covered , but it is something that happens many months (or years) ago, and developers follow cooking roms that do not solve this. Inconceivable and useless . But calm down my friend, do not bother to fix it, I dont need this useless rom, in fact, I will sell this phone soon, with Omnirom installed , which works fine from the beginning.
Tried this rom on a 7a. It works perfectly (just have to adjust the dpi) but I noticed there's a big battery drain from Cyanogenmod System.
Hi dev could please see this, Problems or Features Request:
Can not disable hardware navigation keys when enabling software navigation keys. *problem*
Can not use F2FS partitions properly on /data and /cache partitions *feature request* I hope this will be added in this rom and take the speed advantage of F2FS over EXT4.
Enable Coldbird partitioning method out of the box without using chinese unify zip. *feature request*
QS Tiles must like crDroid/Cyanogenmod style where user can add multiple tiles without like clutter on the long list. In CyanogenMod and crDroid, you can scroll and select QS Tiles from left to right, in RR you can add but it is listed on a long list manner. *feature request*
@opposeeker installed this, choose SD card as internal storage, Unable to copy backup from system to phone using USB even after changing from charging to file transfer
Flashed this last night, running very well so far. I haven't found any issues yet. Thanks for this amazing rom
Charging is running out quickly. I wonder if there will be improvement in the new version?
Does this support the newer lcd?
thanks
