Hello all,
I have a G4 VS986 manufactured 8/2015. I kept up on the G4 because I was a G3 owner prior. I don't have any "major" touch issues but I would say the G3 was more responsive.
My question, did the LG keyboard update help users? If so has the Apk been shared here on Xda? If not can someone who is rooted share the updated Apk in the Apps and Themes section? (I have gone through pages and do not see it, please correctly me if I missed it).

I havent looked at it because I'm not a developer and i wouldn't really know what I'm doing. Maybe someone can port some of the apps from it or something, like the social network app
OK I have an LG Optimus LS670 (Rooted)
Before I backdated my firmware and re-rooted this phone I had the internal phone number, imei, all data changed to my own.
I even removed sprints proxy they use through the default browser to my own.
For the life of me I cant seem to find the .apk or app that I used to change this info.....I feel like an idiot I really cant find it anywhere.
Can someone hotlink me to an app or apk to change this info within my phone.....I know its possible I have done it before, just dont remember whee I found it...

LS670 is not optimus G and maybe searching the forum for your model will yield you desired result.

Hi Everybody. I did a short search but there was nothing poping up with my keywords, sorry i I looked up the wrong ones..
I got my new LG G4 on Friday. Cool Phone but the Theme is nothing for me. I dicovered LG's Smart World App, got an account and then wanted to download a theme... the only thing that happend was the message that the action was not available for my region. And it is this excact setting you can't change of course. So well, does anybody else have this problem? What did you do to solve it?

Yeah, I've had pretty much the same problem.
I discovered the Smart World app on my new G4 and through it created an account but any time I try to download a theme or access settings or pretty much anything else for that matter I get an "UNSUPPORTED COUNTRY" message on the screen ( I live in Ireland). There doesn't seem to be a way of re-registering with a new email address to try again and although I've contacted LG customer support and they've said this was "weird" and they were escalating this to their technical team I've had no help or resolutions offered.
I too would be interested to hear if anyone else has a "fix" for this or any other ideas.
It's not a majorly important facility to have but if it is there, simply put, it should work!

Well at least its good to hear I'm not crazy or just dreamt about at night *lol*
I think I try by writing to LG support that they should delete just all of my data from the system. Like that I should be able to Start over..

I purchased a lg g4 h815 to use here in Canada. Work awesome! Only question I have is there is no Canada optionfor location in the LG smartworld so it will not allow me to log into my account. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this small issue? Thanks for any suggestions!!

Hi.
I've had much the same problem from Ireland. The last reply I've had from LG was that if your country is not listed....tough (paraphrasing) and they gave me a link to an Irish Smart World site that seems to be useful for smart tv's etc but no use for the smartphone!

I had the same issue, I purchased the same phone and live in ireland and Smartworld isn't available in my country, so I just logged in as United Kingdom and it let me log in and download from there. This may help, not sure though?
Hello, if anyone has the LG Wing from AT&T, can you list what are the pre installed apps? Reason I'm asking is because I bought one LG phone, the LG Velvet 5G and it had too many pre installed apps on it, like CNN, games, etc. Or if the question has already been answered, please link the post.

AT&T is notorious for bloatware.Factory reset it,and delete what you don't want.
