What is AudioFX? Audio does work but...?
Sent from my XT1562 using Tapatalk

How are the screen transitions? Same lags like the stock or this rom is smoother?

Is this the same build you posted in the other thread?

Audio works, but there is some bug for example with Skype call or the AudioFX app (from CM)
 @squid2 is working on this

Hum, a little smoother, but the kernel needs more tweaks. (this is a first beta build )

Yep, new build will be made when some issues will be fixed

So basically if you're relying on the Android Equalizer / Skype it won't work? That's fine. This is a beta release after all.
You and @squid are doing good work! Keep it up!

I get no service. Only wifi working... Else everything seems to work just fine.

I'm getting service. Same with cm12. Someone said they aren't getting service, but I am. It takes forever to register that though.

Everything seems to be working for the most part. Just a bit sluggish. Works great for a beta stage well done. Also audio doesn't seem to be outputting at all through the headphone jack. @vache @squid2 @Shreps

So far great. A couple of blank screens here and there. Pressing power fixes it. Battery is great, performance is great. Only issue, voice is soso. On calls it has a bit of static in the earpiece, and the volume isn't the best. Also, speakerphone isn't working. Definitely a daily for me otherwise though. Great job

Everything works pretty well. My mobile connection isn't as stable as it was out of the box, but is definitely use able. WiFi also works. The only problem I have is with GPS. Anytime an app tries to use it, boom, OS crash and reboot. As I workaround I just set location settings to WiFi n cell tower for now. But GPS would be nice in then future just a heads up about my experience with the rom so far.
Otherwise everything works great, including the notification light which I love.
Great work @vache and @squid2 and @Shrepsand whomever else is working on this. Keep it up!

Motorola Camera & Gallery
I just tried the Motorola Camera & Gallery on my PAC build (pac_lux_LP-MR1.Beta-3.Unofficial_20150920-144324)
and it's working fine.
I used the zip made here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/apps-motorola-camera-gallery-apps-t2965282
Flash the zip in TWRP
Update the Camera app from Play Store
Enjoy !

I can confirm to any one using the XT1562 and has the loss of signal like I did, if you flash all the way back to stock using the XT1562_LUX_RETASIA_DS_5.1.1_LPD23.118-12, then reflash twrp, then reflash your custom rom of choice, all is now working perfect and has been for 24 hours +
I must add I am not currently using PAC Rom, I am using CM rom, but I had the loss of signal on both roms and now perfect, no problems at all.

Haven't been able to install pacman. When I factory reset, wipe system and flash pacman+gapps, I'm stuck at 'unlocked bootloader' warning screen in a loop.
Can't seem to figure out why.
Currently running stock Asia rom with squid kernel and exposed.

Hi,
FYI - i flash your Sep 20 build and can't use SIM 1 AND SIM 2!!!
I can't enter my PIN, only emergency call is working.
My device is a XT1562 Single SIM
For the dual SIM support i flash the ASIA ROM.
With the sep 17 build, SIM 1 and SIM 2 work perfectly.

Mine! Will fix up OP later.
Guess you liked my idea,...lol.
Time for me to find some other project to start I guess.
Just what I've been waiting for! Downloading now...
This is so awesome!!! I have tried this ROM before on my Nexus 7 and never thought it would come to this phone (well the Verizon one anyways).
Thanks for all your hard work and support for this phone!!!
I can't edit my contacts. When I select a contact, the menu button does not come up. Could I have hit something in the settings that I'm not aware of? Other than that, running smoothly.
Figures, I just finished setting up CM 10.2. I'll try this tonight.

It would be so nice if the HTC One allowed you to have several ROMs on your phone to switch between. Probably my most missed feature from my previous Droid Bionic.
Does this have the IR support workaround patch that was mentioned in the CM 10.2 thread?

Does not have the patch. Mainly cause it wouldn't work for me in my private build. Guess it will be in next built. I hope CM fixes it soon.

I still may try it regardless. I don't want to sound pushy at all. I am so grateful for what you are bringing to this phone. Thanks for all of this!

Welcome to PAC you little black sheep of the m7 series.
Nice work @Flyhalf205
Bugs I've found:
- When coming out of airplane mode, I have to cycle it again to get data.(EDIT: Seems to have resolved itself after a couple reboots)
- Seems the "Notification Lights" and "LED Control" might conflict, as I can't get either to fully do what's intended.
- Spelling suggestions in the messaging app cause it to force close.
The following just seem to be Verizon 4.3 ROMs in general.
- When other end hangs up during a call, call is reported as lost.
- Can't send MMS. No errors, it just never gets past sending. (EDIT: Seems to have resolved itself after a couple reboots)
- Changing the notification panel background (opacity or image) causes a System UI FC loop.
That's all I've come across so far, other than that, loving the ROM.
PAC is now official New build is out! OP is updated
It seems small, but I rely heavily on the vCard via sms functionality in the sense sms app. Can't seem to find a solution on the market. Is there a solution here?
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
YES!
Used PAC 4.2.2 on my Inc2 and was really hoping to see it come to this device!
Installing after work and will report back
EDIT: Got it all setup and no bugs at all so far. Will keep updated
Thanks!
I'm still having problems getting the three "menu dots" in both Contacts, and the stock messaging app. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I did a complete wipe & reinstalled the latest version. Thanks.

My WiFi keeps disconnecting, does this happen to anyone else? Clean flashed already, issue persists nonetheless.
Also sometimes there is no data connection, even though the phone says I'm still connected to my WiFi network.

yep, warranty is now void.........downloading now
Very nice work, as with all the PacMan Roms.
Just a quick update on initial installation and findings
First, the initial installation was a breeze, flew right through the wireless set up,flew through the restoration of recently used apps,no signal issues(so far, the system hasn't had time to settle),wifi is connected perfect and hasn't had a drop at all, over all a very nice, fast Rom
1)Issue....SuperSu had a problem updating binaries, tried it several times to no avail, I had to drop the update supersu zip on my sd card and flash it from recovery
2) do we have screen record function?
3) I see the stock camera and google camera is broke and open camera works as a stand alone camera, but I have another workaround for camera and video that works on this Rom my thread is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att/help/camera-video-lollipop-roms-t3052690
Thanks OP
Downloading now..
Changed script and flashed it on my d2tmo and working fine with as happening with other ROMs camera is taking only photos after two taps on screen but front camera not working and video also not working
Hope CM will be fixing this soon ?

Battery life is always a YMMV deal on all ROMs. Apps & user interaction will always determine battery life, as well as mods & kernels etc.... However I get great battery life running this ROM
Is there any hope for the stock camera to work without need for the workaround? Im on Pac ROM from day one but never upgraded to v5.02 for sol reason I have few apps which needs stock camera and did not work with the workaround. Just wishing one day will get the stock cam work.

I have extreme faith that CM Devs will get the cam going. There is alot of work being done. It's getting close. Hang tight.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Will this conflict with any mod I'm using?
A: As long as it doesn't have any entropy related stuff, its okay. Since the kernel already comes with an inbuilt entropy generator, it will conflict with the ones from mod, causing a poor, stuttered performance!
Q: Deep Sleep isnt working for me, Google Services causing wake-locks, what to do?
A: Go to settings, Privacy, Privacy Guard, All apps, long press Google Services, and deny/disable wake-locks! (Thanks to @Paget96 for the solution)
Q: Which version should I flash
A: Flash kernel with model number (P705), don't use (P700) or you may have problems with deep sleep
Q: Which frequency is the safest
A: The default frequency, ~1000MHz, is the safest!
But, there's no harm in overclocking upto 1300MHz.
You MAY face some issues on 1250MHz-1300MHz, but 1200MHz is stable as 'rock'!
Q: WiFi doesnt work for me
A: Reflash ROM and Kernel
Q: How to logcat?
A: Here
A problem in ROM not reported?Make a logcat post here
Finally, lollipop for my l7.
SIM card (mobile network) can't detected, waiting for fix. Tanks Jonas Cardoso & Caio88BR. Sorry for my english
Yeah, the ROM is better than most of the kitkat Roms, only RIL is a major problem, but I think it will be fixed soon.

5 days to CM13, or around of it.
Im trying to fix lag with the gapps, working hard, not today.
Sent from my E435 using XDA Labs
thanks but my p705 is to hard to running your cm11 and cm12.1.
Works great, nicely done. i hope for ril fix so that I can use it as a daily driver.
I think that IMER was working on cm12 and nfc, flashlight and ril always worked on his roms. But I don't know what happened with him because non of his Ukrainian sites work anymore and his Twitter account is not being updated.
Too bad
Thank you OP for your hardwork.
I founded some minor bugs:
1. the airplane mode triggers automatically from the notification panel, and turning off from the power button menu wont disable, have to do from the panel itself.
Edit: This is rather a visual bug. When the keyboard is up, the notification drawers comes down completely transparent, just like my lockscreen, So i thought i was typing, but in reality the drawer was down and i tapped the airplane mode icon.
2. The lockscreen sometimes comes empty (can only see wallpaper and status bar), i have set a pattern lock and i have to like just do my pattern blindly to open it.
The rest of the rom seems good enough for what this phone is capable of, expecting RIL to fix soon.
Thanks a lot dev!

About kernel
Kernel used in this build is based on codename13s and it has many commits from KlinkOnEs ba2x kernel.I call it FrankenKernel as it was pieced from 2 beautiful kernels.
FrankenKernel features:
*Max OC 1152Mhz,min 245Mhz
*Only CFQ,deadline and zen I/O governors.
*CFQ has seen some major rework.
*GPU 245Mhz (Stock value)
*Rework on kernel block, tried to get optimal I/O performance
*Switched to different timeconst for optimal performance
*Compiled TEST branch of FrankenKernel for more performance
How to get Microg working on kylessopen devices, a quick tutorial about MicroG and its setup by @Zeroblood.
About build
Rom is odexed for better performance.
Source sync with latest commits from CM and PAC.
Screen recorder is broken *for now*.
For best experience I suggest you:
*set your CPU Governor to lulzactive
*set your I/O Governor to CFQ
*disable all touch sounds
*turn off Daydream in Settings/Display & lights
*turn off profiles if you do not use them
*If not using blacklist feature in Settings/Privacy disable it
*On first boot disable SuperUser logging and notifications
*Enable notification tick in PAC-Settings/Statusbar
*Floating mode fully functioning ( To access it,open "Recent apps " and hold desired app until you get prompt to use Floating mode)
This is a KylessPAC project
Being that stuff needed to build working KitKat rom for our devices (kylessopen) @kengnatural and I came to an idea to open one github organization were we will store everything we need to build this ROM, so future devs who are interested in helping out or developing, do not have to struggle with compiling and development of this ROM!.
Who are KylessPAC
Right now only @kengnatural and I are part of KylessPAC team, but anyone who is willing to contribute and to make ROMs for Kylessopen better, is free and encouraged to join! This device still has some life in it,so why not play and learn with it?
KylessPAC location

TO OTHERS THAT USE GAPPS:
FIRST FLASH ROM,THEN BOOT IT UP AND SET IT UP,AFTER THAT GO BACK TO RECOVERY AND FLASH GAPPS.
IF YOU DONT DO IT LIKE THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO REFLASH EVERYTHING .

hmm.. I was using xxlj3 modem on the moment I told you ril is finally fixed but really buggy, then I switched to xxbjm1 and that's where it became stable.
Modem-baseband plays a roll when it comes to wifi-RIL stuff.
When you flash cusrom ROM you don't flash modem,as modem is on different partition and its recommended never to switch your modem, use one you've got with phone (your stock rom).
If you do mess up modem, jus download your stock rom and flash it via Odin/Heimdall and youll be a-okay
