First deodexed rom with working xposed on stock Lollipop for NOTE PRO LTE !!!!! SM-P905 with Snapdragon 800
Based on Lollipop TW P905XXUABOE1 XEO
Deodex
Rooted
Xposed work like charm
Init.d
Disable some services from google play for better battery life.
Tuned some files for better music loud.
Add AppOps for blocking permisions
Delate some apps, like Play Music, Kiosk Play etc... who want this app please download from Play Store.
Add some stuf for MultiWindows for all apps !!
Hello everyone.
I wait verry long time, on some deodex rom for Note Pro 12.2 LTE SM-P905....and nothing.
So i made rom, with integrated and working xposed V6 from arter, deodex, rooted, init.d with script to turn off some stuff google play services, for better battery life, tuned audio for loudnes music. Knox is totally removed, rom based on P905XXUABOE1 XEO.
This is my first rom, i dont have pc with linux for make flashable aroma zip. So simply i buckup /system partition with TWRP and with Flashfire for people who no want triped knox.
So. First You must have stock Tw Lollipop on device.
If dont have, download from sammobile P905XXUABOE1 rom, and flash with ODIN. If after that You have lollipop on device, but Your modem is stiil old, then flash device with kitkat, and upgrade to lollipop with OTA.. Some people have problem with flash new modem lollipop, when flash over kitkat modem.
If you have lollipop TW on SM-P905 then download koko115.P905XXUABOE1.Stock.Root.Deodex.Xsposed.initd.boost-TWRP.zip file unzip and unpacked folder copy to /TWRP/BACKUPS/*.*/koko115.P905XXUABOE........
Go to recovery, restory my firmware, then do wipe data. Restart and smile My rom dont have any moded kernel, and bootloader. This is only one system partition. So after restore, wipe data is recomended.
For who dont want tripped knox i make buckup /system partition with FlashFire.
So if you have knox 0x0 and you have TW Lollipop with FlashFire on device.. so simple make wipe data, and restore my rom. Restart device, and smile with no tripped knox, and worked xposed....
File for FlashFire named koko115.P905XXUABOE1.Stock.Root.Deodex.Xsposed.initd.boost_FLASHFIRE.zip so when you download unzip and copy to FlashFire folder, then restore with wipe data.
FOR ALL. IS VERRY IMPORTAND.
MY ROM IS BUCKUP SYSTEM PARTITION SPECIALY MODED FOR DEODEX, AND XPOSED. SO IF YOU WANT RESTORE THIS PARTITION YOU MUST HAVE ON DEVICE LOLLIPOP TW.
IF YOU STILL HAVE KITKAT, GO TO SAMMOBILE AND FLASH WITH ODIN LOLLIPOP FIRMWARE, AFTER THIS RESTORE MY ROM LIKE NORMALY BUCKUP IN FLASHFIRE, OR TWRP AS YOU WISH.

Amazing job man
Rom is working smoothly with root and xposed mods ?
Haven't checked everything yet !
Just MW commander crash after opening it :d no complains of course just thought to mention it
Sent from my SM-P905 using Tapatalk

I look today for mwcommander.

I have problems to restore this ROM by using TWRP.
I unpacked everything, but TWRP does not see all the files.
I have following path:
/TWRP/BACKUPS/553946a2/rom/
with these folders inside:
- meta-inf
- system
How should I properly restore it? So far this backup is not visible (or getting an error: no partitions selected for restore.)

Maybe do this. First do buckup system, then delate all files in last folder, and paste all files from latest folder my rom. And try restore.
V2 IS OUT.
WIPE DATA NO NECCESERY IF HAVE MY FIRTS V1 ROM INSTALED

Awesome ?
Btw checked knox and it wasn't triggered that flashfire tool is really good
Also guys it may take up to 10-15 minutes at Samsung logo don't worry about it just leave it be!
BTW @koko115 could you please check app called "button savior" it gives you the ability to use on screen virtual keys for easy access to back/recent/home buttons for some reason it didn't work after restoring your backup but it was working with 5.0.2!!
I really thought I won't see xposed and therefore never use lollipop on this amazing tab!
Thank you again man for taking the risk and share your masterpiece with us ☺
And before I forget I recommend ppl to disable security updates and reports and disable auto check for updates!

Thanks, works without any issues now.
And - there is a good news. Soon we may expect Android 5.1.1 for our tablet.

https://youtu.be/hctzY1aiZAU
Also Screenoffmemo from Note 5, works perfect
After install remember tick option in administartion..
And set this app to always landscape in appsettings.

Hi Koko,
Unfortunately it doesn't work. I was wishing something in your ROM could be different from the stock, as I have already tested with the P905 stock without success, the modem seems to be different. The P905M is a version for the Latin America and the frequencies here seem to be different. I have already tried to flash the modem from the KK ROM but it doesn't work either.
Anyway thanks!

Do like this.
Buck to kitkat flashed in odin from sammobile. After this in ota actualize to lollipop. After this flash with my rom. If no work, flash all firmware from sammobile, and wait on somethink do rom for Your device.

There is no Lollipop for the P905M yet, unfortunately... I was hoping that the P905 firmware could fit well on the P905M, but this didn't happen.
For some reason Samsung didn't update this specific model. Have no idea why.
Thanks anyway!

Development has moved to a unified page HERE.
This ROM is more or less a debloated stock GE 4.3.
Features
Deodexed
Zip-aligned
Rooted
Auto-loki (For AT&T I337 only)
Removed all apps available in the Play Store except for Google Keyboard
Removed some Samsung bloat
Reboot menu
Play Store 4.3.11
AT&T Hot Spot auto-login (For AT&T I337 only)
Google Wallet works out-of-the-box
Notes
This ROM uses a Sprint (L720) branded build.prop to make Wallet work out-of-the-box. There should be no problems with using a different branding from the phone you actually have. If you want to rebrand it to AT&T (I337) or Canadian (I337M), flash the attached build.prop but Wallet may stop working.

Update: Change the backup folder to /storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup. That helps.

Not that I know of. Lot of stuff not working on 4.3. All mods have to be redone.
Im just curious as to how you know which files to remove for debloating purposes?
I can understand the apps which are in the play store, I know which APKs they are, but there are other files that are there which aren't play store files. For example, something like BCservice, apk, or factorkeystring_fb.apk...etc...
Also is it ok to re-add some APKs back into the archive that you deleted before I flash it? I also downloaded the untouched 4.3 from the other thread and wanted to add some stuff that you removed, but being as your is zipaligned, I didn't know if it would be a problem.

And what is CSC.apk and why is is your's 163k in size when the original is 23k?
Also I don't think it's a good idea to delete the GMScore.apk file from the install.

Google them. I only removed stuff after I figured out what they do. Everything I removed is either available from the Play Store or is a proprietary Samsung app. CSC sets the network. Shouldn't be necessary on the i337 on AT&T but is necessary on other S4s. Mine is larger because it's deodexed. I'm not putting GMScore back in. Pointless.

What is GMScore.apk anyway? I've google searched it and still can't quote figure it out. But your're the only whom I've seem to delete it.
Also I edited the messagey you quoted, I was adding a few files back in to the archive before I flash, like Gmail, Youtube and Chrome. Being as yours is deodexed and zip aligned, I gather it's still ok just to add these few APKs back in? I just grabbed them from the untouched 4.3 in the other thread.
thanks.

GMScore is Play Services. Most ROM devs aren't aware of the fact that it's automatically downloaded so there's no reason to keep it in.
Some apps you can just put back. Others need to be deodexed. Depends. Gmail, YouTube, and Chrome are okay to put back in.
First let me say I appreciate your work in getting this out so fast and putting the time into it.
But I feel the need to say that you just delete too much stuff. Personally I would have just like to have seen you do this ROM, with everything except the debloating.
I like to deodexing, the zipalign, the root, etc....but after putting it on my phone I just find that it is taking me way too long to find and redownload what you deleted.
It would be better in my humble opinion, is to just come out with what you did without deleting anything from the ROM, and let the user decide if they want to remove to debloat anything.
Do you still have a copy of your work before you debloated it? I would greatly appreciate a copy of that.
Thanks a bunch.

No way broskie you need to just go flash the untouched version or a build that fits your need. The point of this ROM is the slimness. Don't change a thing man its perfect
Cept for the home button I used to know how to remap keys on my epic and hero....surely its simple line of code that needs a single value change. How did we do it on the 4.2.2 builds??

I wasn't saying that he should only release a non debloated version, I was just asking if he still had a copy before he did. Devs usually keep various copies of their rom in the different stages.
The reason I like his is because it's pre-rooted, deoxeded. I will end up trying out the untouched version now which is also on here, but that means I need to root it myself, which it seems a bit more of a process on the 4.3 ROMs.
I prefer to debloat ROMs myself.

brother, all you need to do to root the untouched version is simply flash the add on available in the add ons section. if you REALLY want to grab files from an unedited version of the GE ROM, its not polite to expect a dev to upload a special package just for you; go grab the leaked zip from the international portal or just use the untouched edition.

This ROM is rooted. If even flashing SuperSU doesn't work, I don't know what the problem could be. You can try a full wipe.

Issue is that right now TWRP looks for the device to be called "find7a" due to it actually being a Find 7a - but Oppo is shipping it as "FIND7" which is certainly to cause all sorts of issues going forward when the real find 7 comes out.
As soon as I can test it out I will be pushing a TWRP ready version of the OTA - or you can remove the ASSERT lines in the updater-script

No need to remove the Assert lines as I just change one of the FIND7 entries to X9007 for my Find 7a phone and it installs no problems.
Hmm, I installed TWRP and SuperSU, fastbooted the stock recovery.img back and the update file fails to flash in stock recovery for me... I've verified MD5. Not sure what it could be but a TWRP flashable.zip would be very appreciated anybody?
Someone got the international rom to download ( not coloros 2 beta) , i want to flash my chinese x9007 with it?
Well, I made the update, but I noticed that the screen is turning on in my pocket. My phone has the pre-ordered cover So I guess they didn't fix it very well (10.) Except if there is a cover option to tick somewhere.

Did you make any significant changes to /system? I got the update to work with stock recovery but the only difference I had from stock was that the OS was rooted. I also uninstalled Xposed Framework before installing the update. I didn't continue using the updated ROM though because I could not get Titanium Backup restores to work. Funny, because it worked of the previous version of ColorOS 1.2. Right now I'm running the ColorOS 2.0 beta. It's less glitchy than 1.2. I still don't like ColorOS and can't wait for an alternative.

Yeah I got LTE before and am still receiving LTE. I haven't found any glitches of note except that some apps installed to the "phone" storage don't work properly which was also the case with 1.2. Bear in mind I've only used 2.0b for a little over a day. Give 2.0b a try. It can't be much worse. Note that you'll need to either edit the .zip file as mentioned previously or use stock recovery. I used stock recovery.

Yeah I was going to edit the zipfile for the OTA update but didn't have a clue what file I was supposed to change the wording of/in. I might try it Sunday. I'm going to need a working phone tomorrow and saturday, plus I won't have the time until saturday afternoon anyway.
Because of not having a Find 7a right now and not using ColorOS i would be not able to mirror OTA updates, so nice that someone does this. If someone need the FULL package you would find it also in the forum.

I have tried that and it fails and I've tried to flash twrp and the stock recovery in fastboot and they say they install but it remains the same when I go into it. I have the stock recovery now but anything I try to flash says update failed. I have been doing this stuff for a years but this has got me confused.

I had the same issue. I resolved it by downloading V1.2.1i and doing a Local update, after this I was able to download and install all the OTA's.

Steps for Noob?
Hello,
I am a complete noob and just rooted my Sprint S3. Now I am trying to make tethering work.
What I got is:
Model: SPH-L710
Software version: L710VPUDND8
Baseband version: L710VPUDND8
Adroid version: 4.4.2
Kernel version: 3.4.0-1368792
Build number: KOT49H.L710VPUDND8
What should the exact steps be?
Should I
1. download the ND8 odexing zip file from the first post (ND8HotspotMod-odexed.zip) and save to the sd card on the phone
2. boot into recovery by holding the tree keys
3. do recovery with the zip?
Thanks,

Yes, if you didn't flash a custom DeOdexed ROM just flash the Odex ND8 hotspot zip from a CUSTOM recovery. Recommended custom recovery is the very latest PhilZ Touch Recovery.
Recovery FLASHABLE version now posted near the bottom of the first post of the 3Minit Battery Mod for Conquest-Singularity and both Stock ND8 and NDC with 1000+ animated battery icons..

Make a nandroid backup and try it out. It only replaces the services.jar so maybe.
My ROM: WICKED X
So I could just manually move the service.jar and if it don't work I can just recovery move back the old jar and make sure permissions match
getting a 405 "not allowed when trying to download ND8
I'm getting a 405 "not allowed" error when trying to download the ND8.zip from androidfilehost, it seems to have something to do with static posts and their ngenx server, i dunno, anyway, could someone upload the file to a different location (odexed and deodexed would be great, but the phone i'm working on is odexed), it would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!

NJ2 Baseband
Are there any plans to get this mod working with the new NJ2? I tried it but it hangs at the Samsung logo on reboot.
This worked for me, it's called "Galaxytools"
Check out this thread

And if you can't get it from the play store, go here

NJ2 - now hanging
Hello,
I'm currently on NJ2 stock rooted and I used ES to replace the services.odex file. The system now hangs at the "SAMSUNG" screen. Any thoughts?

Did you change the permissions to 0644? If not, the file is not installed and the phone can't boot without services.jar.

I wasn't aware I needed to do permissioning. Through what application do I accomplish this? So the process is: Copy new services.odex -> paste over old version-> modify permissions-> reboot? Also, do I need to do anything with the services.jar?

You can do it with root explorer. No.
At my wits end here. I had no problems at all installing from Philz recovery for my ND8 sprint galaxy s3, but having no luck at all for my Deodex NJ2 sprint galaxy s3. The flashable NJ2 Deodex file doesn't work (as already stated). Nor does the Deodex ND8 version in the first post. Any ideas? I also just tried Lensmonkeys method for the services.jar file in post #583, still didn't work. At least when I did a philz install of the Deodex ND8 file, android attempted to optimize apps at reboot--this didn't happen when I tried files from post #583.
I know I'm on a deodex version of NJ2 because the Odex versions got me stuck at the Samsung logo and necessitated several Odin flashes of my NJ2 file Is it possible to downgrade from NJ2 to ND8? Really no idea what to do now? Perhaps find another custom version of NJ2 and try again? This is driving me mad--I'm willing to try anything!
I got my NJ2 firmware from the samdown site for my L710, which I flashed using Odin--can't post the link unfortunately. So many restrictions for new members

You can't downgrade through Odin, you CAN flash any ND8 ROM in custom recovery like Philz (most custom ones have the hotspot mod included, like both of my ROMs - Wicked X and Wicked S5 Xperience... they both also have all the updates from NJ2 included).

Thanks, did that, no luck. I downloaded the 956mb ND8 firmware a second time, the installation keeps aborting. Verification failure. Assume bad download? No MD5 posted for those firmwares, so can't be sure? I'm brand new to rooting, so excuse my ignorance.
What I did:
1. copied SPR-L710VPUDND8-20140512143014.zip to SD on phone
2. went into Philz recovery
3. install from zip-->chose zip file
4. installation opens zip and immediately aborts
5. tried again with second downloaded SPR-L710VPUDND8-20140512143014.zip, still immediately aborts
6. then did "Wipe Data/Factory Reset, format /system, format /cache, wipe dalvik cache", tried to install zip again, still aborts
7. flashed NJ2 back with Odin (so nice fresh install)
8. installed Philz, rooted, moved ND8HotspotMod.zip (Deodex version) to SD
9. installed ND8HotspotMod with Philz, completed, reboots with app optimization
10. hotspot app works momentarily
11. Supersu disables Knox at my request
12. hotspot subscription error again
Absolutely no issues with my ND8 phone. Took me all of 20 minutes to get that one working. I think I've spent over 10 hours playing with this one NJ2 phone... Did I get the basics of installation wrong? Should I just go with Chad the Pathfinders custom NJ2 Deodex firmware, and then try the ND8 Deodex mod again? Or just try one of the wicked roms?

Mate , the worst situation is that you mess up all the partitions which you can fix using the stock pit files ( for which I made a thread ... here ) ... so don't get frightened and try the recover and the ROM ( even in the recovery , you can't install the ROM because the model number differs ... ) also tell me about the nand structure and the CPU and also the Network support ... If everything is the same (esp the CPU and Nand Structure ) it's alright to give it a try but, if not , It's a waste of time to play this ... so , please provide a bit more detail ...

Yes, I can install TWRP and flash custom p601 roms (5.0.1) without a problem. When I flash a 5.1.1 custom rom, it did not. I beleive it is because of the new boot.img of 5.1.1 roms.

It'is identical to SM-P601 variant of note 10.1^2014, Just the RIL part is modified for not to support voice calls, It only use sim to connect network. When I flash p601 roms, I am able to make voice calls. I also make thread about it here. Partitioning is differs from p601 too. It's not the same but similar. One of my friends overwrite the pit with p601 stock roms and bricked the device before. I can boot with cm12 and cm13 roms for p601. But I want to use 5.1.1 stock or stock based roms.

You know why ? ( no that's not " Because sky is high !!! " ) the reason is that you have the KK Bootloader which causes the problem ... as you know , first you need to flash a P601 firmware to get the new bootloader ( Extremely Important Note !!!! ... Do not even think of ( ) ticking the " Update bootloader " in the Odin which makes you blame your self later ... !!!! the lollipop boot loader is installed by it self ... just do nothing about it ...) try if it get's installed that way ... also take a look at this ... maybe you find it useful ( to convert the P602 to P601 !!! ) Note that I haven't tried it on Lollipop CM or some other ROMs so make a backup first !!! ... If you couldn't install the Odin way , there are other apps and if they failed , then find the Multi-file version of P600 / P601 Lollipop ROM to flash the bootloader part directly ... Good luck :good:
hey dude have you ever found something about 5.1.1 bootloader for p602? I need that
I have restored my device which is a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 edition 2014 by using the settings>restore method. However, the screen is not going on, staying constant as i showed with photo below. I have opened the case of tablet, i have extracted the battery, and connected it again. No way, it does not continue, stays as constant like the photo. Is there anyone who can provide a solution?

@agesilaus have tried flashing original Samsung firmware with Odin?
Hello All, much worse happened to me: after 8 years of resistance I figured 4.2 is way too old so went for the stock update on the device. It was downloading for too long, stopped 3 times during the process. I guess it is when it got damaged as the above nice samsung logo got stuck after reboot. When I tried to boot to recovery it does the flashing again (definition of insane - doing the same expect different result) and that's all hangs in the air again. (Exactly as it is shown above on the picture - waited until the tabled discharged.)
I could boot to download but the latest odin doesn't like the stock image (hoping it is that, if anyone has a safe copy a share would be appreciated).
One more info the machine is badly overheating, ADB connects, but says device is not authorised and I can't remember if I had any PC enabled for the device would be still alive...
Many thanks for any hints.
@xantbubus for that old firmware I'd take Odin 3.09.
Using the multiple file firmware is safer.
You don't say which device exactly.
Which region?

Hello, thank you so much, apologies, it is sm-p602, the region is Turkey (althugh I live in Hungary but it was bought there).
Do you have a link for split firmware? They say even sm-p601 is working perfectly only the restriction on the call is lifted...
@xantbubus if sammobile, samfrew or others don't let you have them, use SamFirm_Reborn_0.3.6.3 which will definitely give you multiple files (if settings are correct ).

Thanks, google was not really my friend on this. Btw, I resolved the issue. Unfortunately I needed to clean the data partition but after that it worked. I guess the 3.09 odin also played part as earlier it was trying to reflash instead of going to recovery so thank you all!

SM-T805C Just want GAPPS

Hi everyone
I have a China bought Galaxy Pad S. ROM= CHC-T805CZCU1BOJ4. I want to install play store and Google apps on the device.
I have been busy for more than 3 days trying various methods including:
I have rooted it using kingroot. tried installing google services framework and google services and then playstore. No shortcuts for these were installed after the install and there is no trace of them.
I have tried flashing a european rom, hong kong T805 roms and many other T805 original roms but odin fails at modem.bin for these
I changed the tar file and added the CHC-T805CZCU1BOJ4's modem file to the tar but then it fails at system.img which is the the most important file.
I then reverted back to original CHC-T805CZCU1BOJ4 using odin.
I installed cfautoroot with twrp
I installed gapps 5.0.2 using twrp recovery. It installs successfully and at startup android shows it is updating but after I boot into the system there is no trace of Gapps.
I have Booted into TWRP recovery and tried to flash Schischu's Android 6.0 Marshmallow Rom
And Android AOSP based 7.0 Nougat Rom for Samsung Galaxy Tab S (T700/T705/T800/T805)
Doesn't install and just keeps running. I left it for more than an hour.
I have given up hope.
I am now back to original firmware with twrp and rooted with supersu
I don't care about Knox waranty and just want a sytem with gapps and no chinese bloatware.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your responses.
I made a full backup of my stock rom and a full backup Of IronRom after they were installed using TWRP.
The kernel is in the boot right?
I used twrp to restore everything from my stock T805C Rom except the system. Then I restored the system from IronRom. It doesn't want to boot up then.
I restored boot from IronRom then it boots fine but no simcard again.
I also flashed a european boot.img for the T805 then it boots up into IronRom with still no simcard.
How can I edit the boot.img for my stock rom so it loads up with IronRom?
Or maybe I can send my stock boot.img to a developer that can change it?
Post both to me I'll rebuild the boot.img with your ramdisk and iron kernel.

Thanks ashyx I really appreciate this. I have been on the chinese forums and there are no roms for the SM-T805C out there either.
All of them are also looking for a rom for the T805-C that works. If this works I can reference you on their forums.
Find attached the two kernels

I have repacked the kernel with the T805C ramdisk, but tbh I don't think it will make any difference to sim. I think maybe the T805C uses a different module and needs a modified kernel build to match.

Well, I'm in the same boat as canabino. I flashed IronRom 3.2 on my T805C and it works all good except for baseband which says "Unknown".
I tried to use your modified kernel but it made tablet stuck on samsung logo.
Is there anyway around this problem? any help here would be much appreciated.

To fix the baseband you probably need the T805c modem.

I have the latest modem file for T805C and I tried to fix the problem by flashing it, but it's still says Unknown baseband. I revert back to stock official rom and now I'm working on a script to add multilanguage support for that tablet.
UPDATE: Managed to add MultiLanguage Support for the T805C model
