How do I return to stock on a mac?

I am rooted, but before I start flashing roms, I want to learn how to return to stock on my mac. Could someone explain step by step or refer me to where I can find a detailed explanation?

Q&A Section can help you.
It's quite easy.
Google provided images of everything, with a handy script to make them all go.
http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html#mysid
Download the factory images package, command line into the directory, and run the script. "sh <scriptname>" should do it.
I forgot if it includes the tools or not, but worst case scenario, you'll have to get the android sdk downloaded also, then drop those images into and run the script from the platform-tools folder.
Try my guide. Its for the nexus s 4G but everything should be the same thing. Just make sure u put your phones stock img files into the adb folder.

I have posted this question in almost five forums without an answer. I posted the question where people are more computer and code savvy in hope someone wouldn't mine explaining what to do. I thought I might find someone here who would help.

Five other forums are not what they are talking about. On XDA, you are in a sub-forum of Samsung Galaxy Nexus, for only development. You will not be received well here.
Go Here and repost: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1431
Thats Galaxy Nexus Q&A
This URL is for the list of subforums in nexus: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1336
And this is the forum sticky in this forum you should have read before posting:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1400919
Which says, don't post in this forum, there is a forum for posting.
EDIT:
I was bored so i looked around for you, in the Galaxy Nexus General thread (you've posted there before), at the top, there is a sticky called "NEXUS STICKY | USEFUL INFO", in there is this url with instructions for OSX: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1366806

It doesn't matter if you posted your question 235,653,966 times somewhere else. Questions do not belong in the development section.

Spot on! I'm posting your link, everywhere I had gone for help. I didn't get the help I needed, but I did get a lot of views. I know I'm not alone. This may help eliminate others from posting for assistance of this kind, in this forum. Thank you for your generosity of spirit!
To the XDA mall cops, relax your nerve. Move on there's nothing happening here.
Say??
How's your Christmas?
Oops, got nothing to do with development.
As far as I'm concerned, this thread is closed. Cheers!

Actually, you'll probably encourage more people to ask the wrong questions in the wrong place without looking for answers first. The answers you seek were already all over this nexus forum, had you looked and read everything you were told to read, you would have found it.
And had you posted in the section FOR questions & answers, you would have gotten an answer much faster, and with far less hate.

Android app tutorials

I know somewhere on this forum there might be android development tutorials but I need in depth tutorials. There is this site called thenewboston where this brilliant Guy named Bucky make tutorials of android app development but he's not really explaining why things are for example-(missedException e) or (why.things.areLikeThis). I'm sure someone get what I'm saying. I'm just looking for in depth Android app development or plain android development. Even an in-depth Java tutorial because they're pretty much the same thing.

Nevermind instead of doing a Google search I looked in the Play store and found some interesting apps. Not videos but something.

Just refer to stickies and go make your own profile and have at it. Peoples reputation follow them here on this site, so this whole screen name is gone to a bad wrap. Make a new name read and then lost after reading if you have questions.

OP please refer the stickys to find what you are looking for...should be an easy search, stickys are located at the top of the threads. Thanks.

[Q] Can someone cook this up for T-Mobile Note 2

This Thread (linked below) is from the Sprint Note 2 forum, and I believe that it would be amazing if a developer did this for the T-Mobile Version.
It's a stock rom with an automatic flash counter reset built right in!.
Sprint Thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2086769
Please any willing developers check this out as I believe doing this would be a great duty to the community!
If this is in the wrong thread, sorry. but don't stick this is a generic (NOT NOTE 2) section as it won't be found and won't serve the community!

Ah!!! It's now moved from Developer's to General! Any reason why? Seems like that'd encourage unnecessary chatter!
Thanks!!! :highfive:
