Yes there is, the Tmobile S6 Edge+ needs to be un-locked.
Check out this thread below, it talks about a Tmobile Note 4
using a Verizon sim card but it's the same principle getting
your S6 Edge+ working with a Verizon sim card.

Good luck!

You might also need to adjust the APN to work with verizon.

T-Mobile / Simple Mobile / Galaxy S3 ?

Until recently I have been with Sprint. And I am located in South Florida.
I am considering going with Simple Mobile as I'm told that T-Mobile has one of the best data speeds in this area. And I want to get a Galaxy S3 as the phone to use with this service.
Can anyone here advise as to whether this would work with Simple Mobile (I called them but they won't say anything only that they don't don't support it - meaning they don't sell it so don't bother them), at what speeds?
I also assume that I must get the T-Mobile version of this phone. That seems quite difficult unless I want to pay a big premium to T-Mobile, who charges much more than say AT&T for their version. So if anyone has any suggestions where I can get one (I would prefer a store, not eBay)?
Thanks
try the xda marketplace
edit: nvm just saw you dont have enough posts.
I read that the Sprint variant of the S3 would work on T-Mobile. You just have to unlock the phone I believe.

I remember negri sells the phone for $599 unlocked. That's the cheapest I've seen for the TMobile version. It's not cheaper by much but it's unlocked and you may save on taxes.

Sprint is cdma and T-Mobile is GSM. How are you going to stick a sim card in that sprint phone?

My wife is using it on Simple Mobile. It works great.
Simple Mobile is a Mvno of t-mobile so you don't need to have an unlocked T999. Just change the apn. A's far as speeds. I live in Central Florida and I get the same speeds as t-mobile. I recommended. As far as where to buy the phone. I went to t-mobile and paid $599 for it. Haven't really seen it cheaper.

The Sprint version does not have the AWS bands that T-Mobile requires.

No. It doesn't have the AWS bands that T-Mobile requires. And they don't have "4G".

It does have a sim slot but it's not user accessible.
It's hidden behind the plastic under the battery.
Sprint has taken this approach with all there LTE devices.
The only exception may be the Photon Q since it's touted as being a global device.

Receiving updates on unlocked note 2?

So heres an easy question. If I unlock my tmobile note 2.....where would updates come from? Would they come from samsung directly? Or would I still have to wait on tmobile?

When you unlock, It just unlocks the phone so that you can use other sim cards in it but as long as you are stock you should still get any updates from T-mobile...
(might have to have a T-mobile sim card in it though)

At&t S3

I have a question I'll be buying a At&t S3 from someone on Friday it's not unlocked but I'll be unlocking it for tmobile cause that's what I use currently. So the question is once I unlock it and root it do I use tmobile S3 roms or do I use the AT&T custom roms ?

AT&T roms only. Your hardware is still AT&T so your software should be AT&T.
If you use a rom for another phone company's phone, you risk the chance of bricking.

T-Mobile Note 3 on AT&T?

Hey guys, I have a good local deal that I can take advantage of on a T-Mobile Note 3, but I'm on AT&T. I can use it if I unlock it correct?
Any preferred places to unlock it? Is there any disadvantage of running a T-Mobile Note 3 on AT&T? I just want to make sure before I pull the trigger.
Thanks!

There is a thread under general, showing how to activate att on tmobile , with chain fire app from google play. I just install the app and it work fine, I had to reboot 2 for it to work, hope it works for you

it works. i helped a friend of mine unlock his T-Mo Note 3 (he used cellunlocker.net) and it's working without issue on AT&T. by that i mean, full LTE coverage, phone calls, etc.
I fully concur.

[Q] Can ISIS be used with an AT&T SIM card on this phone?

I know the T-mobile version of GN3 is powerful and almost fully compatible with AT&T. However, I still have one question: after the phone is unlocked, can ISIS be used with an AT&T SIM card on this phone? Have any of you tried?
Thanks!
Nobody tried?

Someone tried with a VZW note 3 without any success using T-Mobile service... figure the same would be true with an AT&T version.
I had tmobile and isis was working. Switched to att with correct sim and won't activate. Called numerous times but they can't get it to work

Any more samples? what could be the reason for the incompatibility please?
The Isis is the sim card. If its Isis att sim it might.

It is a no go
Is just got a AT&T ISIS Sim but couldn't activate on an unlocked Tmobile Note 3. The funny thing is that nobody on at&t support could help me because none of the support people (who just can read from scripts btw, their response was to call Google since the ISIS wallet is downloaded from the google store) even knew what ISIS was... So I am giving up and going back to my Nexus 5 and google wallet... Shame on you AT&T and Samsung...
Same here. Can't set up account with att isis sim on unlocked tmobile phone. Anyone else have any luck? or alternate way to set up account? on the brighter side, I seem to be getting slightly better signal with the new sim..not sure if its just a coincidence
