Hi All,
Just to update i sending my phone back to Elephone and get the problem fixed.
You may consider sending back as i think it not due to the software it might be hardware fault.
Now i have working phone.
Thanks.

[Q] Seems N5110 has no proximity sensor?

Trying different apps and sensor tests it appears that mine has no proximity sensor. Do you confirm on your devices?

Same here, Proximity Sensor Finder finds nothing.
I'm a little disappointed about it but no big deal.

My only issue is that apps such as awesome on/off do not work. What to use for powering on/off the screen with case with no magnet.

The power button.
Just kidding. Seriously though, I've never even thought about using the proximity sensor for turning the screen off. My first reaction to this thread was "so what, I'm not using the device as a phone (holding it up to my ear) so what do we need a proximity sensor for?"
But using the proximity sensor to power off the screen when using a cover, is a pretty cool concept, I'll admit.
I wonder how strong a magnet is needed in order to make the phone sleep/wake. Maybe you can use magnetic tape on the flap of your cover to serve the purpose.

Red/Yellow camera tint in my HTC Desire 728 Dual SIM and G-Sensor Problem

Hello,
I purchased my phone just 5 days ago and I am facing two problems with it :-
1> Whenever I turn off the auto-rotate in settings, the G-Sensor stops working after some time or after a restart. To get the sensor working again I need to shutdown phone and turn it on after few mins and then turn on auto rotate to keep that sensor working.
My auto rotate is on since last 25 hours and the g-sensor is working but as soon as I turn it off, the g-sensor stops after a certain amount of time. No permanent fix found for this yet.
2> Whenever I try to click a photo with flash , I get a pink tint when I click a photo of a white notebook page. And when I try to click a photo of an object which is not white, then it tints it to yellow. Also, I noticed that my flashlight gets very hot within few seconds of turning it on. No temporary/permanent fix found for this yet.
Is there anyway how I could fix these both issues ?
Best Regards,
Pr0Ankit
Hi Pr0Ankit, even i am having the same issue. i went to the service center regarding this, they said one update is pending for the phone specific to G SENSOR. They also said that update might come in the first week of August. Fingers crossed.
Device Replaced
Hello Mohit,
I went to the service centre too and they diagnosed my device and signed the DOA papers (Dead On Arrival) . They somehow fixed the camera but could not fix the g-sensor therefore they said me to get a new device. I took the DOA papers back to the store and bought Samsung Galaxy J7. I would request you to do the same.
Here are the screenshots :-

Screen working only while battery removed

Few days ago i drop my phone and broke screen, i ordered a digitizer with lcd display, it has two connections to mother board, one for digitizer and one for lcd display,
after i installed new component i boot the phone, nothing appeared, lcd seems not working. Phone functions are all OK. I can hear unlock sound. Which means digitizer also work OK.
Then I tought new lcd panel is not working. Finally by coincidence I found that if I remove the battery and plug the charging cable, lcd screen magically starts working and it looks like this:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I tried to plug the battery when lcd is working. But again it stops working as soon as I plug the battery.
So are there anyone who have a clue? Why would lcd is not working with battery? I also tried with another lg g3 stock battery again not working. And if I unplug the battery and try to wireless charging still the same yellow triangle appears. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Today i findout, if i put some flashlight on screen in a dark room, i actually see phone screen is properly displaying. So lcd display is working but backlight not working when phone bootup.
It's confusing that phone backlight also works when battery unplugged. So any ideas?

Screen off issue after replacing cracked screen

Hi Folks, looking for some help after I just about managed to replace a cracked screen & frame (I fell on top of my phone during a mountain bike descent into Glen Doll, Scotland as an aside!).
After painstakingly taking the cover, mid-frame, battery, motherboard etc out and putting them back together, I thought it was a minor miracle the phone worked again. The only issue I am having is that the screen switches off and stays off while making any calls, no matter whether I hold the phone to my ear or in front of my face.
Is this a proximity sensor issue? If so where exactly is it located and how can I check whether it's either damaged or not properly connected? Thanks in advance for any help
Sounds like it, Does you screen auto brightness work?
Its the little red sensor just under the top speaker on the right.
Nope, auto brightness isn't working either.
Do you know whether the sensor is soldered on or whether it can just be removed & replaced? The sensor seems to be in place but guessing it's not properly connected

I had the same problem as you and I think you also forgot to put the cover of proximity/light sensor.

Exactly the same problem on mine. Sadly threw away the part. Does anyone know the partnumber of this or where to buy it in Europe?

Screen issue?

I have a unlocked Note 10+ from best buy. Got it yesterday and when I wake up the phone I get a quick (pixel flash) to the right of the front facing camera. It flashes real fast and is a white color. Then it goes away. But when I first setup the phone it stayed on longer. Is this a sensor(?) Does anyone have a issue like this so far? Thanks for the help
Ok so I hit the power button (to sleep the phone and to turn it back on) 10 times. 6 out of the 10 times a small white pixel flashes fast then goes away.
Sensor.

Do you know why it only shows up randomly?

I'm not doubting the Proximity sensor. I am saying what the OP is experiencing is something else that isn't related to the Prox sensor
I also noticed the same thing. If everyone are noticing it, it probably is a feature. This also happens when you start any call.

This is the proximity sensor. The same concept was seen in the S10 series
