New custom ROM (eXistenZ) theme - mnml_white_custom:
Softkeys now visible in Google apps, please update to the version 003!
Please note, before installing this theme:
It changes: the colour of navigation bar background and buttons, colours of system apps, background, lollipop accent colours
It doesn't change: colour of quick settings panel background, icons,... (change it in eXistenZ settings), colour of expanded status bar background, icons,... (again, change it in eXistenZ settings)

Liking the look of it so far.. Can you make the nav bar color always black and the status bar color following the theme accent.. I can see that there may be some inconsistencies regarding the nav bar and status bar color.. Based on the screenshots posted, the nav bar and status bar color are swapped between apps..

Fixed in v004, if you find any other inconsistencies, let me know.
I had a look to the theme creater update and started having a play, but then you've already made the theme I would have made, so that saved some time, I'll just use yours haha.

Unfortunately, after several tries this is currently impossible without obtaining the ROOT access for the system and modifying both framework and systemUI. I will keep checking when newer versions of the theme creator are released.

Glad you like it, I will keep adding more colour combinations (and perhaps also more sotfkey choices) whenever time permits

Thank you very much, just what I was looking for works well but I have a problem, every time I turn on the phone I get the window starting applications.
Can you tell me which file. "Xml" must be edited within the systemUI.apk to choose the color of the status bar and the bottom of the togles?

The background for status bar is defined in /res/values/drawables.xml, line 5, as *suprise* status_bar_background.
For the toggle bar IIRC it's tw_quick_panel_on.9.png.

Hello again I managed to set the background color of black toggles, I managed to put the black status bar, so far so good.
I have put the clock on the status bar in blue, notifications of the status bar in blue, and the percentage of the battery in blue.
Can you help me please?
I have decompiled the "systemUI.apk" (XWLS8 STOCK) and I can modify all XML files please help me.

- Status bar clock in blue:
There are three xml-files involved here, I've never tried to sort out which is the one doing the trick ...
/res/layout/status_bar.xml
In line 16, defining status bar clock, add "android:textColor="#ff33b5e5"
/res/layout/tw_status_bar.xml
In line 21, defining status bar clock, add "android:textColor="#ff33b5e5"
/res/values/styles.xml
In line 17, change value of color to "android:textColor="#ff33b5e5"
- Other notifications in status bar:
You've to find out by yourself. I prefer them in white as this gives me a clear distinction between permanent indication (blue clock) and temporary notifications (white).
- Percentage of battery:
As I don't like the deceiving exactness of percentage at all I've never cared about it. Nevertheless, these are png-files in /res/drawable-hdpi. Just extract them from a respective mod and insert them into your SystemUI.apk.

I made some 3D icons for toogle (70x70 pixels) and attach them for sharing with all of you who make THEMEs, MODs or ROMs.
This isn't MOD , these are only icons.
If you like them, use them in your MODs of course, just don't forget to press thanks button!
If some icons missing, send me an idea and I will try to do in the 3D version , also in other colours. But keep in mind, creating icons is not my occupation, I doing that in free time (but I don't have it ) . So I expect understanding in advance about the time that I need to accomplish your wishes .

Ok, I got the idea from some GB ROM, but there were only 5 icons, I've done more than 25 new.
And I want to do some more, I've already got a request for a reboot and Brightness Icons.
I try to do the best I can.
I have plans to do icons in other colors, also, but first I want to finish with making all toggle icons, color changing is a piece of cake.

np - good work deserves recognition
Not sure about the new sound & the mode off icons though - I think I prefer the old JKay Gingerbread 3D style like the others (Blue=on, Grey=off).
I used/made quite a lot of these in my VRThemes for JKay 14.1 on 4.0.3 and have got quite attached to them!

Atlast found a theme with dark folder background.
But as shown in your screenshots headers in settings are still in white color and folder icons labels are all green.

God bless you! I just bought the phone (Xperia M2 with KK 4.4.4 btw) and I was sick already of that white background. This was exactly what I was looking for. And the dark backgrounds are kickass too!!
Still, you should reorganize the whole thing. The apk file names are inverted (dark is light and vice versa), not just the links and the images in the posts of this thread are missing. But great job anyway.

Yes please. In the dark theme, font are barely visible in most of applications. I use the light theme even if I was at the begining looking for a dark theme for my z3.

Yeapp i can change it but also ther will change color of app bar in multitasking and some buttons in settings. I will upload new all dark version around today evening (central europe time).
Thanks for all kinds of words and give ideas what color do you want next! Guys on xda made themes with material, bright modern color. I can make something darker e.g brown or navy blue. :d

Yes navy blue is good idea! But make also stock dark color. You can try change the background list to make all dark just like here in the right screenshot http://i.imgur.com/Tz29Dfa.png. It would be awesome btw thanks a lot for your great theme because stock xperia themes are ugly

Nope, Xperie theme builder support only Android Kitkat at the moment. I use Android Studio with latest SDK

Thanks man both AOSP and Sony stock navbars thanks a lot
But the blue theme the volume colors so darker, such unreadable. Can make it a little bit brighter?? Attachment added for better understand.

On Wifi screen, the statusbar bg and the on/off switch bg color looks almost same. Can something be done to this?
