Please post exact casing dimensions - Huawei Watch

Could someone please post the exact dimensions of the Huawei watch case in mm? Every review or specs listing I've seen says it has a 42mm diameter - but this clearly doesn't include the 'lugs' at either end. I have a pretty small wrist, and so would like to know the exact height, width, depth of the watch casing, not just the face.
Really torn between this and the new Moto 360 42mm, which looks like it sits neater on the wrist. The Moto's wireless charging is another plus, although I wonder would this take significantly longer to charge than the Huawei's contact charger? However, the Moto's screen seems a bit of a let-down for a second-gen product in comparison to other watches. Any feedback on mic sensitivity and vibration intensity from those who have used the Huawei would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks :good:
EDIT: To clarify what I mean by 'sits neater on the wrist', reference this quote from Digital Trends review of the Moto: "That 42mm casing looks slimmer and fits more naturally on the wrist than the Huawei Watch, it’s closest competitor size-wise. The bezels are thinner, the profile more slender, and the lugs are angled correctly, so they don’t wing over slim wrists". Never mind - I've more or less decided to go with the 42mm Moto 360. Initially I was 100% going for the Huawei, but now I've pretty much made my mind up in the opposite direction, and was helped by the following threads among other reviews and videos:

Hand Crafted Leather Case *Review/Impression*

Hey, I finally found a leather case that I am extremely happy with, anybody else bought this? the Carbon version of it also looks pretty neat.... anyways, here is my first Impression so far (Positive)
Handcrafted (explains the price)
Sturdy leather that has a nice touch
Narrow straps, which keep the exact Tablet profile
Closing flap falls nicely into place
Minimal design
Negative my negative impression so far :
Not super functional
No strong closing mechanism
I think that this case is definitely for people who like exclusive cases, but don't need it to be super functional with all kinds of different pockets and and straps.
So, anybody else bought this?
What do you think?

UPDATE: 1.5 Month heavy usage
hey, just wanted to give a last update. The case hasnt changed much, the leather still looks very nice, even after heavy daily usage.
what I have noticed though, is that the corners tend to bend a bit towards on the inside (been carrying it around in my backpack) but, that is just a tiny flaw that you can't really do much against... anyways, If there is demand i can take some pics...
It seems nice but quite expensive ! (at least for me)

Good case that's available in the UK!

Hi guys,
I bought this case the other day, after buying a £14 360 degree rotation case on ebay at the same time I bought my Note 10.1... It was cool, cause you could separate the case, and use just the inner case without the cover bit, but it was crap quality. It felt crap, wasn't lined, the camera on the front wasn't lined up, and I wasn't satisfied.
Upon looking for another case that I could buy that was in the UK, I found the "The Pad'" 'folio case' by Shocksock....
It's only a few quid more than the other case I bought, but is miles better. Everything lines up really well, and the case, while not oozing quality, feels nice, and looks smart. There is a couple of sharp feeling sticky-outy threads, where the sewing has been done, and the thread cut, but other than that, it's great. It's a shame it's not seperatable, but it's just miles better, and reasonable IMO for £20. I certainly couldn't find anything that looked better, so took a punt. It can also be positioned at any angle, due to a hard velcro ridge at the bottom of the tablet that sticks into and on the lining of the cover. The magnet seems a little weak, but it's closing nicer now the Note has settled into the case and stretched it in the right places - It also feels cushioned and very protective... recommended.

Thanks for the pics, that does look very good for 20 quid!
The design is different from a lot of the cases up for sale available via links on this forum.
One question though, is there a gap/cut out for the S-pen?
Unfortunately this came a little too late for me though, I purchased the original Samsung book case in dark grey and have a noreve leather one on order.
It's BULKY!

[Q] What size watchband?

Does anyone have any factual knowledge as to what size watchband will fit the 360? I want to put a black StrapCode super engineer ii band on it but it looks too thick.

wow
wow great watch
It seems as if the 360 does not use a universal watch band so I'm thinking you can only use the bands moto releases. Kinda sucks
The Moto 360 will use standard 22mm watch straps. So feel free to purchase any style band you want, so long as it's 22mm.
It's hard to tell from what few pictures there are, but it might take a curved end band instead of a straight one.

I'm looking at that one (in black) but think I may go for the Pebble version for $3 more...
http://www.amazon.com/Pebble-Steel-Metal-Watchband-Packaging/dp/B00L8C81BY/
Warehousedeals has it for $17.
Hope the weight of a metal band doesn't cause the watch to fall from the Qi charging dock, since it just sits in there with the light leather band...

Review: Havit HV-CH010

This is a review of a carholder from Havit - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013E5WWZ8
Personally I don’t use car holders very often as they tend to be rather unreliable and cause lots of vibration, and therefore I really paid some attention to the one from Havit. The product itself came in a box that looks very similar to the ones that Havit usually use, and inside the box there was a manual and the card holder itself.
The car holder itself is a very solid one and it’s quite heavy and big compared to other models I’ve tested out in the past. On the bottom of the holder there’s a piece of sticky rubber that you stick to the window of the car, and then all you’ve got to do is to spin the little wheel around for a bit. After installing it it’s very hard to pull it off, but there’s a small rubber flap at the bottom that makes it easy to remove it.
The car holder is quite resistant against vibrations due to its construction, and it feels very solid as well compared to other models that often tend to have quite sketchy quality. The clamp that holds the phone is rubberized so there’s no need to worry about it scratching your phone, and it stays snug in there.
This car holder has many advantages but there’s one thing that some might find annoying, and that’s the size; it’s a bit big and bulky but the added size makes up for it with all the features it offers. Overall, I like this car holder and it’s surely a product that’s worth having a look at.
Note that the product was sent to me for free in exchange of this review, but that does not affect my opinion or reviews in any way.

Nice universal Smartwatch and Phone stand UK

Hi all,
Been looking for a decent Watch/Phone stand for the bedside table like the one @player911 posted and came across this on Amazon UK. It's only £9.99 and as it's made out of wood & would easily be adjusted for the Huawei Watch puck.

I use this same stand and considered making the hole larger to fit the Huawei charger but ended up just using 3M two-sided tape to attach it centered above the smaller existing hole. It looks good and actually works well. The only downside is that your charger can't be used anywhere else, but I bought an extra charger though for travel anyway.
Thanks for the info I'll consider doing that when it arrives. Where did you get the charger from and is it OEM? Thanks

From Huawei's site - http://www.gethuawei.com/buy-huawei-watch , but I'm in the U.S. and I'm not sure if they deliver to the UK.
edit: It appears that site is U.S. only as in the shopping cart only "United States" is listed in the drop-down (
Cool thanks, I can order one from the Google store when they eventually stock them.
Winner
Spot on OP
My Dremelsmanship isn't the finest but I got the puck to fit snugly
